4 Baina harc ihardesten çuela erran ciecén, Eztuçue iracurri ecen Creaçaleac hatsetic eguin cituela arra eta emea?
Jesus replied, “Haven't you read that God who created people in the beginning made them male and female?
5 Eta erran çuela, Halacotz vtziren ditu guiçonac aita eta ama, eta iunctaturen çayó bere emazteari, eta içanen dirade biac haraguibat.
He said, ‘This is the reason a man will leave his father and mother, and join with his wife, and the two shall become one.’
6 Bada guehiagoric eztirade biga, baina haraguibat. Beraz Iaincoac iunctatu duena, guiçonac ezteçala separa.
Now they're no longer two, but one. What God has joined together no one should separate.”
7 Diotsate, Cergatic beraz Moysesec manatu vkan du separationeco letraren emaitera, eta haren vtzitera?
“Then why did Moses give a law that a man could divorce his wife by giving her a written certificate of divorce, and sending her away?” they asked.
8 Dioste, Moysesec çuen bihotzeco gogortassunagatic permettitu drauçue çuen emaztén vtzitera: baina hatsetic etzén hala.

“Some are born as eunuchs, some are made eunuchs by men, and some choose to be eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Those who can accept this should accept it.”
13 Orduan haourtchoac presentatu içan çaizcan escuac gainean eçar lietzençat eta othoitz leguiançat: eta discipuluec mehatcha citzaten.
The people brought little children to him so he could bless them and pray for them. But the disciples told them not to.

17 Eta harc erran cieçón, Cergatic deitzen nauc on? eztuc nehor onic bat baicen, eta hura, Iaincoa: baldin vicitzean sarthu nahi bahaiz, beguiraitzac manamenduac.
“Why do you ask me what is good?” Jesus replied. “There's only one who is good. But if you want to have eternal life, then keep the commandments.”
18 Diotsó, Cein? Eta Iesusec erran ceçan Eztuc hilen, Eztuc adulteraturen, Eztuc ebatsiren, Eztuc testimoniage falsuric erranen.
“Which ones?” the man asked him. “Don't murder, don't commit adultery, don't steal, don't give false testimony,

Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, then go and sell your possessions, give the money to the poor, and you'll have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me.”
22 Eta ençun çuenean guiçon gazteorrec hitz hori, ioan cedin tristeric: ecen on handiac cituen.
When the young man heard Jesus' answer he went away very sad, because he had many possessions.
23 Orduan Iesusec erran ciecén bere discipuluey, Eguiaz erraiten drauçuet, ecen abratsa nequez sarthuren dela ceruètaco resumán.
“I tell you the truth,” Jesus said to his disciples, “rich people find it hard to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 Eta berriz diotsuet, errachago dela cablebat orratzaren chulhotic iragan dadin, ecen ez abratsa Iaincoaren resumán sar dadin.
I also tell you this: It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 Gauça hauc ençunic haren discipuluac spanta citecen haguitz, cioitela, Nor da beraz salua ahal daitenic?
When the disciples heard this, they were very surprised, and asked, “So who can be saved?”
26 Eta Iesusec hetarat behaturic, erran ciecén, Guiçonac baithan hori impossible da: baina Iaincoa baithan gauça guciac possible dirade.
Jesus looked at them and said, “From a human point of view it's impossible, but all things are possible with God.”

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth: when everything is remade and the Son of man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 Eta norc-ere vtzi baituque etcheric, edo anayeric, edo arrebaric, edo aita, edo ama, edo emaztea, edo haourric, edo landaric ene icenaren causaz, ehunetan hambat recebituren duela, eta vicitze eternala heretaturen. (aiōnios g166)
All those who because of me have left their homes, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children, and fields, will receive back a hundred times more, and will receive eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
30 Baina anhitz lehen diradenac, içanen dirade azquen: eta azquenac, lehen.
For many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.
