ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛ ᏄᎾᏛᏁᎵᏙᎸᎢ 11
1 ᎨᏥᏅᏏᏛᏃ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ ᏧᏗᏱ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏁ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏚᎾᏓᏂᎸᏨ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ.
And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of YHWH.
2 ᏈᏓᏃ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏭᎷᏨ ᏗᎨᏥᎤᏍᏕᏎᎸᎯ ᏕᎬᏩᎦᏘᎸᏎᎢ,
And when Kepha was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
3 ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᎡᎢ; ᏂᏗᎨᏥᎤᏍᏕᏎᎸᎾ ᏕᎯᏴᏎᎴᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎢᏣᎵᏍᏓᏴᏁᎢ.
Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
4 ᎠᏎᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎤᎴᏅᎮ ᏚᏃᎮᎮᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎤᏱᎸᏎᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎢ;
But Kepha rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,
5 ᏦᏈ ᎦᏚᎲ ᎨᏙᎲᎩ ᎦᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗᏍᎬᎩ; ᏣᎦᎵᎰᏃ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎾᏆᎵᏍᏓᏁᎸ ᎠᏆᏁᎳᏫᏎᎸᎩ, ᎠᏖᎵᏙ ᎠᎩᎪᎲᎩ ᎡᎳᏗ ᏅᏓᏳᏍᏗᏗᏒᎩ, ᎡᏆ ᎠᏄᏬ ᎾᏍᎩᏯᎢ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏅᏓᏳᏓᎴᏅᎯ, ᏅᎩ ᏂᏚᏅᏏᏴ ᏥᏚᏂᏂᏴᏐᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎠᏴ ᎠᎩᎷᏤᎸᎩ.
I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
6 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᏆᎦᏙᏍᏔᏅ ᎠᏆᏓᏅᏖᎸᎩ ᎠᎴ ᏕᏥᎪᎥᎩ ᏅᎩ ᏗᏂᏅᏌᏗ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎢᎾᎨ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎠᎾᏓᎾᏏᏂᏙᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎦᎸᎶ ᎠᏂᏃᎯᎵᏙᎯ.
Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7 ᎧᏁᎬᏃ ᎠᏆᏛᎦᏅᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎾᎩᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏔᎴᎲᎦ ᏈᏓ, ᎯᎷᎦ ᎠᎴ ᎭᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᎦ.
And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Kepha; slay and eat.
8 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎯᎠ ᎾᎩᏪᏒᎩ; ᏞᏍᏗ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᏝᏰᏃ ᎢᎸᎯᏳ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎦᏓᎭ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏅᎦᎸᎲᎾ ᏳᏴᎶ ᏥᎣᎵ.
But I said, Not so, Master: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎧᏁᎬ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎯᎠ ᏅᏛᎠᎩᏪᏎᎸᎩ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏛᎤᎶᏒᎩ; ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏅᎦᎸᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏞᏍᏗ ᎦᏓᎭ ᏲᏎᎮᏍᏗ.
But the voice answered me again from heaven, What YHWH hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
10 ᏦᎢᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎩ, ᏂᎦᏛᏃ ᎦᎸᎳᏗ ᏔᎵᏁ ᏭᎵᏌᎳᏓᏅᎩ.
And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
11 ᎬᏂᏳᏉᏃ ᎩᎳᏉ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏦᎢ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ ᎠᏂᏙᎾᎥ ᎠᏓᏁᎸ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᏉᎸᎢ, ᎬᎩᏯᏅᎰᎸᎯ ᏏᏌᎵᏱ ᏅᏓᎨᏥᏅᏒᎯ.
And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.
12 ᎠᏓᏅᏙᏃ ᎯᎠ ᎾᎩᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏂᏗᏣᏢᏫᏎᎲᎾ ᏘᏍᏓᏩᏚᎦ. ᎾᏍᏉᏃ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏑᏓᎵ ᎢᏯᏂᏛ ᎢᏓᏓᏅᏟ ᎬᏆᎵᎪᏁᎸᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ ᏗᎦᏁᎸ ᏬᎩᏴᎸᎩ.
And the spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:
13 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎣᎩᏃᏁᎸᎩ ᎤᎪᎲᎢ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎤᏩᏒ ᎦᏁᎸᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᏙᎨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎴᎢ; ᏦᏈ ᏘᏅᎵ ᎠᏂᏫᏅ, ᎠᎴ ᏫᏯᏅ ᏌᏩᏂ ᏈᏓ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ;
And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Kepha;
14 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᏣᏃᏁᎵ ᎢᏣᏛᏁᏗᏱ ᏣᎵᏍᏕᎸᏗᏱ ᏂᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᏗᏣᏤᎵ ᏏᏓᏁᎸᎢ.
Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
15 ᎠᏆᎴᏅᎲᏃ ᎠᎩᏬᏂᏒ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎡᎳᏗ ᏄᏛᏁᎸᎩ, ᎤᏂᎷᏤᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎠᏴ ᏥᎩᎷᏤᎸ ᏗᏓᎴᏂᏍᎬᎢ.
And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
16 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎠᏆᏅᏓᏛᎩ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎤᏁᏨᎢ, ᎯᎠ ᏥᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᏣᏂ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯ ᎠᎹ ᏓᏓᏬᏍᏗᏍᎬᎩ, ᏂᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᏙᏓᏰᏣᏬᏍᏔᏂ.
