Job 42

1 Unya si Job mitubag kang Jehova, ug miingon:

Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

2 Ako nahibalo nga ang tanang mga butang mahimo nimo, Ug nga walay tuyo nimo nga kapugngan.

I know that thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be restrained.

3 Kinsa ba kini nga nagatabon sa kaalam sa pagkawalay kahibalo? Busa nakasulti ako niadto nga wala ko hisabti, Mga butang nga makapahibulong kaayo kanako, nga wala ko matugkad.

Who is this that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that which I understood not, things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

4 Pamati, ipakilooy ko kanimo, ug ako mosulti; Magapangutana ako karon kanimo, ug magapahayag ka kanako.

Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

5 Nakadungog ako mahitungod kanimo tungod sa pagpamati sa igdulungog; Apan karon, nakita ko ikaw sa akong mata:

I had heard of thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth thee,

6 Tungod niini, gingil-aran ako sa akong kaugalingon, Ug ako maghinulsol sa abug ug abo.

Wherefore I abhor [myself], and repent in dust and ashes.

7 Ug nahitabo nga sa tapus ikasulti kining mga pulonga ni Jehova kang Job, si Jehova miingon kang Eliphaz nga Timanitanhon: Ang akong kasuko nasugniban batok kanimo ug sa duruha mo ka mga higala: kay kamo wala magsulti sa matarung bahin kanako, ingon kang Job nga nagsulti sa matarung.

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

8 Busa karon, magkuha kamo ug pito ka nating vaca nga lake ug pito ka carnero, ug umadto kang Job nga akong alagad, ug maghalad kamo tungod kaninyo sa usa ka halad-nga sinunog; ang akong alagad nga si Job maoy mag-ampo tungod kaninyo; kay siya akong pagadawaton, sanglit dili ako magbuhat alang kaninyo sumala sa inyong binuang; kay kamo wala magsulti sa matarung mahitungod kanako, sama kang Job nga sa matarung nagsulti.

Now therefore, take unto you seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you; for him will I accept, that I deal not with you after your folly; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

9 Busa si Eliphaz, ang Timanitanhon, ug si Bildad, ang Suhitanhon, ug si Sophar, ang Naamatitanhon, nanlakaw, ug naghimo sumala sa sugo ni Jehova kanila: ug si Job gidawat ni Jehova.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: and the LORD accepted Job.

10 Sa diha nga si Job nag-ampo tungod sa iyang mga higala, gikuha ni Jehova ang iyang sakit: ug si Jehova mihatag kang Job ug bahandi duha ka pilo kay sa una.

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: and the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

11 Unya miduol kaniya ang iyang tanang mga kaigsoonan nga lalake, ug ang iyang tanang kaigsoonan nga babaye, ug ang tanan nga kaniadto iyang kaila, ug sa iyang balay nangaon uban kaniya: ug sila nangasubo kaniya, ug naglipay kaniya tungod sa tanan nga kadaut nga gipadangat kaniya ni Jehova: ang tagsatagsa usab ka tawo naghatag kaniya ug usa ka book nga salapi, ug ang tagsatagsa usa ka book nga singsing bulawan.

Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him concerning all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one a ring of gold.

12 Busa ang ulahi nga panahon ni Job gipanalanginan ni Jehova labaw pa kay sa iyang una nga panahon: ug siya may napulo ug upat ka libo nga carnero, ug unom ka libo nga camello, ug usa ka libo nga vaca nga igdadaro, ug usa ka libo nga asno nga baye.

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: and he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.

13 Siya may pito ka anak nga lalake ug totolo ka anak nga babaye usab.

He had also seven sons and three daughters.

14 Ug ang anak nga kamagulangan iyang gihinganlan ug Jemima; ang ngalan sa ikaduha Cesia; ug ang ngalan sa ikatulo si Keren-happuch.

And he called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.

15 Ug sa tibook nga yuta walay babaye nga nakita nga sama sa kaanyag sa mga anak nga babaye ni Job: ug ang ilang amahan naghatag kanila ug kabilin uban sa ilang mga igsoong lalake.

And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

16 Ug sa tapus niini si Job nagpuyo ug usa ka gatus ug kap-atan ka tuig, ug siya nakasud-ong sa iyang mga anak, ug sa iyang mga anak hangtud sa upat ka kaliwatan.

And after this Job lived an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, [even] four generations.

17 Busa si Job namatay, tigulang na ug dunay pagkadaghan sa mga adlaw.

So Job died, being old and full of days.
