1 ᎾᏂᎥ ᏗᎨᏥᎾᏝᎢ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎨᏥᎩᎳᎾᎳ ᏥᎩ ᎤᏣᏘ ᏧᏂᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏗᎬᏩᏂᎾᏝᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏚᏙᎥ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏤᎵ ᏗᏕᏲᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏐᏢᎯ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ.
Let, as many as are servants under a yoke, be counting, their own masters, worthy, of all honour, lest, the name of God and the teaching, be defamed.
2 ᎾᏃ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ ᏗᎬᏩᏂᎾᏝᎢ ᎨᏒ ᏞᏍᏗ ᏱᏚᏂᏂᏆᏘᎴᏍᏗ ᏱᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎪᎱᏍᏗᏍᎩᏂ ᏓᎾᏛᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎨᏥᎨᏳᎢ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᎾᏠᏯᏍᏗᏍᎩ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎾᎦᏛᏁᎸᎢ. ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᏕᎭᏕᏲᎲᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎯᏁᏤᎮᏍᏗ.
They, however, that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are, brethren but, the more, be doing them service, because, believing and beloved, are they who, from the good workmanship, receive advantage. These things, be teaching, and exhorting: —
3 ᎢᏳᏃ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏣᏘᏂ ᏂᎦᏪᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏏ ᎾᏰᎸᏍᎬᎾ ᎢᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎤᏬᏂᏒ ᎢᎦᏤᎵ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᏕᏲᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏗᏂᎶᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏥᏓᏕᏲᎲᏍᎦ;
If anyone doth otherwise teach, and doth not adhere to healthful discourses—those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the teaching that is, according to godliness,
4 ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎤᏢᏉᏗ, ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎾᎦᏔᎲᎾ, ᎤᎵᏰᏔᏁᎯ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ, ᎠᎴ ᏧᏘᏲᏌᏘ ᎠᎵᏃᎮᏍᎬᎢ, ᎾᎿᎭᏨᏗᏓᎴᎲᏍᎦ ᎠᏛᏳᎨᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏗᏒᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏐᏢᎢᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏗᏓᏕᎵᏎᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ,
He is beclouded, knowing, nothing, rightly, but is diseased about questionings, and word-battles—out of which spring envy, strife, defamations, wicked surmising,
5 ᎠᎴ ᎬᏍᎦᎢᏍᏓᎩ ᎤᏂᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏴᏫ ᎤᎪᏏᏛ ᏧᎾᏓᏅᏘ, ᎤᏂᏂᎩᏛ ᏚᏳᎪᏛᎢ, ᎨᏅᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏗᏁᎶᏙᏗ ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎠᏁᎵᏍᎩ. ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᎾᏍᏗ ᏕᎭᏓᏅᎡᎮᏍᏗ.
incessant quarrellings of men wholly corrupt in their mind and bereft of the truth, —supposing godliness to be, a means of gain!
6 ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᏗᏁᎶᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ ᎠᏓᏅᏓᏗᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎨᏅᎢᏍᏗ.
Now it is a great means of gain—godliness, with a sufficiency of one’s own;
7 ᏝᏰᏃ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏱᎩᏲᎴ ᎠᏂ ᎡᎶᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᎨᏳᎢᏳ Ꮭ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏴᎨᏗᏄᎪᏩ.
For, nothing, brought we into the world, neither, to take anything out, are we able; —
8 ᎢᏳᏃ ᏱᎩᎭ ᎠᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏗᎦᏄᏬ ᏱᏗᎩᎾᎠ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏰᎵᏉ ᎢᎩᏰᎸᏎᏍᏗ.
And, having sustenance and covering, we shall be content;
9 ᎤᎾᏚᎵᏍᎩᏍᎩᏂ ᏥᎩ ᎤᏁᏅᎢᏍᏗᏱ, ᎤᏓᎴᎾᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏌᏛ ᏫᏓᏂᏅᎪᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎢᏳᏓᎴᎩ ᎤᎵᏍᎦᏂᏍᏛ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏯᏓᏛᏁᎯ ᎠᎬᎥᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏚᏂᏃᏴᏘᏍᏗᎭ ᏴᏫ ᎾᎿᎭᎠᎩᎵᏲᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
But, they who are determined to be rich, fall into temptation, and a snare, and many foolish and hurtful covetings, the which, sink men into ruin and destruction, —
10 ᎠᏕᎸᏰᏃ ᏗᎨᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎾᎿᎭᏗᏓᎴᎲᏍᎦ ᏄᏓᎴᏒ ᎤᏲᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏂᎬᎥᏍᎬᎢ ᎤᎾᏞᏒ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏅᏒ ᏚᎾᏓᏘᏍᏔᏅ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎤᏲ ᎠᏓᏅᏓᏗᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
For, a root of all the vices, is the love of money, which, some, being eager for, have been seduced from the faith, and have pierced, themselves, about with many pangs.
