< Joan 21 >

1 Guero manifesta cequién berriz Iesus discipuluey Tiberiaco itsas aldean, manifesta cedin bada hunela:
After these things Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. And he manifested [himself] thus.
2 Ciraden elkarrequin Simon Pierris, eta Thomas Didymus deitzen dena, eta Nathanael, cein baitzén Cana Galileaco, eta Zebedeoren semeac, eta haren discipuluetaric berceric biga.
There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael who was of Cana of Galilee, and the [sons] of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples.
3 Dioste Simon Pierrisec, Banoa arrainçara. Diotsate, Baguioaçac gu-ere hirequin. Parti citecen, eta igan citecen vncira bertan: eta gau hartan etzeçaten deus har.
Simon Peter says to them, I go to fish. They say to him, We also come with thee. They went forth, and went on board, and that night took nothing.
4 Baina goiça ethorri cenean, eriden cedin Iesus vr bazterrean: badaric-ere etzeçaten eçagut discipuluéc Iesus cela.
And early morn already breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; the disciples however did not know that it was Jesus.
5 Dioste bada Iesusec, Haourrác, iaquiric batre baduçue? Ihardets cieçoten, Ez.
Jesus therefore says to them, Children, have ye anything to eat? They answered him, No.
6 Eta harc dioste, Egotzaçue sarea vnciaren escuineco aldera, eta eridenen duçue. Egotz ceçaten bada, eta guehiagoric ecin hura tira ceçaqueten arrainén anhitzez.
And he said to them, Cast the net at the right side of the ship and ye will find. They cast therefore, and they could no longer draw it, from the multitude of fishes.
7 Diotsa bada Iesusec maite çuen discipulu harc Pierrisi, Iauna duc. Simon Pierris bada, ençun çuenean ecen Iauna cela, bere iuppáz ingura cedin (ceren billuzgorria baitzén) eta egotz ceçan bere buruä itsassora.
That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved says to Peter, It is the Lord. Simon Peter therefore, having heard that it was the Lord, girded his overcoat [on him] (for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea;
8 Eta berce discipuluac vncian ethor citecen, (ecen etziraden lurretic vrrun, baina ber-ehun bessoren inguruä) tiratzun çutela sarea arrainez bethea.
and the other disciples came in the small boat, for they were not far from the land, but somewhere about two hundred cubits, dragging the net of fishes.
9 Eta lurrera iautsi ciradenean ikus citzaten ikatzac eçarriac, eta arraina gainean eçarria eta oguia.
When therefore they went out on the land, they see a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread.
10 Dioste Iesusec, Ekarçue orain hartu dituçuen arrainetaric.
Jesus says to them, Bring of the fishes which ye have now taken.
11 Igan cedin Simon Pierris, eta tira ceçan sarea lurrera, ehun eta berroguey eta hamairur arrain handiz bethea: eta hambat bacen-ere, etzedin ethen sarea.
Simon Peter went up and drew the net to the land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty-three; and though there were so many, the net was not rent.
12 Dioste Iesusec, Çatozte barazcal çaitezte. Eta discipuluetaric batre etzayón venturatzen interrogatzera, Hi nor aiz? çaquitelaric ecen Iauna cela.
Jesus says to them, Come [and] dine. But none of the disciples dared inquire of him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
13 Ethorten da bada Iesus eta hartzen du oguia eta emaiten draue, eta arrainetic halaber.
Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them, and the fish in like manner.
14 Haur cen ia heren aldia Iesus bere discipuluey manifestatu içan çayena hiletaric resuscitatuz gueroztic.
This is already the third time that Jesus had been manifested to the disciples, being risen from among [the] dead.
15 Bada barazcaldu ciradenean, diotsá Simon Pierrisi Iesusec, Simon Ionaren semeá, hauc baino hobe dariztac? Diotsa, Bay Iauna: hic badaquic ecen on dariçadala. Diotsa, Bazcaitzac ene bildotsac.
When therefore they had dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He says to him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I am attached to thee. He says to him, Feed my lambs.
16 Diotsa are berriz, Simon Ionaren semeá, on dariztac niri? Diotsa, Bay Iauna, hic badaquic ecen on dariçadala. Diotsa, Bazcaitzac ene ardiac.
He says to him again a second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He says to him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I am attached to thee. He says to him, Shepherd my sheep.
17 Erraiten drauca herenean, Simon Ionaren semeá, on dariztac niri? Triste cedin Pierris ceren erran baitzieçón herenean, On dariztac niri? Eta erran cieçón, Iauna, hic gauça guciac badaquizquic, hic badaquic ecen on dariçadala. Diotsa Iesusec, Bazcaitzac ene ardiac.
He says to him the third time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, art thou attached to me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, Art thou attached to me? and said to him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I am attached to thee. Jesus says to him, Feed my sheep.
18 Eguiaz eguiaz erraiten drauat, gazteago incenean, guerricatzen incén, eta bahindoan norat nahi baihincén: baina çahar adinean, hedaturen dituc eure escuac, eta bercec guerricaturen au, eta eramanen au nahi eztuquean lekura.
Verily, verily, I say to thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst where thou desiredst; but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and bring thee where thou dost not desire.
19 Eta haur erran ceçan, aditzera emaiten çuela cer herioz glorificaturen çuen Iaincoa. Eta haur erran çuenean, diotsa, Arreit niri.
But he said this signifying by what death he should glorify God. And having said this, he says to him, Follow me.
20 Itzuliric Pierrisec ikus ceçan Iesusec maite çuen discipulu hura, iarreiquiten cela, cein sustengatu-ere baitzén affarian haren estomac gainera, eta erran baitzeçan, Iauna, nor da hi traditzen auena?
Peter, turning round, sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also leaned at supper on his breast, and said, Lord, who is it that delivers thee up?
21 Haur bada ikussi çuenean Pierrisec, diotsa Iesusi, Iauna, eta haur cer?
Peter, seeing him, says to Jesus, Lord, and what [of] this [man]?
22 Diotsa Iesusec, Baldin hori nahi badut dagoen nathorreno, cer mengoa duc hic? hi arreit niri.
Jesus says to him, If I will that he abide until I come, what [is that] to thee? Follow thou me.
23 Eta ilki cedin hitz haur anayén artean ecen discipulu hura etzela hilen: baina etzeraucan erran Iesusec, eztuc hilen: baina, Baldin hori nahi badut dagoen nathorreno, cer mengoa duc hic?
This word therefore went out among the brethren, That disciple does not die. And Jesus did not say to him, He does not die; but, If I will that he abide until I come, what [is that] to thee?
24 Haur da discipulu hura ceinec testificatzen baitu gauça hauçaz, eta gauça hauc harc scribatu ditu: eta badaquigu ecen eguiazco dela haren testimoniagea.
This is the disciple who bears witness concerning these things, and who has written these things; and we know that his witness is true.
25 Baina bada anhitz berce gauçaric-ere Iesusec eguinic, cein baldin scribatuac balirade punctuz punctu, munduac-ere eztut vste eduqui litzaqueela scriba litezquen liburuäc.
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which if they were written one by one, I suppose that not even the world itself would contain the books written.
