< Joan 12 >

1 Bada Iesus sey egun bazcoren aitzinetic ethor cedin Bethaniara, non baitzén Lazaro hil içan cena, cein resuscitatu baitzuen hiletaric.
But Jeshu six days before the petscha came to Bethania, where Loozar was, he whom Jeshu had raised from among the dead.
2 Eguin cieçoten bada hari affaribat han, eta Marthac cerbitzua eguiten çuen: eta Lazaro cen harequin mahainean iarriric ceudenetaric bat.
And they made him there a supper and Martha served, and Loozar was one of those who reclined with him.
3 Orduan Mariac harturic liberabat vnguentu aspic finez precio handitacoric, vncta citzan Iesusen oinac, eta ichuca citzan bere adatsaz: eta etchea bethe cedin vnguentuaren vrrinez.
But Mariam took a vase of balsam of the finest nard, great in price, and anointed the feet of Jeshu, and wiped with her hair his feet, and the house was filled with the fragrance of the balsam.
4 Orduan erran ceçan haren discipuluetaric batec, Iudas Iscariot Simonen semeac, hura tradituren çuenac.
And Jihuda Scarjuta, one of his disciples, he who would betray him said,
5 Ceren vnguentu haur ezta saldu içan hirurehun dinerotan, eta eman paubrey?
Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred dinoreen, and given to the poor?
6 Eta haur erran ceçan, ez paubrez harc ansiaric çuenez: baina ceren ohoin baitzen, eta mulsá baitzuen, eta eçarten ciradenac harc ekarten baitzituen.
But this he said, not because for the poor he had care, but because he was a thief, and the purse was with him, and whatever fell into it he carried.
7 Erran ceçan bada Iesusec, Vtzi eçac, ene sepultura eguneco hori beguiratu dic.
But Jeshu said, Let her alone. For the day of my burial had she kept it.
8 Ecen paubreac bethiere vkanen dituçue çuequin: baina ni eznauçue bethiere vkanen.
In all time the poor you have with you; but me you have not at all time.
9 Orduan eçagut ceçan Iuduetaric gendetze handic, ecen han cela: eta ethor citecen ez Iesusgatic solament, baina are Lazaro ikus leçatençat, cein harc hiletaric resuscitatu baitzuen.
And a great company of Jihudoyee who were there heard Jeshu. And they had come not on Jeshu's account only, but also to see Loozar, he whom he had raised from among the dead.
10 Eta consulta ceçaten Sacrificadore principalec Lazaro-ere hil leçatençát.
But the chief priests were minded to slay Loozar also,
11 Ecen Iuduetaric anhitz haren causaz ioaiten ciraden, eta sinhesten çuten Iesus baithan.
because many of the Jihudoyee on account of him had gone and believed in Jeshu.
12 Biharamunean bestara ethorri içan cen gendetze handic, ençunic ecen Iesus ethorten cela Ierusalemera,
THE day after, a great gathering of those who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jeshu was coming to Urishlem,
13 Har citzaten palma adarrac, eta ilki cequizquion aitzinera, eta oihu eguiten çutén, Hosanna, Benedicatu dela Iaunaren icenean ethorten den Israeleco reguea.
took branches of palms, and went forth to meet him. And they cried out, saying, Aushana! Blessed is he who cometh in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.
14 Eta eriden ceçan Iesusec asto-vme arbat, eta iar cedin haren gainean, scribatua den beçala,
And Jeshu caused to be found an ass, and sat upon him; as it is written,
15 Ezaicela beldur Siongo alabá: huná, hire Regue ethorten dun iarriric dagoela asto-vme ar-baten gainean.
Fear not, daughter of Tseun: behold, thy King cometh to thee, and riding on a colt, the foal of an ass.
16 Eta gauça hauc etzitzaten eçagut haren discipuluéc lehenetic: baina Iesus glorificatu içan cenean, orduan orhoit citecen ecen gauça hauc harçaz scribatuac ciradela, eta hari gauça hauc eguin cerautzatela.
But these the disciples knew not at that time; but when Jeshu was glorified, the disciples remembered that these were written concerning him, and (that) these (things) they had done unto him.
17 Eta testificatzen çuen harequin cen gendetzeac, ecen Lazaro deithu çuela monumentetic, eta hura resuscitatu çuela hiletaric.
But the assembly that was with him when he called Loozar from the sepulchre, and raised him from among the dead, bare witness.
