1 GAEASE nu guajo, O Yuus, jaftaemanoja y minauleg güinaeyamo, jaftaemanoja y minegae y minaasemo; fuñas y tinaelayeco.
To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David. When Nathan the Prophet had come to him, after he had gone in unto Bath-sheba. Be favorable unto me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness, And, in the multitude of thy compassions, blot out my transgressions;
2 Gosfagaseyo todo ni y tinaelayeco, ya unnagasgasyo ni y isaojo.
Thoroughly wash me from mine iniquity, And, from my sin, make me pure;
3 Sa jutungoja y tinaelayeco: ya y isaojo gaegueja siempre gui menajo.
For, my transgressions, do, I, acknowledge, And, my sin, is before me continually:
4 Sa contra jago, jagoja, juisagüe, ya jufatinas y daño gui menan matamo: para utunas yanguin cumuentosjao, ya utaefatta yanguin manjusgajao.
Against thee—against thee alone, have I sinned, And, wickedness—in thine eyes, have I done, —That thou mayest, Be justified when thou speakest, —Be clear when thou judgest.
5 Estagüeja, na mafatinasyo gui tinaelaye, yan y isao nae si nanajo mumapotguenaejonyo.
Lo! in iniquity, was I brought forth, And, in sin, did my mother conceive me.
6 Estagüeja, na unguaeya y magajet guiya jalolom; ya y umatog na lugat nae unnatungoyo ni y tiningo.
Lo! faithfulness, hast thou desired in the inward parts, Yea, in the hidden part, wilt thou cause me to know, wisdom.
7 Nagasgasyo ni hisopo, ya jumuyong gasgas: fagaseyo ya jumuyong apacaña, qui y niebe.
Wilt thou cleanse me from sin with hyssop, That I may be pure? Wilt thou wash me, That I may be whiter, than snow?
8 Nafanjungogyo minagof yan y alegria para ufanmagof y telangjo ni y unyamag.
Wilt thou cause me to hear joy and gladness? The bones thou hast crushed would exult.
9 Naatog y matamo gui isaojo; ya unfunas todo y inechongjo.
Hide thy face from my sins, —And, all mine iniquities, blot out;
10 Fatinas gui sumanjalomjo y gasgas na corason, O Yuus; ya unnanuebo y tinas na espiritu gui sumanjalomjo.
A pure heart, create for me, O God, And, a steadfast spirit, renew within me.
11 Chamo yumuyuteyo gui menamo; yan chamo chumuchule y santos na Espiritumo guiya guajo.
Do not cast me away from thy presence, And, thy Holy Spirit, do not take from me:
12 Natalo mague guiya guajo y minagof y satbasionmo: ya unmantieneyo ni y libre na Espiritumo.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, And, with a willing spirit, wilt thou uphold me: —
13 Ayo nae jufanagüe y manaelaye ni y chalanmo: ya y maniisao ufanmañotsot guiya jago.
I would teach transgressors thy ways, And, sinners, unto thee, should return.
14 Nalibreyo gui isao gui jâgâ, O Yuus, jago Yuus y satbasinojo; ya y jilajo ucanta agang ni y tininasmo.
Rescue me from shed-blood, O God, the God of my salvation, My tongue should shout thy righteousness;
15 O Jeova, baba y labiosso: ya y pachotto ufamanue ni y matunamo.
O My Lord! my lips, wilt thou open, And, my mouth, shall declare thy praise.
16 Sa ti yamo inefrese para junaejao; ti magofjao ni y inefresen sinenggue.
For thou wilt not desire sacrifice—that I should give it, Ascending-offering, will not please:
17 Y inefrese para si Yuus, manmayamag na espiritu: y mayamag yan y pinite na corason, O Yuus, jago siempre ti undespresia.
The sacrifices of God, are a spirit that is broken, —A heart—broken and crushed, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Fatinas mauleg, ni y minauleg minagofmo, guiya Sion; fatinas y quelat Jerusalem.
Do good, in thy good-pleasure, unto Zion, Wilt thou build the walls of Jerusalem!
19 Ayo nae unmagof ni y inefresen tininas, y inefresen sinenggue yan y cabales na inefresen sinenggue: Ayo nae unmaofrese nubiyo gui attatmo.
Then, shalt thou desire the sacrifices of righteousness, Ascending-sacrifice and whole burnt-offering, Then, shall ascend upon thine altar, young bulls.