Then remembered I the word of Yahushua, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
17 ᎢᏳᏃ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᏁᎸᎯ ᏱᎩ ᎤᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏥᎩᏁᎸᎩ ᎠᏴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎡᏙᎢᏳᏅᎯ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ, ᎦᏙ ᎠᏴ ᎨᏎ ᏰᎵ ᎦᏥᏲᏍᏙᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏎ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ.
Forasmuch then as YHWH gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Master Yahushua the Messiah; what was I, that I could withstand YHWH?
18 ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏅᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎡᎳᏪ ᎤᏅᏁᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᎸᏉᏔᏁ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏂᏪᏎᎢ: ᎾᏍᏉᎧᏂ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏧᎾᏓᎴᏅᏛ ᏴᏫ ᏕᎤᏁᎸ ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛ ᏧᏂᏁᏟᏴᏍᏗᏱ ᎬᏂᏛ ᏩᎵᏱᎶᎯᎯ.
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified YHWH, saying, Then hath YHWH also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
19 ᎤᎾᏗᎦᎴᏲᏨᎯᏃ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎤᏲ ᏥᏄᎾᎵᏍᏓᏁᎴ, ᏨᏧᏓᎴᏅᎮ ᏍᏗᏫ, ᏈᏂᏏ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏭᏁᏙᎴᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏌᏈ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏘᎣᎩ, ᎠᏂᏧᏏᏉ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᏓᏂᏃᎮᎮᎮᎢ.
Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
20 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎢᎦᏛ ᏌᏈ ᎠᎴ ᏌᎵᏂ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎨᏎᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎥᏘᎣᎩ ᏭᏂᎷᏨ ᏚᏂᏬᏁᏔᏁ ᎠᏂᎪᎢ, ᎠᏂᏃᎮᏍᎨ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏌ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ.
And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, and preached concerning the Master Yahushua.
21 ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯᏃ ᎤᏬᏰᏂ ᏔᎵ ᎤᏛᏗᏕᎨᎢ, ᎤᏂᏤᏖᏃ ᎤᏃᎯᏳᏁᎢ, ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯᏃ ᎢᏗᏢ ᏭᎾᎦᏔᎲᏍᏔᏁᎢ.
And the hand of YHWH was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto YHWH.
22 ᏧᎾᏁᎶᏗᏃ ᎤᎾᏓᏡᎬ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᎠᏁᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᎤᎾᏛᎦᏁᎢ, ᎤᏂᏅᏎᏃ ᏆᏂᏆ ᎥᏖᎣᎩ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏭᏪᏓᏍᏗᏱ.
Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
23 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏭᎷᏨ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎪᎲ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏤᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏔᏲᏎᎴ ᏂᎦᏛ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏓᏗᏍᏗᏱ ᏧᏂᏂᏴᏗᏱ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ.
Who, when he came, and had seen the favour of YHWH, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto YHWH.
24 ᎤᏓᏅᏘᏰᏃ ᎨᏎ ᎠᏍᎦᏯ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎧᎵᏨᎯ ᎨᏎ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎠᎴ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ. ᎤᏂᏣᏖᏃ ᏴᏫ ᎬᏩᏁᏉᏤᎴ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ.
For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and much people was added unto YHWH.
25 ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏆᏂᏆ ᏓᏌ ᏭᎶᏎ ᎤᏲᎸᏎ ᏐᎳ;
Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
26 ᎤᏩᏛᎲᏃ ᎥᏖᎣᎩ ᎤᏘᏃᎴᎢ. ᎯᎠᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏁᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏑᏕᏘᏴᏛ ᎾᎿᎭᏧᎾᏁᎶᏗ ᎤᎾᏓᏡᎬ ᏓᏂᎳᏫᎨᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᏣᏖ ᏴᏫ ᏚᏁᏲᏁᎢ. ᎥᏖᎣᎩᏃ ᎢᎬᏱᏱ ᎠᏂᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎨᎪᏎᎴ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ.
And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the assembly, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Messianics first in Antioch.
27 ᎾᎯᏳᏃ ᏥᎷᏏᎵᎻ ᏅᏓᏳᏂᎶᏒᎯ ᎠᎾᏙᎴᎰᏍᎩ ᎤᏂᎷᏤ ᎥᏖᎣᎩ.
And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
28 ᎠᏏᏴᏫᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎡᎩᏩ ᏧᏙᎢᏛ ᏕᎤᎴᏁᎢ, ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎤᏩᏔᏁ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏄᏩᏁᎴ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎤᎪᏄᎶᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎬᎾᏛᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎩ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎦᎶᏗ ᏏᏌ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᎨᏒᎩ.
And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
29 ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩᏃ ᎠᏂᏏᏴᏫᎭ ᏰᎵ ᎢᎬᏩᎾᏛᏁᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏚᏄᎪᏔᏁ ᎤᎾᏓᏅᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᎾᎵᏍᏕᎸᏙᏗ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ ᏧᏗᏱ ᎠᏁᎯ.
Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
30 ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏄᎾᏛᏁᎴᎢ, ᏫᏚᏂᏁᎴ ᏗᎨᎦᏁᎶᏗ ᏆᏂᏆ ᎠᎴ ᏐᎳ ᏚᎾᎨᏅᏕᎢ.
Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
