< San Mateo 7 >

1 CHAMIYO fanmanjusga para ti infanmajusga.
JUDGE not, that you be not judged.
2 Sa taemanoja yan manmajusga yan manmañogne jamyo, taegüijija locue infanmajusga; ya taemanoja y minedidamiyo, taegüijija locue infanmamediye.
For with the judgment that you judge, you shall be judged; and with the measure that you mete, it shall be measured to you.
3 Sa jafa muna unlilie y migo gui atadog y chelumo, ya ti unjajaso y jayo gui atadogmo?
But why dost thou look at the rod that is in thy brother's eye, while the rafter that is in thine own eye thou dost not consider?
4 Jafa taemano unalog nu y chelumo: Maela ya junajanao enao y migo gui atadogmo; ya enagüija y jayo gui atadogmo?
Or how sayest thou to thy brother, Permit that I draw forth the rod from thine eye, and, behold, there is a rafter in thine own eye?
5 Hipocrita!
Hypocrite! draw forth first the rafter from thine own eye, and then thou wilt see to draw forth the rod from thy brother's eye.
Give not the holy unto dogs, and throw not your precious stones before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 Gagao ya infanmanae; aligao ya inseda; yajo ya infanmababaye.
Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
8 Sa jayeja y mangagao, uresibe; ya y manaligao, usoda; ya y manyajo, umababaye.
For every one who asketh receiveth, and he who seeketh findeth; and to him who knocketh it is opened.
9 Ya jayeja guiya jamyo, yaguin uguinagao nu y lajiña pan, ada unnae acho?
Or what man from among you, who if his son shall ask bread, will reach forth a stone to him?
if a fish he shall ask of him, a serpent will he reach forth to him?
If, therefore, you who are evil know to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?
12 Enao mina, jaftaemano y malagomiyo na y taotao ufatitinas nu jamyo, taegüijija infatitinas locue nu sija; sa este y lay yan y profeta sija.
All therefore that you will that men shall do unto you, so also do you unto them: for this is the law and the prophets.
ENTER in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and spacious the way, that conducteth to destruction; and they are many who go therein.
How small is the gate, and narrow the way, that leadeth unto salvation; and they are few who find it!
15 Adaje jamyo nu y ti manmagajet na profeta, ni ufanmato guiya jamyo maninagagon quininilo, lao y sanjalomñija mangaegue lobo na mañaque.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but within are ravening wolves.
16 Injatingo pot y tinegchañija. Ada y taotao ufañule ubas guine y títucan jayo, pat igos guine y títucan chaguan?
By their fruits you shall know them. Do they gather from thorns grapes, or from briers figs?
17 Taegüijija todo y mauleg na trongcon jayo, siempre mauleg tinegchaña; lao y taelaye na trongcon jayo, siempre taelaye tinegchaña.
So every good tree maketh good fruits; but an evil tree maketh evil fruits.
A good tree cannot make evil fruits, nor an evil tree make good fruits.
Every tree that maketh not good fruits is cut down, and falleth into the fire.
20 Enao mina pot y tinegchañija, injatingo.
Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.
21 Ti todo y umalog nu guajo: Señot! Señot! ujalom gui raenon langet; lao ayo y fumatinas y minalago y tatajo, ni y gaegue gui langet.
Not every one that saith to me, My Lord, my Lord, entereth into the kingdom of heaven; but he who doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22 Megae, güije na jaane, ualog nu guajo: Señot! Señot! ada ti inprofetisa pot y naanmo, yan innajanao y anite pot y naanmo, yan infatinas megae námanman na chocho pot y naanmo?
Multitudes will say to me in that day My Lord, my Lord, in thy name have we not prophesied, and in thy name ejected devils, and in thy name performed many mighty works?
And then will I confess to them, I never knew you; go far from me, ye workers of iniquity.
24 Enao mina jayeja y jumungog este sija y sinanganjo ya fumatinas, güiya parejo yan y méjnalom na taotao, na jafatinas y guimaña gui jilo acho;
Every one therefore who heareth these my words, and doeth them, shall be likened to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock.
And the rain descended, and the torrents came, and the winds blew, and rushed against that house, but it fell not, for its foundations were placed upon the rock.
26 Lao jayeja y jumungog este sija y sinanganjo, ya ti fumatinas, güiya parejo yan y bábaba na taotao na jafatinas y guimaña gui jilo unae;
And every one who heareth these my words, and doeth them not, shall be likened to a man who built his house upon sand.
And the rain descended, and the torrents came, and the winds blew, and rushed against that house, and it fell, and the ruin of it was great.
And when Jeshu had finished these words, the multitudes wondered at his doctrine.
For he taught them as one having power, and not as their scribes and the Pharishee.
