< ᏉᎳ ᏧᏬᏪᎳᏅᎯ ᎢᎬᏱᏱ ᏗᎹᏗ ᏧᏬᏪᎳᏁᎸᎯ 1 >

1 ᎠᏴ ᏉᎳ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎠᎩᏅᏏᏛ ᎬᎩᏁᏤᎸᎯ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎢᎩᏍᏕᎵᏍᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏚᎩ ᎬᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎢᎦᏤᎵᎦ,
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
2 ᏫᎬᏲᏪᎳᏏ ᏘᎹᏗ ᎠᏋᏒ ᎠᏆᏤᎵ ᎠᏊᏥ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏩᏂᏌᏛ; ᎬᏩᎦᏘᏯ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏣᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ ᏕᏣᎧᎿᎭᏩᏗᏙᎮᏍᏗ ᏅᏓᏳᎾᎵᏍᎪᎸᏔᏅᎯ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎢᎩᏙᏓ ᎠᎴ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᎦᏤᎵᎦ.
Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
3 ᎾᏃ ᏥᎬᏔᏲᏎᎸᎩ ᏣᏗᎩᏯᏍᏗᏱ ᎡᏈᏌ, ᎹᏏᏙᏁ ᏥᏩᎩᎶᏒᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏘᏅᏍᏓᏕᏗᏱ ᎩᎶ ᏓᎾᏕᏲᎲᏍᎬ ᎤᏣᏘᏂ ᎢᏳᏂᏪᏍᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ,
As I besought you to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that you might charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
4 ᎠᎴ ᎤᎾᏛᏓᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎠᏎᏉ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏫᎾᏍᏛᎾ ᎧᏃᎮᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎾᏓᏁᏟᏴᏒᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗᏉ ᏥᏩᎵᏱᎶᎯᎭ ᎥᏲᏃ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏗᏁᎳᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᏛᎯᏍᏗᏱ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏨᏗᏓᎴᎲᏍᎦ, [ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎿᎭᏛᏁᎸᎭ.]
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
5 ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎠᏓᎨᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎬᏩᎳ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᏓᎭ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎣᎾᏫ ᏅᏓᏳᏓᎴᏅᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏗᎫᎪᏙᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏄᏠᎾᏍᏛᎾ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ;
Now the end of the commandment is love (agape) out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith sincere:
6 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᎿᎭᎩᎶ ᎤᎾᎪᎸᏛ ᏥᎩ, ᏄᎵᏌᎶᏛᎾ ᎦᏬᏂᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏭᎾᎦᏔᎲᏍᏔᏅ;
From which some having miss the mark have turned aside unto vain arguments;
7 ᎤᎾᏚᎵᏍᎬᎩ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏗᏃᏏᏏᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᎾᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎾᏃᎵᎬᎾ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎠᏂᏬᏂᏍᎬ, ᎠᎴ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎠᏂᏍᏓᏱᏗᏍᎬᎢ.
Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
8 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎢᏗᎦᏔᎭ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎣᏏᏳ ᎨᏒ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᎩᎶ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᏱᏓᎧᎿᎭᏩᏕᎦ,
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏯᎦᏔᎭ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎤᏓᏅᏘ ᏴᏫ ᎠᎪᏢᎾᏁᎸᎯ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗᏍᎩᏂ ᏂᏚᎾᏁᎶᏛᎾ, ᎠᎴ ᏄᏃᎯᏳᏒᎾ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏂᏚᎾᏁᎶᏛᎾ, ᎠᎴ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎾᎢ, ᎠᏂᎦᏓᎭᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎨᏒ ᎠᏂᏂᏆᏘᎯ, ᏧᏂᏙᏓ ᏗᏂᎯᎯ ᎠᎴ ᏧᏂᏥ ᏗᏂᎯᎯ, ᏴᏫ ᏗᏂᎯᎯ,
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 ᎤᏂᏁᎫᏥᏛ, ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ ᏗᎾᏂᏏᎲᏍᎩ, ᏴᏫ ᏗᏂᏃᏍᎩᏍᎩ, ᎠᏂᏰᎪᎩ, ᎦᏰᎪᎩ ᎠᎾᏎᎵᏛᏍᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎦᏘᎴᎩ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏗᏕᏲᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ;
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for men-stealers (slave traders, kidnappers), for liars, for promise breakers, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
11 ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎧᏃᎮᏛ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏅᏩᏙᎯᏯᏛ ᎡᎯ ᎤᏤᎵᎦ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏴ ᎥᏆᏒᎦᎶᏔᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ.
