1 সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো। হে আমার প্রাণ, সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো।

2 আমি সারা জীবন সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করব। আমি যতদিন বাঁচব ততদিন আমার ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা করব।

Mi soule, herie thou the Lord; Y schal herie the Lord in my lijf, Y schal synge to my God as longe as Y schal be. Nile ye triste in princis;

3 তোমরা অধিপতিদের উপর আস্থা রেখো না, মানুষের উপর রেখো না, যারা রক্ষা করতে পারে না।

nether in the sones of men, in whiche is noon helthe.

4 যখন তাদের প্রাণবায়ু বেরিয়ে যায় তখন তারা ধুলোতে ফিরে আসে, সেই দিনই তাদের সব পরিকল্পনার অবসান ঘটে।

5 ধন্য সেই ব্যক্তি, যার সহায় যাকোবের ঈশ্বর, ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুতেই তার সব প্রত্যাশা।

6 তিনি আকাশমণ্ডল ও পৃথিবী, সাগর ও তাদের মধ্যে যা কিছু আছে, সমস্ত কিছুর সৃষ্টিকর্তা— তিনি চিরকাল বিশ্বস্ত থাকেন।

7 তিনি অত্যাচারিতদের পক্ষে ন্যায়বিচার করেন, আর ক্ষুধার্তদের খাবার জোগান দেন। সদাপ্রভু বন্দিদের মুক্ত করেন।

8 সদাপ্রভু দৃষ্টিহীনকে দৃষ্টি দান করেন, সদাপ্রভু অবনতদের উত্থাপন করেন, সদাপ্রভু ধার্মিকদের প্রেম করেন।

the Lord liytneth blynde men. The Lord reisith men hurtlid doun; the Lord loueth iust men.

9 সদাপ্রভু বিদেশিদের রক্ষা করেন অনাথ ও বিধবাদের তিনি বহন করেন, কিন্তু তিনি দুষ্টদের সংকল্প ব্যর্থ করেন।

The Lord kepith comelyngis, he schal take vp a modirles child, and widewe; and he schal distrie the weies of synners.

10 সদাপ্রভু চিরকাল রাজত্ব করেন, তোমার ঈশ্বর, হে সিয়োন, বংশানুক্রমে করেন। সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো।

The Lord schal regne in to the worldis; Syon, thi God schal regne in generacioun and in to generacioun.
