Lukas 24

But in o dai of the woke ful eerli thei camen to the graue, and brouyten swete smellynge spices, that thei hadden arayed.
2 Eta eriden ceçaten harria monumentetic aldaratua.
And thei founden the stoon turned awei fro the graue.
3 Eta sarthu ciradenean etzeçaten eriden Iesus Iaunaren gorputza.
And thei yeden in, and founden not the bodi of the Lord Jhesu.
4 Eta guertha cedin hec halacotz duda handitan ciradela, huná bi guiçon eriden baitzitecen han, chistmist ançora arguitzen çuten abillamendutan.
And it was don, the while thei weren astonyed in thouyt of this thing, lo! twei men stoden bisidis hem in schynynge cloth.
5 Eta nola icituac baitziraden, eta beheititzen baitziraden beguithartez lurrera guicon hec erran ciecén, Cergatic hilén artean bilhatzen duçue vici dena?
And whanne thei dredden, and boweden her semblaunt in to the erthe, thei seiden to hem, What seken ye hym that lyueth with deed men?
6 Ezta hemen, baina resuscitatu da: orhoit çaitezte nola erran cerauçuen oraino Galilean cela,
He is not here, but is risun. Haue ye mynde, hou he spak to you, whanne he was yit in Galile,
7 Cioela, Behar da guiçonaren Semea liura dadin vicitze gaichtotacoen escuetara, eta crucifica dadin: eta hereneco egunean resuscita dadin.
and seide, For it bihoueth mannys sone to be bitakun in to the hondis of synful men, and to be crucified, and the thridde dai to rise ayen.
8 Eta orhoit citecen haren hitzéz.
And thei bithouyten on hise wordis.
9 Eta monumentetic itzuli ciradenean, conta cietzén gauça hauc guciac hamequey, eta berce guciey.
And thei yeden ayen fro the graue, and telden alle these thingis to the enleuene, and to alle othir.
10 Eta ciraden Maria Magdalena eta Ioanna eta Maria Iacquesen ama, eta berce hequin ciradenac, gauça hauén Apostoluey erraileac.
And ther was Marie Mawdeleyn, and Joone, and Marie of James, and other wymmen that weren with hem, that seiden to apostlis these thingis.
11 Eta irudi cequiztén erguelqueria beçala hayén hitzac, eta etzitzaten sinhets.
And these wordis weren seyn bifor hem as madnesse, and thei bileueden not to hem.
12 Baina Pierrisec iaiquiric laster ceguian monumentera, eta ikartzera beheitituric ikus citzan mihisse hutsac bere gain eçarriac: guero ioan cedin bere baithan miresten çuela eguin içan cenaz.
But Petir roos vp, and ran to the graue; and he bowide doun, and say the lynen clothis liynge aloone. And he wente bi him silf, wondrynge on that that was don.
13 Eta huná, hetaric biga ioaiten ciraden egun hartan berean burgu batetara hiruroguey stadio Ierusalemetic vrrun, Emaus deitzen cenera:
And lo! tweyne of hem wenten in that dai in to a castel, that was fro Jerusalem the space of sixti furlongis, bi name Emaws.
14 Eta minço ciraden elkarren artean heldu içan ciraden gauça hauçaz guciéz.
And thei spaken togidir of alle these thingis that haddun bifallun.
15 Guertha cedin bada hec minço ciradela eta ciharducatela, Iesus-ere hæy hurbilduric ioan baitzedin hequin batean.
And it was don, the while thei talkiden, and souyten bi hem silf, Jhesus hym silf neiyede, and wente with hem.
16 Baina hayen beguiac luluratuac ceuden hura eçagut ezleçatençát.
But her iyen weren holdun, that thei knewen him not.
17 Eta erran ciecén, Ceric dirade ioaiten çaretela çuen artean compartitzen dituçuen hitz horiac, eta cergatic çarete triste?
And he seide to hem, What ben these wordis, that ye speken togidir wandrynge, and ye ben sorewful?
18 Eta ihardesten çuela batac Cleopas deitzen cenac, erran cieçón, Hi euror aiz Ierusalemen arrotz, eta eztaquizquic hartan egun hautan eguin içan diraden gauçac?