11 ᏂᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎯᏍᎦᏯ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏕᎭᏓᏅᎡᎮᏍᏗ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎯᏍᏓᏩᏗᏎᏍᏗ ᏚᏳᎪᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎦᎾᏰᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓᎨᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᏗᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏓᏅᏘᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ.
But, thou, O man of God! from these things, flee! and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, meekness;
12 ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎲᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎠᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎭᎵᎮᏍᏗ. ᎾᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᎬᎾ ᎬᏂᏛ ᎨᏒ ᏘᏂᏴ, ᎾᎿᎭᎾᏍᏉ ᎡᏣᏯᏅᏛ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏣᏃᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏂᏣᏘ ᎠᏂᎦᏔᎯ ᎠᏂᏚᏔᎲᎢ. (aiōnios g166)
Be contesting the noble contest of the faith, —lay hold of the age-abiding life—unto which thou wast called, and didst make the noble confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 ᎬᏁᏤᎭ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᎦᏔᎲᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎬᏂᏗᏍᎩ ᏥᎩ ᏂᎦᎥ ᏄᎾᏓᎴᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᎦᏔᎲ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏆᏂᏗ ᏆᎴᏗ ᎠᎦᏔᎲ ᎤᏃᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ,
I charge thee, before God, who engendereth life in all things, and Christ Jesus, who, before Pontius Pilate, witnessed the noble confession,
14 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏣᏍᏆᏂᎪᏙᏗᏱ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ, ᏄᏓᏓᎸᎾ ᎠᎴ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎦᏰᏤᎵᏎᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎢᎦᏤᎵ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎦᎾᏄᎪᏥᎸ ᎬᏗᏍᎩ,
That thou keep the commandment without spot, free from reproach, until the forthshining of our Lord Jesus Christ—
15 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏨᎦᎾᏄᎪᏫᏏ ᎾᎯᏳ ᏧᎾᏄᎪᏫᏎᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ ᎤᏓᏅᏘ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏩᏒᎯ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎤᏂᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᏁᎲᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᏄᏂᎬᏫᏳᏌᏕᎩ ᎠᏁᎲᎢ;
Which, in its own fit times, the happy and only Potentate will shew—the King of them that reign, and Lord of them that wield lordship,
16 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏩᏒᎯ ᎠᏲᎱᎯᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎯ, ᎢᎦᎦᏛ ᎡᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎦᎦᏛ ᎾᎿᎭᎩᎶ ᎬᏩᎷᎯᏍᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎤᎪᎲᎩ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᎪᏩᏛᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎵᏂᎩᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏫᎾᏍᏛᎾ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ. ᎡᎺᏅ. (aiōnios g166)

17 ᎩᏁᏤᎮᏍᏗ ᏧᏁᎿᎭᎢ ᏥᎩ ᎠᏂ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎾᏢᏉᏗ ᏱᏉ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᎵᏍᎦᏍᏙᏙᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎤᏓᎵᏓᏍᏗ ᎨᏅᎢᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᎬᏂᏛ ᎠᎾᎵᏍᎦᏍᏙᏗᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏣᏘ ᎢᎩᏁᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎾᎦᎥ ᏄᏓᎴᏒ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎢᎦᎵᏍᏓᏁᏗ. (aiōn g165)
Upon them who are rich in the present age, lay thou charge—not to be high-minded, nor to have set their hope on, riches’, uncertainty, —but on God, who offereth us all things richly for enjoying, (aiōn g165)

To be doing good, to be rich in noble works, to be, generous in giving, ready for fellowship, —
19 ᎠᎾᏓᏁᎸᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᎤᏅᏒ ᎤᎾᏤᎵᎦ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎦᎫᏍᏛᏗ ᎠᏏ ᎾᏍᏆᎵᏍᎬᎾ ᎾᎯᏳ ᎤᏍᏆᎸᏗ ᏥᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᎬᎾ ᎬᏂᏛ ᏗᎬᏩᏂᏂᏴᏗ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ.
Treasuring up for themselves a good foundation for the future, that they may lay hold on the life [which is life] indeed.
20 ᏗᎹᏗ, ᏣᏍᏆᏂᎪᏕᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏤᏣᎨᏅᏴ, ᎢᏴᏛ ᏅᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᎦᏪᏢᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏎᏉᏉ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏗᏒᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎦᏙᎥᎯᏍᏗ ᏂᏚᏳᎪᏛᎾ ᏥᏚᏙᎥ;
O Timothy! that which hath been entrusted, do thou guard, avoiding the profane pratings and oppositions of falsely named knowledge, —
21 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎠᏂᏍᏓᏩᏗᏒ ᎤᎾᏞᏒ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ. [ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ] ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏕᏣᎧᏩᏗᏙᎮᏍᏗ. ᎡᎺᏅ.
Which, some professing, concerning the faith, have missed the mark! Favour be with you.
