Mga Salmo 137

1 Haduol sa mga suba sa Babilonia, Didto kami nanaglingkod, oo, nanaghilak kami, Sa nahinumdum kami sa Sion.

By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

2 Sa ibabaw sa mga tangbo didto sa kinataliwad-an niini Gipamitay namo ang among mga alpa.

Upon the willows in the midst thereof we hanged up our harps.

3 Kay didto, (sila) nga mingdala kanamo nga mga binihag, nanagpangayo kanamo ug mga awit, Ug (sila) nga nanagsakit kanamo nanagpangayo kanamo ug kalipay, nga nagaingon: Awiti kami ug usa sa mga awit sa Sion.

For there they that led us captive required of us songs, and they that wasted us [required of us] mirth, [saying], Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

4 Unsaon namo sa pag-awit sa alawiton ni Jehova Sa yuta nga dili amo?

How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a strange land?

5 Kong mahikalimot ako kanimo, Oh Jerusalem, Pahikalimti sa akong toong kamot ang iyang pagkabatid.

If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget [her cunning].

6 Papilita ang akong dila sa alingagngag sa akong baba, Kong ako dili mahinumdum kanimo; Kong ang Jerusalem dili ko palabihon Ibabaw sa akong dakung kalipay.

Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I remember thee not; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

7 Hinumdumi, Oh Jehova, batok a mga anak sa Edom Ang adlaw sa Jerusalem; Nga nanag-ingon: Gun-oba siya, gunoba siya, Bisan hangtud ngadto sa mga patukoranan niana.

Remember, O LORD, against the children of Edom the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.

8 Oh anak nga babaye sa Babilonia, ikaw nga pagalaglagon, Malipayon siya, nga magabalus kanimo Ingon sa imong pag-alagad kanamo.

O daughter of Babylon, that art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.

9 Magamalipayon siya nga magakuha ug magasalibay sa imong mga kabataan Batok sa bato.

Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the rock.
