Jeremias 25
1 Mao kini ang mga pulong nga miabot kang Jeremias mahitungod sa tanang katawhan sa Juda. Nahitabo kini sa ikaupat nga tuig nga si Jehoyakim ang anak nga lalaki ni Josia, ang hari sa Juda. Mao kadto ang unang tuig sa paghari ni Nebucadnezar, ang hari sa Babilonia.
The word that came to Ieremiah, concerning all the people of Iudah in the fourth yeere of Iehoiakim the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah that was in the first yeere of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel:
2 Gimantala kini ni Jeremias nga propeta sa tanang katawhan sa Juda ug sa tanang lumolupyo sa Jerusalem.
The which Ieremiah the Prophet spake vnto all the people of Iudah, and to all the inhabitants of Ierusalem, saying,
3 Miingon siya, “Sulod sa 23 ka tuig, sukad sa ika-13 nga tuig sa paghari ni Josia ang anak nga lalaki ni Amon, ang hari sa Juda hangtod niining adlawa, miabot kanako ang pulong ni Yahweh ug gibalikbalik ko kini sa pagsugilon kaninyo, apan wala gayod kamo maminaw.
From the thirteenth yeere of Iosiah the sonne of Amon King of Iudah, euen vnto this day (that is the three and twentieth yeere) the word of the Lord hath come vnto mee, and I haue spoken vnto you rising earely and speaking, but ye woulde not heare.
4 Gipadala ni Yahweh sa makadaghan nganha kaninyo ang tanan niyang mga sulugoon nga mao ang mga propeta, apan wala gayod kamo naminaw ni nanumbaling.
And the Lord hath sent vnto you all his seruantes the Prophets, rising early and sending them, but yee would not heare, nor encline your eares to obey.
5 Miingon kining mga propeta, “Kinahanglan mobiya ang tagsatagsa ka tawo gikan sa iyang pagkadaotan ug sa malaw-ay niyang mga binuhatan ug balik sa yuta nga gihatag na kaniadto ni Yahweh ngadto sa inyong mga katigulangan ug alang kaninyo, ingon nga makanunayong gasa.
They sayde, Turne againe now euery one from his euill way, and from the wickednes of your inuentions, and ye shall dwell in the lande that the Lord hath giuen vnto you, and to your fathers for euer and euer.
6 Busa ayaw kamo pagsunod sa laing mga dios sa pagsimba kanila o sa pagyukbo kanila, ug ayaw ninyo siya hagita pinaagi sa buhat sa inyong mga kamot aron dili niya kamo silotan.'
And go not after other gods to serue them and to worshippe them, and prouoke me not to anger with the workes of your hands, and I will not punish you.
7 Apan wala kamo naminaw kanako—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—tungod niana gihagit hinuon ninyo ako pinaagi sa buhat sa inyong mga kamot aron masilotan kamo.
Neuerthelesse ye would not heare me, saith the Lord, but haue prouoked mee to anger with the workes of your hands to your owne hurt.
8 Busa miingon niini si Yahweh nga labawng makagagahom, 'Tungod kay wala man ninyo paminawa ang akong mga pulong,
Therefore thus saith the Lord of hostes, Because ye haue not heard my wordes,
9 tan-awa, pasugoan ko nga tigomon ang tanang katawhan sa amihanan—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—pinaagi kang Nebucadnezar nga akong sulugoon, ang hari sa Babilonia, ug ipasulong ko sila batok niining yutaa ug sa mga lumolupyo niini, ug batok sa tanang kasikbit nga kanasoran diha kaninyo. Kay lainon ko sila sa kalaglagan. Himoon ko silang kahadlokan, biaybiayon, ug walay kataposang paggun-ob.
Beholde, I will send and take to mee all the families of the North, saith the Lord, and Nebuchad-nezzar the King of Babel my seruant, and will bring them against this lande, and against the inhabitantes thereof, and against all these nations rounde about, and will destroy them, and make them an astonishment and an hissing, and a continuall desolation.
10 Pahilumon ko ang kasaba sa kalipay ug sa pagmaya, ang kabanha sa pamanhonon ug sa pangasaw-onon, ang tingog sa mga galingan ug palungon ko ang kahayag sa lampara.
Moreouer I will take from them the voyce of mirth and the voyce of gladnesse, the voyce of the bridegrome and the voyce of the bride, the noise of the milstones, and the light of the candle.
11 Unya kining yutaa mahimong awaaw ug kahadlokan, ug kining mga nasora mag-alagad sa hari sa Babilonia sulod sa 70 ka tuig.
And this whole land shalbe desolate, and an astonishment, and these nations shall serue the King of Babel seuentie yeeres.
