1 Cer beraz erranen dugu gure aita Abrahamec eriden duela haraguiaren arauez?
What then will we say to have discovered Abraham the (ancestor *N+KO) of us according to [the] flesh?
2 Ecen baldin Abraham obréz iustificatu içan bada, badu cerçaz gloria dadin, baina ez Iaincoa baithan.
If for Abraham by works was justified, he has ground of boasting but not toward God.
3 Baina cer dio Scripturác? Sinhetsi vkan du Abrahamec Iaincoa, eta imputatu içan çayó iustitiatara.
What for the Scripture says? Believed then Abraham in God, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.
4 Baina obratzen duenari alocairua etzayó gratiatan contatzen baina hartzetan:
To the [one] now working the reward not is reckoned according to grace but according to debt;
5 Ordea obratzen eztuenari, baina gaichtoa iustificatzen duena baithan sinhesten duenari, bere fedea iustitiatan contatzen çayó.
To the [one] however not working, believing however on the [One] justifying the ungodly, is reckoned the faith of him for righteousness.
6 Nola Dauidec-ere declaratzen baitu Iaincoac obrác gabe iustitiá imputatzen draucan guiçonaren dohain-ontassuna, dioela,
just as also David declares the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
7 Dohatsu dirade ceinén iniquitateac quittatu içan baitirade eta ceinén bekatuac estali içan baitirade.
Blessed [are] they of whom are forgiven the lawless deeds and of whom are covered the sins;
8 Dohatsu da Iaunac bekatua imputatu eztrauqueon guiçona.
blessed [is] [the] man (of whom *N+kO) certainly not may reckon [the] Lord sin.
9 Bada dohain-ontassun haur, circoncisionean da solament ala bay preputioan-ere? Ecen erraiten dugu imputatu içan çayola Abrahami fedea iustitiatan.
[Is] the blessing then this on the circumcision or also on the uncircumcision? We are saying for (that: *k) was credited to Abraham the faith as righteousness.
10 Nola bada imputatu içan çayo? circoncisionean cela, ala preputioan? ez circoncisionean, baina preputioan.
How then was it credited? In circumcision being or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision but in uncircumcision;
11 Guero recebi ceçan circoncisionearen seignalea, fedealen iustitiataco cigulutan cein baitzen preputioan: preputioan diradela sinhesten duten gucién aita licençát, hæy-ere iustitiá imputa lequiençát:
And [the] sign he received of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith that [he had] [while] in the uncircumcision; for the to be him father of all those believing in uncircumcision, for to be credited also to them the righteousness,
12 Eta circonsionearen aita, erran nahi da, ez circoncisionecoén solament, baina gure aita Abrahamen fede preputioan çuenaren hatzari darreizconen-ere.
and father of circumcision to those not of circumcision only but also to those walking in the steps during (the *k) uncircumcision (of the *k) faith of the father of us Abraham.
13 Ecen promessa etzayó Legueaz heldu içan Abrahami, edo haren haciari, munduaren heredero içateco, baina fedeazco iustitiáz.
Not for through [the] Law [was] the promise to Abraham or to the descendants of him that heir he being (of the *k) world but through [the] righteousness of faith.
14 Ecen baldin Leguetic diradenac, heredero badirade ezdeus bilhatu da fedea, eta iraungui da promessa.
If for those of [the] Law [are] heirs, has been made void faith and has been nullified the promise;
15 Ceren Legueac hirá engendratzen baitu: ecen non ezpaita legueric, han ezta transgressioneric
For law wrath brings; where (now *N+kO) no there is law, neither [is] transgression.
16 Harren fedez da heretagea, gratiaz dençát, promessa haci guciaren fermu dençát: ez Leguetic den haciaren solament, baina Abrahamen fedetic denaren-ere, cein baita gure gución aita,
Therefore it [is] of faith, that [it may be] according to grace, for to be sure the promise to all the seed, not to that of the law only but also to that of [the] faith of Abraham, who is [the] father of all of us —
17 (Scribatua den beçala, Anhitz nationeren aita ordenatu vkan aut) Iaincoaren aitzinean, cein sinhetsi vkan baitu: ceinec hiley vicitze emaiten baitraue, eta deitzen baititu eztiraden gauçác balirade beçala.
even as it has been written that A father of many nations I have made you, before whom he believed God, who is giving life to the dead and calling the [things] not [into] being as existing;
18 Ceinec sperançaren contra sperançaz sinhets baitzeçan, anhitz nationeren aita içanen cela: erran içan çayonaren araura, Hala içanen duc hire hacia.
who against hope in hope believed for to become him [the] father of many nations according to that spoken; So will be the offspring of you;
19 Eta fedean flaccu ez içanez, etzeçan behá bere gorputz ia hilera, ehun vrtheren inguruä baçuen-ere: ezeta Sararen vmunci ia hilera.
And not having become weak in the faith (not *K) he considered his own body already expired, a hundred years old about being, and the lifelessness of the womb of Sarah,
20 Eta Iaincoaren promessaren gainean etzeçan duda incredulitatez: baina fortifica cedin fedez Iaincoari gloria emanic:
About however the promise of God not he did waver through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, having given glory to God
21 Eta frangoqui seguraturic, ecen hari promes eguin ceraucana, botheretsu cela eguiteco-ere.
and having been fully assured that what He has promised able He is also to do;
22 Halacotz haur -ere iustitiatan imputatu içan çayo.
Therefore also it was credited to him unto righteousness.
23 Eta ezta scribatu içan harengatic solament, ecen haur iustitiatan imputatu içan çayola:
Not it was written now on account of him alone that it was credited to him,
24 Baina guregatic-ere, ceini imputaturen baitzaicu, Iesus gure Iauna hiletaric resuscitatu duena baithan sinhesten dugunoy,
but also on account of us to whom it is about to be credited, to those believing on the [One] having raised Jesus the Lord of us out from [the] dead,
25 Cein heriotara liuratu içan baita gure bekatuacgatic, eta resuscitatu gure iustificationeagatic.
who was delivered over for the trespasses of us and was raised for the justification of us.
