< ᏉᎳ ᏧᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ ᎢᎬᏱᏱ ᏗᎹᏗ ᏧᏬᏪᎳᏁᎸᎯ 4 >

1 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎠᏓᏅᏙ ᎧᏁᎬ ᎬᏂᎨᏒᎢᏳ ᏂᎬᏁᎭ ᎤᎵᏍᏆᎸᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎩᎶ ᏧᏂᏲᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏓᎾᏛᏓᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᎤᎾᏠᎾᏍᏗ ᏗᏓᏅᏙ, ᎠᎴ ᏓᎾᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ ᎠᏂᏍᎩᎾ,
But the Spirit speaks expressly, that in latter times some shall apostatise from the faith, giving their mind to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons
2 ᎤᎾᏠᎾᏍᏛ ᎦᏰᎪᎩ ᎠᏂᏬᏂᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᏚᎾᏓᏅᏛ ᏗᎦᎴᏴᏔᏅᎯ ᏔᎷᎩᏍᎩ ᎤᏗᎴᎩ ᎬᏔᏅᎯ;
speaking lies in hypocrisy, cauterised as to their own conscience,
3 ᎤᏂᏅᏍᏙᏍᎨᏍᏗ ᏗᏨᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᏂᏁᎨᏍᏗ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᎠᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗ ᏗᏲᎯᏍᏗᏱ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏬᏢᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏨᎯᏉ ᏧᎾᏓᏂᎸᎢᏍᏗᏱ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏂᎦᏙᎥᏒᎯ ᏥᎩ ᏚᏳᎪᏛᎢ.
forbidding to marry, [bidding] to abstain from meats, which God has created for receiving with thanksgiving for them who are faithful and know the truth.
4 ᏂᎦᎥᏰᏃ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏪᏢᏅᎯ ᎨᏒ ᎣᏏᏳ, ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎠᏲᎢᏎᏗ ᏱᎩ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎤᎵᎮᎵᏍᏗ ᎣᏓᏅᏛ ᏱᏛᏓᏂᎸᎦ;
For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing [is] to be rejected, being received with thanksgiving;
5 ᎦᏓᎭᏰᏃ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎢᎬᏁᎸᎯ ᎬᏔᏅᎯ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏓᏙᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
for it is sanctified by God's word and freely addressing [him].
6 ᎢᏳᏃ ᎠᎾᎵᏅᏟ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᎩᏯᏅᏓᏗᏍᏔᏅ, ᎰᏍᏛ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎡᏣᏅᏏᏓᏍᏗ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ, ᎡᏤᎳᏍᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏥᎧᏃᎮᎭ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏗᏕᏲᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᏳᎳ ᏗᏣᏂᏴᏛ ᏥᎩ.
Laying these things before the brethren, thou wilt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished with the words of the faith and of the good teaching which thou hast fully followed up.
7 ᏕᏣᏲᎢᏎᎮᏍᏗᏍᎩᏂ ᎦᏪᏢᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎬᏙᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᎦᏴᎵᎨ ᎤᏂᏃᎮᎸᏗ ᏥᎩ; ᎠᎴ ᏣᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏗᏁᎶᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
But profane and old wives' fables avoid, but exercise thyself unto piety;
8 ᎠᏰᎸᎢᏰᏃ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ ᏗᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏍᏗᎩᏳ ᎠᏓᏍᏕᎵᎭ; ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏍᎩᏂ ᏗᏁᎶᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎤᎬᏩᎵ ᎬᏩᏓᏍᏕᎸᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᎠᏚᎢᏍᏗ ᎠᏥᏁᏗᏱ ᎬᏅ ᎪᎯ ᏥᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎵᏱᎶᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
for bodily exercise is profitable for a little, but piety is profitable for everything, having promise of life, of the present one, and of that to come.
9 ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎢᎦᏪᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏩᏍᏛ ᏧᏓᏂᎸᎢᏍᏗᏳ;
The word [is] faithful and worthy of all acceptation;
10 ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ ᏕᎩᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎭ ᎠᎴ ᎦᏰᎩᏐᏢᏗᎭ ᏅᏗᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎡᏓᎵᏍᎦᏍᏙᏛ ᎬᏂᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᏍᏕᎵᏍᎩ ᏥᎩ ᎾᏂᎥ ᏴᏫ, ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮀ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ.
for, for this we labour and suffer reproach, because we hope in a living God, who is preserver of all men, specially of those that believe.
11 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᎯᏁᎨᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᏕᎭᏕᏲᎲᏍᎨᏍᏗ.
Enjoin and teach these things.
12 ᏞᏍᏗ ᎩᎶ ᏳᏐᏅᏤᎴᏏᏗ ᎯᏫᏂᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎦᎨᏣᏕᎶᏆᎡᏗᏍᎩᏂ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᏃᎯᏳᎲᏍᎩ, ᎯᏬᏂᏍᎬᎢ ᎠᎴ ᏂᏣᏛᎿᎭᏕᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏣᏓᎨᏳᎡᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏣᏓᏅᏖᏗᏱ, ᎠᎴ ᏦᎯᏳᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎦᏓᎭ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ.
Let no one despise thy youth, but be a model of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
13 ᏫᏥᎷᏨᎭ ᎢᏯᏍᏘ ᏕᏣᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᎪᏪᎵ ᏕᎯᎪᎵᏰᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎯᏬᏁᏗᏍᎬᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᏕᎭᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬᎢ.
Till I come, give thyself to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.
14 ᏞᏍᏗ ᎤᏁᎳᎩ ᏤᎵᏒᎩ ᎡᏣᏁᎸᎯ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏣᎭ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎡᏣᏁᎸᎯ ᏥᎩ ᎠᏅᏗᏍᎬ ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏕᎨᏣᏏᏔᏛ ᏗᎨᎦᏁᎶᏗ.
Be not negligent of the gift [that is] in thee, which has been given to thee through prophecy, with imposition of the hands of the elderhood.
15 ᎾᏍᎩ ᏕᎭᏓᏅᏖᏍᎨᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩᏉ ᏕᏣᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏣᏁᏉᏤᎲ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏄᎾᎵᏍᏓᏁᎮᏍᏗ ᏂᎦᏛ.
Occupy thyself with these things; be wholly in them, that thy progress may be manifest to all.
16 ᏣᏓᎦᏌᏯᏍᏕᏍᏗ ᏨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏄᏍᏛ ᏕᎭᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏕᎯᏍᏓᏩᏗᏎᏍᏗ; ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᎿᎭᏛᏁᎲ ᏨᏒ ᏔᏓᏍᏕᎸᎯ ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎨᏣᏛᏓᏍᏓᏁᎯ ᏙᏘᏍᏕᎸᎯ.
Give heed to thyself and to the teaching; continue in them; for, doing this, thou shalt save both thyself and those that hear thee.
