The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
22 Eta hec alha ciradela, har ceçan Iesusec oguia eta gratiác rendaturic hauts ceçan: eta eman cieçén, eta dio, Har eçaçue, ian eçaçue: haur da ene gorputza.

36 Eta erran ceçan, Abba, Aitá, gauça guçiac possible dituc hire: transporta eçac eneganic copa haur: badaric-ere ez nic nahi dudana, baina hic nahi duana.
And he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
38 Veilla eçaçue, eta othoitz eguiçue, sar etzaitezten tentationetan: spiritua prompto da, baina haraguia flacu.
Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly [is] ready, but the flesh [is] weak.
39 Eta berriz ioanic othoitz eguin ceçan, eta propos bera erran ceçan.
And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy, ) neither wist they what to answer him.
41 Eta ethor cedin herén aldian, eta dioste, Lo eguiçue gaurguero, eta reposa çaitezte: asco da, ethorri da orena: huná, liuratzen da guiçonaren Semea gaichtoén escuetara.
And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take [your] rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42 Iaiqui çaitezte, goacen: huná, ni traditzen nauena hurbildu da.

And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
59 Baina hala-ere hayén testimoniagea etzén conforme.
But neither so did their witness agree together.
60 Orduan Sacrificadore subiranoac artera iaiquiric interroga ceçan Iesus, cioela, Eztuc deus ihardesten? cer da hauc hire contra testificatzen dutena?
And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what [is it which] these witness against thee?
61 Baina hura ichilic cegoen, eta etzeçan deus ihardets. Berriz Sacrificadore subiranoac interroga ceçan hura, eta erran cieçón, Hi aiz Christ Iainco Benedicatuaren Semea?
But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
62 Eta Iesusec erran cieçón, Ni nauc, eta ikussiren duçue guiçonaren Semea iarriric dagoela Iaincoaren botherearen escunean, eta ethorten dela ceruco hodeyetan.