And oon, whos name was Cleofas, answerde, and seide, Thou thi silf art a pilgrym in Jerusalem, and hast thou not knowun, what thingis ben don in it in these daies?
19 Eta harc erran ciecén, Cer gauça? Eta erran cieçoten, Iesus Nazarenoaz, cein içan baita guiçon Propheta, eguinez eta erranez botheretsua, Iaincoaren eta populu guciaren aitzinean.
To whom he seide, What thingis? And thei seiden to hym, Of Jhesu of Nazareth, that was a man prophete, myyti in werk and word bifor God and al the puple;

21 Eta guc sperança guendián hura cela Israel redemitu behar çuena: badaric-ere horién gucion gainera, egun duc herén eguna gauça hauc eguin içan diradela.
But we hopiden, that he schulde haue ayenbouyt Israel. And now on alle these thingis the thridde dai is to dai, that these thingis weren don.
22 Baina gure arteco emazte batzuc-ere icitu guiaitié, cein guciz goiz monumentean içan baitirade:
But also summe wymmen of ouris maden vs afered, whiche bifor dai weren at the graue; and whanne his bodi was not foundun,
23 Eta eriden eztutenean haren gorputza, ethorri içan dituc, dioitela visionebat-ere Aingueruènic ikussi vkan dutela, hura vici dela dioitenenic
thei camen, and seiden, that thei syen also a siyt of aungels, whiche seien, that he lyueth.
24 Eta ioan içan dituc gurequin ciradenetaric batzu monumentera, eta hala eriden dié nola emaztéc erran baitzuten: baina bera eztié ikussi.
And summe of oure wenten to the graue, and thei founden so as the wymmen seiden, but thei founden not hym.
25 Orduan harc erran ciecen, O adimendu gabeac, eta Prophetéc erran dituzten gauça gucién sinhestera bihotz berantcorretacoac!
And he seide to hem, A! foolis, and slowe of herte to bileue in alle thingis that the prophetis han spokun.
26 Etzena behar Christec gauça horiac suffri citzan, eta bere glorian sar ledin?
Whethir it bihofte not Crist to suffre these thingis, and so to entre in to his glorie?
27 Guero hassiric Moyses baitharic eta Propheta gucietaric, declaratzen cerauzten Scriptura gucietan harçaz beraz ciraden gauçác.
And he bigan at Moises and at alle the prophetis, and declaride to hem in alle scripturis, that weren of hym.
28 Eta hurbil citecen ioaiten ciraden burgura, eta harc vrrunago ioaitera irudi eguiten çuen.
And thei camen nyy the castel, whidur thei wenten. And he made countenaunce that he wolde go ferthere.
29 Baina bortcha ceçaten, cioitela, Ago gurequin: ecen arratsa duc, eta eguna duc beheratu. Sar cedin bada hequin egoitera.
And thei constreyneden hym, and seiden, Dwelle with vs, for it drawith to nyyt, and the dai is now bowid doun.
30 Eta guertha cedin hequin mahainean iarriric cegoela, oguia harturic gratiác renda baitzitzan, eta hautsiric eman baitziecén.
And he entride with hem. And it was don, while he sat at the mete with hem, he took breed, and blesside, and brak, and took to hem.
31 Orduan irequi citecen hayén beguiac, eta eçagut ceçaten hura: baina hura ken cedin hayén aguerritic.
And the iyen of hem weren openyd, and thei knewen hym; and he vanyschide fro her iyen.
32 Eta erran ceçaten elkarren artean, Etzena gure bihotza erratzen gutan, minço çaicunean bidean, eta declaratzen cerauzquigunean Scripturác?
And thei seiden togidir, Whether oure herte was not brennynge in vs, while he spak in the weie, and openyde to vs scripturis?
33 Eta iaiquiric ordu hartan berean itzul citecen Ierusalemera, eta eriden citzaten elkargana bilduac hamecác, eta hequin ciradenac:
And thei risen vp in the same our, and wenten ayen in to Jerusalem, and founden the enleuene gaderid togidir, and hem that weren with hem,
34 Erraiten çutela, Resuscitatu da Iauna eguiazqui, eta aguertu içan çayó Simoni.
seiynge, That the Lord is risun verrili, and apperide to Symount.
