< Apokalipsia 12 >

1 Eta ikus cedin signo handibat ceruän, Emazte iguzquiaz inguratubat, ceinen oinén azpian baitzén ilharguia, eta buruän hamabi içarrezco coroabat.
Then a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
2 Eta içorra içanez heyagoraz cegoen erdi beharrezco minez, eta tormenta iragaiten çuen erdi cedinçát.
She was with child and cried out in the pain and agony of giving birth.
3 Ikus cedin berce signobat-ere ceruän, eta huná, dragoin gorharats handibat, çazpi buru cituenic eta hamar adar: eta bere buruètan çazpi diadema.
Then another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great fiery red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
4 Eta haren buztanac tiratzen çuen ceruco içarrén herén partea, eta egotz citzan hec lurrera: eta gueldi cedin dragoina emazte erdi behar çuenaren aitzinean, erdi çatenean, haren haourra irets leçançát.
His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and hurled them to the earth. Then the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.
5 Eta erd cedin seme ar batez ceinec gobernatu behar baitzituen natione guciac burdinazco berga batez: eta harrapa cedin haren haourra Iaincoagana eta haren thronora.
She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne.
6 Eta emazteac ihes ceguian desertu batetara, non baitu lekua Iaincoaz appainduric, han hura haz deçatençát milla eta ber-ehun eta hiruroguey egunez.
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where God had a place prepared for her to be nourished for one thousand two hundred sixty days.
7 Eta eguin cedin bataillabat ceruän: Michele eta haren Aingueruäc bataillatzen ciraden dragoinaren contra, eta dragoina combatitzen cen eta haren Aingueruäc:
Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. And the dragon fought back, along with his angels.
8 Baina etziraden borthitzenac içan, eta hayén lekua etzedin guehiagoric eriden ceruän.
But he did not prevail, and there was no longer any place found for him in heaven.
9 Eta iraitz cedin dragoin handia, sugue çahar hura, Deabru eta Satan deitzen dena, ceinec mundu gucia seducitzen baitu: iraitzi içan da bada lurrera, eta haren Aingueruäc harequin iraitz citecen.
The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10 Eta ençun neçan voz handibat cioela ceruän, Orain eguin da saluamendua, eta indarra, eta gure Iaincoren resumá, eta Christ harenaren botherea: ecen gure anayén accusaçalea iraitzi içan da, ceinec accusatzen baitzituen gure Iaincoaren aitzinean egun eta gau.
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “The salvation, power, and kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ, have now come. For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, he who accuses them day and night before our God.
11 Baina hec garaithu içan çaizquio Bildotsaren odolaren causaz eta bere testimoniageco hitzaren causaz, eta bere viciac eztituzte guppida vkan heriorano.
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so as to shy away from death.
12 Halacotz çaitezte aleguera, ceruäc eta hetan habitatzen çaretenác. Maledictione lurreco eta itsassoco habitantey: ecen iautsi da deabrua çuetara, hira handiz betheric, nola baitaqui ecen dembora appurbat baduela.
Therefore rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you with great wrath, because he knows that his time is short.”
13 Ikussi vkan çuenean bada dragoinac ecen iraitzi içan cela lurrera, persecuta ceçan arraz erdi içan cen emaztea.
When the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.
14 Baina eman içan çaizcan emazteari arrano handi batenic bi hegal, hegalda ledinçát suguearen aitzinetic desertura, bere lekura, non hatzen baita dembora batetacotz eta demborétacotz eta demboraren erditacotz.
But the woman was given two wings like those of a great eagle so that she could fly away from the presence of the serpent to her place in the wilderness, to be nourished there for a time, times, and half a time.
15 Eta iraitz ceçan sugueac emaztearen ondoan bere ahotic vr fluuiobat beçala, hura harrapa eraci leçançát fluuioaz.
Then out of his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood.
16 Baina aiuta ceçan lurrac emaztea, eta irequi ceçan lurrac bere ahoa, eta hurrupa ceçan dragoinac bere ahotic iraitzi vkan çuen fluuioa
But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
17 Orduan asserre cedin dragoina emaztearen contra, eta ioan cedin guerla eguitera haren hacico goiticoén, Iaincoaren manamenduac beguiratzen dituztenén eta Iesus Christen testimoniagea dutenén contra. Eta gueldi nendin itsassoco sable gainean.
So the dragon was angry with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
