1 GAEASE nu guajo, O Yuus, gaease nu guajo; sa y antijo guinegüe güe guiya jago: magajet, y anineng y papamo ugogüeyo asta qui manmalofan y chinatsaga.
For the end. Destroy not: by David, for a memorial, when he fled from the presence of Saul to the cave. Have mercy, upon me, O God, have mercy upon me: for my soul has trusted in thee: and in the shadow of thy wings will I hope, until the iniquity have passed away.
2 Bae juagang si Yuus Gueftaquilo; si Yuus ni y jafatinas todo y güinaja para guajo.
I will cry to God most high; the God who has benefited me. (Pause)
3 Ufanago guinin y langet ya unalibreyo; anae jalalatde ayo y malago pumañotyo. (Sila) Si Yuus utago y minaaseña yan y minagajetña.
He sent from heaven and saved me; he gave to reproach them that trampled on me: God has sent forth his mercy and his truth;
4 Y antijo gaegue gui entalo y león sija: ya umaasonyo gui entalo ayo sija y minañila guafe, junggan, yan y lalajin taotao sija ni y nifenñija y lansa sija, yan flecha sija, ya y jilañija malagtos na espada.
and he has delivered my soul from the midst of [lions']whelps: I lay down to sleep, [though] troubled. [As for] the sons of men, their teeth are arms and [missile] weapons, and their tongue a sharp sword.
5 Nadangculojao gui jilo y langet, O Yuus; polo y inenramo todo gui sanjilo tano.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and thy glory above all the earth.
6 Jagas mamatinas laso, para y pinecatto; y antijo tumecon papa; jagas manmaguadog joyo gui menajo; ya sija mamodong maesaja gui taloloja. (Sila)
They have prepared snares for my feet, and have bowed down my soul: they have dug a pit before my face, and fallen into it [themselves]. (Pause)
7 Y corasonjo, esta meton, O Yuus, y corasonjo esta meton; bae jucanta, magajetja, jucanta alabansa sija.
My heart, O God, [is] ready, my heart [is] ready: I will sing, yea will sing psalms.
8 Fagmata, inenrajo; fagmata, guitala yan atpa; guajoja na maesa magmatayo taftaf.
Awake, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I will awake early.
9 Bae junaetjao grasias, O Jeova, gui entalo y taotao sija; jucantayejao alabansa sija gui entalo y nasion sija.
O Lord, I will give thanks to thee among the nations: I will sing to thee among the Gentiles.
10 Sa asta y langet, dangculo y minaasemo, yan asta y mapagajes y minagajetmo.
For thy mercy has been magnified even to the heavens, and thy truth to the clouds.
11 Nadangculojao gui jilo y langet, O Yuus; polo y minalagmo todo gui sanjilo y tano.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and thy glory above all the earth.