According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
12 ᎠᎴ ᏥᏯᎵᎡᎵᏤᎭ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏥᏌ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᎦᏤᎵ ᏣᏆᎵᏂᎪᎯᏍᏔᏅ, ᏰᎵᏉ ᎢᎬᏩᏛᏁᏗ ᏣᏇᎵᏎᎸ, ᏣᎩᏁᏤᎸ ᏗᎩᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗᏱ ᎠᎵᏥᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ,
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
13 ᎠᏴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎸᎯᏳ ᏥᏐᏢᏗᏍᎩ ᏥᎨᏒᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏗᎬᏁᎯ, ᎠᎴ ᏗᎦᏂᏐᏢᏗ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎥᎩᏙᎵᏨᎩ, ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏙᏗᏍᎬᎩ ᏂᏥᎦᏔᎿᎭᎥᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎾᏉᎯᏳᏒᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏆᏛᏁᎸᎢ.
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and prone to cause hurt: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
14 ᎠᎴ ᎬᏩᎦᏘᏯ ᎤᏓᏙᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᎦᏤᎵᎦ ᎤᏣᏔᏅᎯ ᎡᏉᎯᏳ ᎨᏒᎩ, ᎤᎵᏠᏯᏍᏛᎩ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏥᏌ ᏥᏲᎢᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎠᎴ ᏥᎨᏳᎢ, ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ.
And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love (agape) which is in Christ Jesus.
15 ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᎦᏪᏛ, ᎠᎴ ᏩᏍᏛ ᏧᏓᏂᎸᎢᏍᏗᏳ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᏥᏌ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎤᎷᏨᎢ, ᏚᏍᏕᎸᎯᎸ ᎠᏂᏍᎦᎾᎢ, ᎠᏴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᎩᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᏥᏍᎦᎾᎢ.
This is a faithful saying, (logos) and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
16 ᎠᏎᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏅᏓᏳᎵᏍᏙᏔᏅᎩ ᎥᎩᏙᎵᏨᎩ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏴ ᎨᏒ ᎾᎩᎬᏫᏳᏒ ᏥᏌ ᎦᎶᏁᏛ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᎢᏳᏩᏁᏗᏱ ᏩᏍᏛ ᎬᏂᏗᏳ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏧᎾᏟᎶᏍᏙᏗ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ ᎣᏂ ᎬᏬᎯᏳᏅᎯ ᎬᏂᏛ ᎠᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᎩ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᏫᏚᎷᎩ. (aiōnios g166)
Nevertheless for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. (aiōnios g166)
17 Ꭷ, ᎤᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎠᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᎩ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒ ᎡᎯ, ᎠᏲᎱᏍᎩ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎠᎪᏩᏛᏗ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ, ᎤᏩᏒᎯ ᎠᎦᏔᎿᎭᎢ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ, ᎦᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᎴ ᎦᎸᏉᏙᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏂᎪᎯᎸ ᎠᎴ ᏂᎪᎯᎸᎢ; ᎡᎺᏅ. (aiōn g165)
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏗᎦᎸᏫᏍᏓᏁᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏂᎯ ᏕᎬᏲᎯᏏ, ᎠᏇᏥ ᏗᎹᏗ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏄᏂᏪᏒ ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᏒ ᏂᎯ ᎨᏣᏃᎮᏍᎬᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏂᎯ ᎾᏍᎩᎾ ᏕᎲᏗᏍᎬ ᏯᎵᎦ ᎣᏍᏛ ᎠᎵᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ;
This charge I commit unto you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on you, that you by them might war a good warfare;
19 ᏕᏣᏂᏴᏒ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎣᏍᏛ ᏗᎫᎪᏙᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎩᎶ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎢᏳᏅᏁᏔᏅᎯ ᏥᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎪᎯᏳᏗ ᎨᏒ ᎬᏩᏂᏲᏥᏙᎸ;
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
20 ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏄᎾᏛᏁᎸ ᎭᎻᏂᏯ ᎠᎴ ᎡᎵᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏕᎦᏥᏲᏒ ᏎᏓᏂ ᏕᏥᏲᎯᏎᎸ ᎤᎾᏕᎶᏆᏍᏗᏱ ᎤᏂᏐᏢᏙᏗᏱ ᏂᎨᏒᎾ ᎨᏒᎢ.
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