12 Unya mahitabo kini nga sa dihang matapos na ang 70 ka tuig, silotan ko ang hari sa Babilonia ug ang siyudad nga yuta sa Caldeanhon—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—tungod sa ilang mga sala ug mahimo kining awaaw hangtod sa hangtod.
And when the seuentie yeres are accomplished, I will visite the King of Babel and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquities, euen the land of the Caldeans, and will make it a perpetuall desolation,
13 Unya ipahamtang ko batok nianang yutaa ang akong gipanulti, ug ang tanang nahisulat sa libro nga gipanagna ni Jeremias batok sa tanang kanasoran.
And I will bring vpon that lande all my wordes which I haue pronounced against it, euen all that is written in this booke, which Ieremiah hath prophecied against all nations.
14 Uliponon usab sila sa ubang kanasoran ug bantogang mga hari. Panimaslan ko sila sa ilang mga nabuhat ug sa gibuhat sa ilang mga kamot.”'
For many nations, and great Kings shall euen serue themselues of them: thus will I recompense them according to their deedes, and according to the workes of their owne handes.
15 Kay miingon niini kanako si Yahweh, ang Dios sa Israel, “Kuhaa kining kupa sa bino sa kapungot gikan sa akong kamot ug paimna niini ang tanang kanasoran nga paadtoan ko kanimo.
For thus hath the Lord God of Israel spoken vnto me, Take the cuppe of wine of this mine indignation at mine hand, and cause all the nations, to whome I sende thee, to drinke it.
16 Kay kung makainom masupinday dayon sila, ug mangabuang gumikan sa akong gipadala nga espada nganha kanila.”
And they shall drinke, and be moued and be mad, because of the sworde that I will sende among them.
17 Busa gidawat ko ang kupa sa bino gikan sa kamot ni Yahweh, ug gipainom ko ang tanang kanasoran nga gipaadtoan kanako ni Yahweh:
Then tooke I the cup at the Lordes hand, and made all people to drinke, vnto whome the Lord had sent me:
18 sa Jerusalem, sa mga siyudad sa Juda, sa mga hari niini, ug sa mga opisyal—aron malaglag sila ug kahadlokan, ug biaybiayon ug tinunglo, sama sa nahitabo kanila sa kasamtangang panahon.
Euen Ierusalem, and the cities of Iudah, and the Kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them desolate, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse, as appeareth this day:
19 Ang ubang mga nasod gipainom usab niini: si Faraon nga hari sa Ehipto ug ang iyang mga ulipon; ang iyang mga opisyal ug ang tanan niyang katawhan;
Pharaoh also, King of Egypt, and his seruants, and his princes, and all his people:
20 ang tanang katawhan nga nagkasagol ang kaliwatan ug ang tanang hari sa yuta sa Uz; ang tanang hari sa Filistia—sa Ashkelon, sa Gaza, sa Ekron, ug ang nahibiling bahin sa Ashdod;
And all sortes of people, and all the Kings of the lande of Vz: and all the Kings of the lande of the Philistims, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod:
21 sa Edom ug sa Moab ug ang katawhan sa Amon.
Edom, and Moab, and the Ammonites,
22 Ang mga hari sa Tyre ug sa Sidon, ang mga hari sa mga baybayon sa pikas bahin sa dagat,
And all the Kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the Kings of the Yles, that are beyonde the Sea,
23 sa Dedan, sa Tema, ug sa Buz uban ang tanang katawhan nga nagpatupi, kinahanglan paimnon usab sila niini.
And Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that dwell in the vttermost corners,
24 Mao usab kini ang mga tawo nga moinom niini: ang tanang hari sa Arabia ug ang mga hari sa katawhan nga nagkasagol ang kaliwatan nga nagpuyo sa kamingawan;
And all the Kings of Arabia, and all the Kings of Arabia, that dwell in the desert,
25 ang tanang hari sa Zimri, ang tanang hari sa Elam, ug ang tanang hari sa Medes;
And all the Kings of Zimri, and all the Kings of Elam, and all the Kings of the Medes,
26 ang tanang hari sa amihanan, ang mga katawhan nga duol ug lagyo—ang tanang katawhan nga uban sa iyang igsoong lalaki ug ang tanang mga gingharian sa kalibotan nga anaa ibabaw sa yuta. Sa kataposan ang hari sa Babilonia ang gipainom human nilang tanan.
And all the Kings of the North, farre and neere one to another, and all the kingdomes of the worlde, which are vpon the earth, and the king of Sheshach shall drinke after them.
27 Miingon si Yahweh kanako, “Karon kinahanglan sultihan mo sila, 'Si Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom, ang Dios sa Israel, miingon niini: Inom hangtod mahubog, unya magsuka, mangatumba, ug dili na makabangon tungod sa espada nga ipadangat ko diha kaninyo.''