35 Hec-ere conta citzaten bideco gauçác, eta nola heçaz eçagutu içan cen oguiaren haustean.
And thei tolden what thingis weren don in the weie, and hou thei knewen hym in brekyng of breed.
36 Eta gauça hauçaz minço ciradela, presenta cedin Iesus bera hayén artean, eta erran ciecén, Baquea dela çuequin.
And the while thei spaken these thingis, Jhesus stood in the myddil of hem, and seide to hem, Pees to you; Y am, nyle ye drede.
37 Baina hec trublaturic eta icituric, vste çutén spiritubat çacussatela.
But thei weren affraied and agast, and gessiden hem to se a spirit.
38 Orduan erran ciecén, Cergatic trublatu çarete, eta cergatic pensamenduac igaiten dirade çuen bihotzetara?
And he seide to hem, What ben ye troblid, and thouytis comen vp in to youre hertis?
39 Ikus itzaçue ene escuac eta ene oinac: ecen hura bera naiz ni, hazta neçaçue, eta mira: ecen spirituac haraguiric ez heçurric eztu, nola nic dudala baitacussaçue.
Se ye my hoondis and my feet, for Y my silf am. Fele ye, and se ye; for a spirit hath not fleisch and boonys, as ye seen that Y haue.
40 Eta gauça hauc erran cituenean, eracuts cietzén escuac eta oinac.
And whanne he hadde seid this thing, he schewide hoondis and feet to hem.
41 Baina oraino hec alegueraz sinhesten etzutela, eta miraz ceudela, erran ciecén, Baduçue hemen deus iatecoric?
And yit while thei bileueden not, and wondriden for ioye, he seide, Han ye here ony thing that schal be etun?
42 Orduan hec presenta cieçoten arrain erre çathibat, eta ezti orrace batetaric.
And thei proferden hym a part of a fisch rostid, and an hony combe.
43 Eta harturic hayén aitzinean ian ceçan.
And whanne he hadde etun bifore hem, he took that that lefte, and yaf to hem;
44 Eta erran ciecén, Hauc dirade erraiten nerauzquiçuen hitzac, oraino çuequin nincela, ecen behar ciradela complitu niçaz Moysesen Leguean, eta Prophetetan, eta Psalmuetan scribaturic dauden gauça guciac.
and seide `to hem, These ben the wordis that Y spak to you, whanne Y was yit with you; for it is nede that alle thingis ben fulfillid, that ben writun in the lawe of Moises, and in prophetis, and in salmes, of me.
45 Orduan irequi ceçan hayén adimendua, Scripturén aditzeco.
Thanne he openyde to hem wit, that thei schulden vnderstonde scripturis.
46 Eta erran ciecén, Hala da scribatua eta hala behar cen Christec suffri leçan, eta resuscita ledin hiletaric hereneco egunean.
And he seide to hem, For thus it is writun, and thus it bihofte Crist to suffre, and ryse ayen fro deeth in the thridde dai;
47 Eta predica ledin haren icenean penitentiá eta bekatuén barkamendua natione gucietan, hassiric Ierusalemetic.
and penaunce and remyssioun of synnes to be prechid in his name `in to alle folkis, bigynnynge at Jerusalem.
48 Eta çuec çarete testimonio gauça hauçaz: eta huná nic igorriren dut neure Aitaren promessa çuen gainera:
And ye ben witnessis of these thingis.
49 Baina çuec çaudete Ierusalemeco hirian verthutez garaitic vezti çaitezqueteno.
And Y schal sende the biheest of my fadir in to you; but sitte ye in the citee, til that ye be clothid with vertu from an hiy.
50 Guero eraman citzan camporát Bethaniarano eta bere escuac altchaturic, benedica citzan.
And he ledde hem forth in to Betanye, and whanne his hondis weren lift vp, he blesside hem.
51 Eta guertha cedin hec benedicatzen cituela, appartaturic hetaric, goiti altcha baitzedin cerurát.
And it was don, the while he blesside hem, he departide fro hem, and was borun in to heuene.
52 Eta hec hura adoraturic itzul citecen Ierusalemera, bozcario handirequin.
And thei worschipiden, and wenten ayen in to Jerusalem with greet ioye,
53 Eta ciraden bethi templean, laudatzen eta benedicatzen çutela Iaincoa. Amen.
and weren euermore in the temple, heriynge and blessynge God.
