< Lukas 5 >

1 Eta guertha cedin, populuac hura hertsen çuela Iaincoaren hitzaren ençuteagatic, bera Genesarethco lac bazterrean baitzegoen:
And it came to pass, while the multitude was pressing upon him, and was hearing the word of God, that, he, was standing near the lake of Gennesaret;
2 Eta ikus citzan bi vnci lac bazterrean ceudela: eta hetaric ilkiric arrançalec sareac ikutzen cituzten:
and he saw two boats placed near the lake, and, the fishers, having gone away, from them, were washing their nets.
3 Eta sarthuric vnci hetaric batetara, cein baitzén Simonena, othoitz ceguión lurretit retira leçan appurbat: guero iarriric vncitic iracasten cituen gendetzeac.
And, entering into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, he requested him, to put off from the land, a little; and, taking a seat, out of the boat, began he teaching the multitudes.
4 Eta minçatzetic ichildu cen beçala, erran cieçón Simoni, eramac barnago, eta largaitzaçue çuen sareac hatzamaitera.
And, when he ceased speaking, he said unto Simon—Put off into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 Orduan ihardesten duela Simonac diotsa, Magistruá, gau gucian nekaturic eztiagu deus hartu: baina hire hitzera largaturen diat sarea.
And Simon, answering, said—Master! although through the whole night we toiled, we took, nothing; howbeit, at thy bidding, I will let down the nets.
6 Eta hori eguin çutenean, enserra ceçaten arrain mola handibat: eta ethencen cen hayén sarea.
And, when this they had done, they enclosed a very large number of fishes, and their nets began to break.
7 Eta keinu eguin ciecén berce vncico laguney, ethorriric lagun lequiztén: eta ethor citecen, eta bethe citzaten bi vnciac hundatzerano.
And they made signs to their partners in the other boat, to come and help them; and they came, and filled both the boats, —so that they began to sink.
8 Eta hori ikussiric Simon Pierrisec egotz ceçan bere buruä Iesusen belhaunetara, cioela, Parti adi eneganic, Iauna, ecen guiçon bekatorea nauc ni.
And Simon, beholding, fell down at the knees of Jesus, saying—Depart from me! Because, a sinful man, am I, O Lord!
9 Ecen icidura batec har ceçan hura eta harequin ciraden guciac, hartu cituzten arrain hatzamaitearen gainean, halaber Iacques eta Ioannes Zebedeoren seme Simonen lagun ciradenac-ere.
For, amazement, overcame him, and all them who were with him, on account of the draught of the fishes which they had taken;
10 Orduan erran cieçón Simoni Iesusec, Eztuála beldurric, oraindanic guiçon hatzamaile içanen aiz.
likewise also, both James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon—Do not fear! henceforth, shall thou be taking, men, that they may, live.
11 Eta vnciac leihorrera cituztenean gucia vtziric, hari iarreiqui içan çaizcan.
And, bringing the boats down on to the land, they left all, and followed him.
12 Eta guertha cedin hura hiri batetan cela, huná, guiçon sorhayotassunez bethebat ethor baitzedin: eta ikussi çuenean Iesus, bere buruä beguitharte gainera egotziric othoitz ceçan hura, cioela, Iauna, baldin nahi baduc, chahu ahal neçaquec.
And it came to pass, while he was in one of the cities, that lo! there was a man full of leprosy; and, seeing Jesus, he fell on his face, and entreated him, saying—Lord! if thou be willing, thou canst cleanse me.
13 Eta Iesusec escua hedaturic hunqui ceçan hura, cioela, Nahi diat, aicén chahu. Eta bertan sorhayotassuna parti cedin harenganic.
And, stretching forth the hand, he touched him, saying—I am willing: Be cleansed! And, straightway, the leprosy departed from him.
14 Eta harc mana ceçan nehori ezlerrón: baina ohá, diotsa, eracuts ieçoc eure buruä Sacrificadoreari, eta presenta eçac eure chahutzeagatic Moysesec ordenatu duen beçala hæy testimoniagetan.
And, he, charged him to tell, no one, —but, departing, Show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses enjoined, for a witness unto them.
15 Eta harçazco proposa gueroago aitzinago hedatzen cen, eta gendetze handiac biltzen ciraden ençutera, eta bere eritassunetaric harçaz senda litecençát.
But the report concerning him the more went abroad, and many multitudes were coming together, to hear, and be getting cured from their infirmities;
16 Baina bera retiratua cegoen desertuetan, eta othoitz eguiten çuen.
howbeit, he, was retiring in the deserts, and engaging in prayer.
17 Eta guertha cedin egun batez hura iracasten ari cela, phariseuac eta Legueco doctorac baitzeuden iarriric, cein ethor baitzitecen Galileaco eta Iudeaco eta Ierusalemeco burgu gucietaric: eta Iaunaren verthutea cen hayén sendatzeco.
And it came to pass, on one of the days, that, he, was teaching, and there were sitting Pharisees and Teachers of the law, who had come out of every village of Galilee and Judaea and Jerusalem; and, the power of the Lord, was there, that he might heal.
18 Orduan huná batzu, dacarqueitela ohean guiçon-bat cein baitzén paralytico: eta çabiltzan hura barnera ekarri nahaiz, eta haren aitzinean eçarri nahiz.
And lo! men bearing, upon a couch, one who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in, and lay him before him.
19 Eta erideiten etzutenean nondic hura barnera liroiten, gendetzearen causaz, iganic etche gainera, teuletaric erauts ceçaten ohetchoarequin artera, Iesusen aitzinera:
And, not finding by what means they might bring him in, because of the multitude, going up on the house-top, through the tiling, let they him down, with the little-couch, into the midst before Jesus.
