< Lukas 15 >

1 Eta hurbiltzen ciraden harengana publicano eta gende vicitze gaichtotaco guciac, hura ençun leçatençát.
Then drew near to him all the publicans and sinners to hear him.
2 Eta murmuratzen çutén Phariseuéc eta Scribéc, cioitela, hunec gende vicitze gaichtotacoac recebitzen ditu, eta iaten du hequin.
And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
3 Baina harc erran ciecén comparatione haur, cioela,
And he spoke this parable to them, saying,
4 Cein guiçonec çuetaric ehun ardi dituela eta hetaric bat galtzen duela, eztitu vtziten lauroguey eta hemeretziac desertuan eta ezta ioaiten galduaren ondoan, hura eriden deçaqueno?
What man of you having a hundred sheep, if he loseth one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he findeth it?
5 Eta eriden duenean eçarten du bere sorbaldén gainean alegueraric.
And when he hath found [it], he layeth [it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 Guero ethorriric etchera, deitzen ditu adisquideac eta auçoac, diostela, Aleguera çaitezte enequin: ecen eriden dut neure ardi galdua.
And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

I say to you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who need no repentance.
8 Edo cein emazte hamar drachma dituenec, baldin gal badeça drachmabat, eztu arguia vizten eta etchea escobatzen, eta bilhatzen diligentqui hura eriden deçaqueno?
Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she loseth one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she findeth [it]?
9 Eta eriden duenean, deitzen ditu emazte adisquideac eta auçoac, dioela, Aleguera çaitezte enequin: ecen eriden dut galdu nuen drachmá.
And when she hath found [it], she calleth [her] friends and [her] neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
10 Hala, diotsuet, bozcario içanen dela Iaincoaren Aingueruén aitzinean, bekatore emendatzen den baten gainean.
Likewise, I say to you, There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
11 Halaber erran ceçan, Guiçon batec cituen bi seme:
And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 Eta hetaric gaztenac erran cieçón aitári, Aitá, indac onhassunetic niri heltzen çaitadan partea. Eta parti cietzén onac.
And the younger of them said to [his] father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth [to me]. And he divided to them [his] living.
13 Eta egun gutiren buruän, guciac bilduric seme gaztenor ioan cedin herri vrrun batetara: eta han irion ceçan bere onhassuna, prodigoqui vici içanez.
And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 Gucia despendatu vkan çuenean, eguin içan cen gossete gogorbat herri hartan, eta hura has cedin behar içaten:
And when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 Eta ioanic leku hartaco burgés batequin iar cedin, eta harc igor ceçan bere possessionetara vrdén bazcatzera.
And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 Eta desir çuen vrdéc iaten çuten maguinchetaric bere sabelaren bethatzera: eta nehorc etzeraucan emaiten.
And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat; and no man gave to him.
17 Eta bere buruäri ohart cequionean, erran ceçan, Cembat alocacer diraden ene aitaren etchean oguia frango dutenic, eta ni gossez hiltzen bainaiz!
And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I am perishing with hunger!
18 Iaiquiric ioanen naiz neure aitagana, eta erranen draucat, Aitá, huts eguin diat ceruären contra, eta hire aitzinean.
I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 Eta guehiagoric eznauc digne hire seme deitzeco: eguin neçac eure alocaceretaric bat beçala.
And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 Iaiquiric bada ethor cedin bere aitagana. Eta hura oraino vrrun cela, ikus ceçan bere aitac, eta compassione har ceçan, eta laster eguinic egotz ceçan bere buruä haren leppora, eta pot eguin cieçon.
And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 Eta erran cieçón semeac, Aitá, huts eguin diat ceruären contra, eta hire aitzinean, eta guehiagoric eznauc digne hire seme deitzeco.
And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 Orduan erran ciecén aitác bere cerbitzariey, Ekarçue arropa principalena, eta iaunz eçoçue: eta emoçue erhaztumbat bere escura, eta çapatac oinetara:
But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put [it] on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on [his] feet:
23 Eta ekarriric aretze guicena, hil eçaçue: eta iaten dugula atseguin har deçagun.
And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill [it]; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 Ecen ene seme haur hil cen, eta harçara viztu da: galdu cen, eta eriden da. Eta has citecen atseguin hartzen.
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25 Eta cen haren seme çaharrena landán, eta ethorten cela etcheari hurbildu çayonean, ençun citzan melodiá eta dançác.
Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.
26 Eta deithuric cerbitzarietaric bat, interroga ceçan hura cer cen.
And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27 Eta harc erran cieçón, hire anaye ethorri içan duc, eta hil vkan dic hire aitac aretze guicembat, ceren ossoric hura recebitu duen.
And he said to him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him in health.
28 Eta asserre cedin: eta etzén sarthu nahi içan: bere aitác bada ilkiric othoitz eguin cieçon.
And he was angry, and would not go in; therefore his father came out, and entreated him.
29 Baina harc ihardesten çuela erran cieçón bere aitari, Huná, hambat vrthe dic cerbitzatzen audala, eta egundano hire manuric eztiat iragan, eta egundano pitinabat eztrautac eman neure adisquidequin atseguin hartzeco.
And he answering, said to [his] father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither have I at any time transgressed thy commandment; and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 Baina hire seme haur, ceinec iretsi vkan baitu hire onhassun gucia putéquin, ethorri içan denean, hil vkan draucac huni aretze guicena.
But as soon as this thy son had come, who hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31 Eta harc erran cieçón, Semé, hi bethi enequin aiz, eta ene gucia hire duc:
And he said to him, Son, thou art ever with me: and all that I have is thine.
32 Eta atseguin hartu behar çuán eta alegueratu, ceren hire anaye haur hil baitzén, eta viztu baita, galdu baitzén, eta eriden baita.
It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
