< San Mateo 4 >

1 AYO nae quinene si Jesus ni Espiritu para y jalomtano para umatienta ni anite;
Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.
2 Ya estaba umayunat cuarenta na jaane yan cuarenta na puenge ya despues ñalang.
And having fasted days forty and nights forty afterward He was hungry.
3 Ya mato guiya güiya y manienienta, ya ilegña: Yaguin jago lajin Yuus, tago este y acho ya ufamapan.
And having come the [one] tempting he said to Him; If Son You are of God, (do speak *NK+O) that stones these loaves of bread may become.
4 Güiya manope ilegña: Matugue esta: Ti y panja uninalâlâ y taotao, lao y todo y sinangan ni y jumuyong gui pachot Yuus.
But answering He said; It has been written: Not by bread alone will live (the *no) man, but (by *NK+o) every declaration coming out through [the] mouth of God.’
5 Ayo nae ninamalofan ni anite gui santa na siuda; pinelo gui jilo torren diquique, iyon y templo.
Then takes Him the devil to the holy city and (set *N+kO) Him upon the pinnacle of the temple
6 Y ilegña: Yaguin jago lajin Yuus, yutejao güine papa, sa matugue esta: Y angjet sija uninadje ya unquinajat ni canaeñija, para chaña y adengmo umatotpe contra y acho.
and says to him; If Son You are of God, do throw Yourself down; it has been written for that To the angels of Him He will give orders concerning You, and in [their] hands will they bear up You otherwise otherwise You may strike against a stone the foot of You.’
7 Si Jesus ilegña: Locue esta matugue, chamo tietienta y Señot, Yuusmo.
was saying to him Jesus; Again it has been written: Not you will test [the] Lord the God of you.’
8 Tumalo ninamalofan ni anite gui un sabana na sentáquilo ya jafanue todo y raeno sija gui jilo y tano yan y minagofñija,
Again takes Him the devil to a mountain high exceedingly and shows to Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them
9 Ya ilegña: Todo este sija junaejao yaguin dumimojao ya unadora yo.
and (he says *N+kO) to Him; These things to You all will I give, if falling down You shall worship me.
10 Ayonae si Jesus ilegña nu güiya: Janao Satanas, sa matugue esta, y Señot Yuusmo na güiyaja unadora yan güiyaja unsetbe.
Then says to him Jesus; do go away (behind me *O) Satan; it has been written for: [The] Lord the God of you you will worship and Him alone will you serve.’
11 Ayo nae diningo ni anite, ya y angjet sija manmato ya masetbe güe.
Then leaves Him the devil, and behold angels came and they were ministering to Him.
12 Anae jajungog si Jesus na si Juan esta mapongle, tumalo guato Galilea.
Having heard now (Jesus *k) that John was delivered up He withdrew into Galilee.
13 Ya jadingo Nasaret, mato Capernaum ya sumaga gui oriyan tase gui oriyan tanon Sabulon yan Neftalim.
And having left Nazareth, having come he dwelt at Capernaum which [is] on the sea-side in [the] region of Zebulun and of Naphtali,
14 Para umacumple y guinin jasangan y profeta Isaias, na ilegña:
that it may be fulfilled that having been spoken through Isaiah the prophet saying:
15 Y tano Sabulon yan y tano Neftalim, chalan tase yan para otro banda guiya Jordan, Galilea y Gentiles.
Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, way of [the] sea beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles —
16 Ya y taotao sija nu y mañasaga gui jemjom, dangculo na manana liniiñija; y ayo sija nu y mañasaga tanon anineng y finatae, candet ufaninina.
The nation the [one] sitting in (darkness *NK+o) light have seen great, and to those sitting in [the] land and in a shadow of death a light has dawned on them.
17 Desde ayo jatutujon si Jesus sumetmon ya ilegña: Fanmañotsot, sa y raenon langet jijijot.
From that time began Jesus to proclaim and to say; do repent; has drawn near for the kingdom of the heavens.
18 Ya anae jumajanao si Jesus gui tasen Galilea, jalie dos chumelo; si Simon mafanaan Pedro yan si Andres cheluña, na janatutunog y lagua gui tase sa manpescadot.
Walking now (Jesus *k) beside the Sea of Galilee He saw two brothers, Simon the [one] being named Peter and Andrew the brother of him casting a net into the sea; they were for fishermen.
19 Ya ilegña nu sija: Dalalag yo ya junafanpescadot taotao jamyo.
And He says to them; Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.
20 Sija japolo y lagua sija ya madalalag güe.
And immediately having left the nets they followed Him.
21 Anae jumanao güije, jalie otro dos chumelo, si Santiago lajin Sebedeo, yan si Juan cheluña, gui sajyan yan si tatañija as Sebedeo na jalememenda y laguañija; ya jaagang.
And having gone on from there He saw others two brothers, James the [son] of Zebedee and John the brother of him in the boat with Zebedee the father of them mending the nets of them, and He called them.
22 Sija enseguidas japolo y sajyan yan si tatañija ya madalalag güe.
And immediately having left the boat and the father of them they followed Him.
23 Ya jalilicue si Jesus iya Galilea mamanagüe gui sinagoga sija ya sumetmetmon ni raenon y evangelio, ya janafanjomlo todo y chetnot yan todo y pinite gui taotao;
And He was going (through *no) (all Galilee *N+kO) (Jesus *ko) teaching in the synagogues of them and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
24 Ya y matunaña matungo todo guiya Siria; ya maquenenee güe guato todo manmalango, ni guaja todo clasen chetnot yan pinite; y maninanite yan y manbababa yan y manparalitico; ya janafanjomlo.
And went out the news of Him into all Syria; And they brought to Him all the sick having various diseases and by pains oppressing, and those being demonised and those being epileptic and those paralytic; and He healed them.
25 Ya madalalag güe linajyan taotao, guinin Galilea, yan guinin Decapolis, yan guinin Jerusalem, yan guinin Judea, yan y otro banda guiya Jordan.
And followed Him crowds great from Galilee and [the] Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and beyond the Jordan.