Therefore say thou vnto them, Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Drinke and bee drunken, and spewe and fall, and rise no more, because of the sworde, which I will sende among you.
28 Unya kung mahitabo nga magdumili sila sa pagdawat sa kupa nga anaa sa imong kamot aron imnon, sultihi sila, 'Si Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom miingon niini: Kinahanglan moinom gayod kamo niini.
But if they refuse to take the cuppe at thine hande to drinke, then tell them, Thus saith the Lord of hostes, Ye shall certainely drinke.
29 Kay tan-awa, ipahamtang ko na ang katalagman sa siyudad nga gitawag pinaagi sa akong ngalan, ug makalingkawas ba kamo gikan sa silot? Dili gayod kamo makalingkawas, kay pahamtangan ko ug espada ang tanang lumolupyo niining yutaa! —mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom.'
For loe, I beginne to plague the citie, where my Name is called vpon, and shoulde you goe free? Ye shall not goe quite: for I will call for a sword vpon al the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hostes.
30 Kinahanglan ipanagna mo kining mga pulong batok kanila, ug isulti ngadto kanila, 'Modahunog ang tingog ni Yahweh gikan sa kahitas-an ug mosinggit gikan sa iyang balaang dapit, ug modahunog gayod ang iyang tingog batok sa iyang katawhan; ug mosinggit siya batok sa tanan nga nagpuyo sa kalibotan, sama niadtong mga katawhan nga nagpuga sa mga ubas.
Therefore prophecie thou against them al these words, and say vnto them, The Lord shall roare from aboue, and thrust out his voyce from his holy habitation: he shall roare vpon his habitation, and crie aloude, as they that presse the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
31 Ang tingog sa pagpakiggubat molanog hangtod sa kinatumyan sa kalibotan, tungod kay paninglon man ni Yahweh ang mga sumbong batok sa tanang kanasoran, ug pagahukman niya ang tanang buhing binuhat. Itugyan niya ang mga daotan ngadto sa espada—mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh.'
The sounde shall come to the endes of the earth: for the Lord hath a controuersie with the nations, and will enter into iudgement with all flesh, and he will giue them that are wicked, to the sworde, saith the Lord.
32 Nag-ingon niini si Yahweh ang labawng makagagahom, 'Tan-awa, ang katalagman modangat gayod sa tagsatagsa ka mga nasod, ug ang dakong bagyo magsugod gikan sa labing suok nga bahin sa kalibotan.
Thus saith the Lord of hostes, Behold, a plague shall goe foorth from nation to nation, and a great whirlewinde shalbe raised vp from the coastes of the earth,
33 Unya kadtong gipamatay ni Yahweh nianang adlawa magkatag sa bisan asang bahin sa kalibotan; walay magbangotan kanila, maghipos, o maglubong. Mahisama sila sa hugaw nga anaa sa yuta.
And the slaine of the Lord shall be at that day, from one ende of the earth, euen vnto the other ende of the earth: they shall not bee mourned, neither gathered nor buried, but shalbe as the dongue vpon the grounde.
34 Pagminatay ug pagpakitabang kamong mga magbalantay! Pagligid diha sa mga abog, kamong mga pangulo sa panon, kay ang mga adlaw nga pagaihawon kamo nahiabot na; mabungkag kamo sa dihang malaglag kamo sama sa mahalon nga kolon.
Howle, ye shepherdes, and crie, and wallowe your selues in the ashes, ye principall of the flocke: for your dayes of slaughter are accomplished, and of your dispersion, and ye shall fall like precious vessels.
35 Walay kadangpan alang sa mga magbalantay, wala gayoy kaikyasan sa mga pangulo sa panon.
And the flight shall faile from the shepherdes, and the escaping from the principall of the flocke.
36 Pamatia ang paghilak sa mga magbalantay ug ang pagminatay sa mga pangulo sa panon, kay gilaglag ni Yahweh ang ilang mga sibsiban.
A voyce of the crye of the shepherdes, and an howling of the principall of the flocke shalbe heard: for the Lord hath destroyed their pasture.
37 Busa ang malinawon nga mga sibsiban mahimong biniyaan tungod sa tumang kasuko ni Yahweh.
And the best pastures are destroyed because of the wrath and indignation of the Lord.
38 Sama sa batang liyon nga mibiya sa iyang langub, kay ang ilang dapit nahimong kahadlokan tungod sa kasuko sa nagdaogdaog, ug tungod usab sa iyang mabangis nga kapungot.'''
He hath forsaken his couert, as the lyon: for their land is waste, because of the wrath of the oppressor, and because of ye wrath of his indignatio.
