That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in love, (agape) in patience.
3 Emazte çaharrac halaber diraden saindutassunari dagocan continentiataco, ez gaitzerraile, ez mahatsarno anhitzari emanac, gauça honestén iracatsle:
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 Emazte gazteac instrui ditzatençát moderatu içaten, bere senharrén onhetsten, bere haourrén maite vkaiten:
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 Çuhur içaten, chahu, etchean egoile, on, bere senharrén suiet: Iaincoaren hitza blasphema eztadinçát.
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word (logos) of God be not blasphemed.
6 Guiçon gazteac halaber exhortaitzac moderatu diraden.
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 Gauça gucietan eracusten dualaric eure buruä obra onen exemplu, doctrinán eracusten dualaric integritate, grauitate,
In all things showing yourself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing incorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Hitza sano, eta condemna ecin daiten beçalaco: contrastatzen dena confundi dadinçát, çueçaz gaizquiric cer erran ez vkanez.
Sound speech, (logos) that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 Cerbitzariac bere nabussién suiet diraden, gauça gucietan hayén gogara eguiten dutelaric, contradiçale eztiradelaric:
Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10 Deus appartatzen eztutelaric, baina leyaltate on gucia eracusten dutelaric, gauça gucietan Iainco gure Saluadorearen doctriná orna deçatençát.
Not embezzling, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 Ecen aguertu içan ciayec guiçon guciey Iaincoaren gratia saluagarria.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12 Iracasten gaituela, infidelitateaz eta munduco desiréz renuntiaturic, sobrequi, iustoqui, eta religiosqui vici garén presenteco secula hunetan: (aiōn g165)
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (aiōn g165)
13 Dohain onetaco sperançaren eta gure Iainco handi eta Saluadore Iesus Christen gloriataco aduenimendu excellentaren beguira gaudelaric:
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Ceinec eman baitu bere buruä guregatic, gu redemi guençançat iniquitate gucitaric, eta purifica guençançát bere populu particular, obra onetara affectionatu içateco.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself an exclusive people, zealous of good works.
15 Gauça hauc denuntiaitzac, eta ari adi exhortatzen eta reprehenditzen authoritate gucirequin: nehorc ezeçala hi menosprecia.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you.