20 Eta hayén fedea ikussi çuenean, erran cieçón, Guiçoná, barkatu çaizquic eure bekatuac.
And, beholding their faith, he said—O man! thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 Orduan has citecen pensatzen Scribác eta Phariseuac, cioitela, Nor da blasphemioac erraiten dituen haur? Norc barka ahal ditzaque bekatuac Iaincoac berac baicen?
And the Scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying—Who is this that speaketh profanities? Who can forgive, sins, save, God alone?
22 Eta Iesusec eçaguturic hayén pensamenduac, ihardesten çuela erran ciecén, Cer pensatzen duçue çuen bihotzetan?
And Jesus, taking note of their reasonings, answering, said unto them—Why are ye reasoning in your hearts?
23 Cein da errachago, erraitea, Barkatu çaizquic eure bekatuac: ala erraitea, Iaiqui adi eta ebil adi?
Which is easier, To say—Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say—Arise and be walking?
24 Daquiçuençat bada ecen guiçonaren Semeac baduela authoritate lurrean bekatuén barkatzeco (diotsa paralyticoari) Hiri erraiten drauat iaiqui adi, eta eure ohetchoa harturic habil eure etcherát.
But, that ye may know that, the Son of Man, hath, authority, upon the earth to forgive sins—he said to the paralyzed man—To thee, I say, Arise, and, taking up thy couch, be going thy way unto thy house.
25 Eta bertan iaiquiric hayén aitzinean, eta altchatu çuenean bera cetzan ohetchoa, ioan cedin bere etcherát, glorificatzen çuela Iaincoa.
And, instantly arising before them, he took up that whereon he had been lying, and departed unto his house, glorifying God.
26 Eta icidura batec har citzan guciac, eta glorificatzen çutén Iaincoa: eta bethe citecen beldurtassunez, erraiten çutela, Segur ikussi ditugu egun nehorc vste etzituqueen gauçác.
And, astonishment, seized one and all, and they began glorifying God, and were filled with fear, saying—We have seen unaccountable things, to-day!
27 Eta gauça hayen buruän ilki cedin, eta ikus ceçan publicano Leui deitzen cembat, peage lekuan iarriric, eta erran cieçón, Arreit niri.
And, after these things, he went forth, and looked upon a tax-collector, by name Levi, —presiding over the tax-office; and he said to him—Be following me!
28 Eta hura gauça guciac vtziric iaiqui cedin, eta iarreiqui içan çayón.
And, forsaking all, he arose, and was following him.
29 Eta eguin cieçón banquet handibat Leuic bere etchean, eta cen publicanoezco eta berce hequin mahainean iarriric ceudenezco compainia handibat.
And Levi made a great reception for him, in his house, and there was a great multitude of tax-collectors, and others, —who were with them reclining.
30 Eta hetaric Scriba eta Phariseu ciradenéc murmuratzen çuten haren discipuluen contra, cioitela, Cergatic publicanoequin eta gende vicitze gaichtotacoequin iaten eta edaten duçue?
And the Pharisees and their Scribes began murmuring unto his disciples, saying—Wherefore, with the tax-collectors and sinners, are ye eating and drinking?
31 Eta ihardesten çuela Iesusec erran ciecén, Osso diradenéc eztute medicuren beharric: baina gaizqui daudenéc.
And, answering, Jesus said unto them—No need, have, the whole, of a physician, but, they who are sick.
32 Eznaiz ethorri iustoén deitzera, baina bekatorén, emendamendutara.
I have not come to call, righteous, men, but, sinners, unto repentance.
33 Eta hec erran cieçoten, Cergatic Ioannesen discipuluéc barur eguiten dute maiz eta othoitz eguiten, halaber Phariseuenec-ere: baia hiréc iaten eta edaten dute?
But, they, said unto him—The disciples of John, do fast much, and, supplications, do make, —likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees; but, thine, do eat and drink!
34 Eta harc erran ciecén, Barur eraci ahal ditzaqueçue ezconduaren gamberaco gendeac ezcondua hequin deno?
Jesus, however, said unto them—Can, ye make, the sons of the bridechamber, fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35 Baina ethorriren dirade egunac edequiren baitzaye ezcondua, orduan barur eguinen duté egun hetan.
But there will come days, even when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, then, will they fast, in those days.
36 Guero comparationebat-ere erran ciécen, Nehorc eztrauca eratchequiten abillamendu berri baten pedaçua abillamendu çar bati: ezpere berriac ethencen du: eta çarrarequin ezta accordatzen berritic den pedaçua.
Moreover, he went on to speak, a parable also, unto them—No one, rending a patch from a new mantle, patcheth it upon an old mantle; otherwise, at least, both, the new, he will rend, and, with the old, the patch which is from the new, will not agree.
37 Eta nehorc eztu eçarten mahatsarno berria çahagui çarretan, ezpere mahatsarno berriac çathituren ditu çahaguiac eta bera issuriren da, eta çahaguiac galduren dirade:
And, no one, poureth new wine into old skins; otherwise, at least, the new wine, will burst the skins, and will, itself, be poured out, and the skins be destroyed.
38 Baina mahatsarno berria çahagui berrietan eçarteco da: eta biac beguiratzen dirade.
But, new wine, into unused skins, must be poured.
39 Eta ezta nehor çaharretic edaten duenic, bertan berritic nahi duenic: ecen erraiten du, Çaharra hobe da.
[No one, having drunk old, desireth new; for he saith, The old, is, mellow.]