18 Halacotz atzinera ethorri-ere içan çayón gendetzea, ecen ençun çuten, harc miraculu haur eguin çuela.
And on account of this, great multitudes went forth to receive him; for they had heard that this sign he had done.
19 Eta Phariseuéc erran ceçaten bere artean, Eztacussaçue ecen etzaretela deus probetchatzen? horrá, mundua haren ondoan ioan da.
But the Pharishee said one to another, See you that you do not profit any thing! For, behold, the whole world is gone after him.
20 Eta baciraden Grec batzu igaiten ohi ciradenetaric adoratzera bestán:
Now there were also from the Gentiles men who had ascended to worship at the feast.
21 Hauc bada ethor citecen Philippegana cein baitzén Bethsaidaco Galilean, eta othoitz eguin cieçoten, cioitela, Iauna, nahi guendiquec Iesus ikussi.
These came and drew near to Philipos, who was of Beth-tsaida of Galila; and they requested of him, and said to him, Mari, we desire to see Jeshu.
22 Ethorten da Philippe eta erraiten drauca Andriui, Andriuèc berriz eta Philippec erraiten draucate Iesusi.
And Philipos came and told Andreas, and Andreas and Philipos told Jeshu.
23 Eta Iesusec ihardets ciecén, cioela, Ethorri da ordua guiçonaren Semea glorificaturen baita.
BUT Jeshu answered and said to them, The hour hath come that the Son of man may be glorified.
24 Eguiaz eguiaz erraiten drauçuet, baldin ogui bihia lurrera eroriric hil ezpadadi, hura bera dago: baina baldin hil badadi fructu anhitz ekarten du.
Amen, amen, I say to you, That a grain of wheat if it fall not and die in the earth remaineth alone; but if it die, it bringeth much fruits.
25 Bere viciari on daritzanac galduren du hura: eta bere viciari gaitz daritzanac mundu hunetan, vicitze eternalecotzat beguiraturen du hura. (aiōnios g166)
He who loveth his life shall lose it; and he who hateth his life in this world shall keep it to the life which is eternal. (aiōnios g166)
26 Baldin ni cembeitec cerbitzatzen banau, niri iarreiqui bequit: eta non ni içanen bainaiz, han ene cerbitzaria-ere içanen da: eta baldin cembeitec ni cerbitza baneça, ohoraturen du hura ene Aitac.
If any man serve me, let him come after me; and where I am, there shall be also my servant: whoever serveth me, him will my Father honour.
27 Orain ene arimá trublatua da: eta cer erranen dut? Aitá, empara neçac oren hunetaric: baina halacotz ethorri nauc oren hunetara.
Now my soul, behold it is commoved; and what shall I say? My Father, deliver me from this hour:
28 Aitá, glorifica eçac eure icena. Ethor cedin orduan vozbat cerutic, cioela, Eta glorificatu diat, eta berriz glorificaturen.
but on account of this have I come unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. And the voice was heard from heaven, I have glorified, and again I glorify.
29 Eta gendetze han cenac, eta ençun çuenac, cioen, igorciribat eguin çuela. Bercéc cioiten, Aingueruä minçatu içan çayo.
And the company who stood, heard, and they said there was thunder. But others said, An angel spake with him.
30 Ihardets ceçan Iesusec eta erran, Ezta enegatic voz haur eguin içan, baina çuengatic.
Jeshu answered and said to them, Not on my account was this voice, but on your account.
31 Orain da mundu hunen iugemendua: orain mundu hunetaco princea egotziren da campora.
Now is the judgment of this world; now is the ruler of this world cast out.
32 Eta nic, baldin goititua banaiz lurretic, guciac tiraturen ditut neuregana.
And I, when I have been lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33 (Eta haur erraiten çuen, aditzera emaiten çuela cer herioz hil behar çuen)
But this he said to show by what death he should die.
34 Ihardets cieçón gendetzeac, Guc ençun diagu Leguetic, ecen Christ badagoela eternalqui: eta nola hic erraiten duc ecen behar dela goiti dadin guiçonaren Semea? nor da guiçonarenSeme hori? (aiōn g165)
The people said to him, We have heard from the law that the Meshicha for ever abideth: how sayest thou that the Son of man is to be lifted up? Who is this Son of man? (aiōn g165)
35 Erran ciecén orduan Iesusec, Oraino dembora guti batetacotz Arguia çuequin da: ebil çaitezte Arguia duçueno, ilhumbeac ardiets etzaitzatençát: ecen ilhumbean dabilanac, eztaqui norat ioaiten den.
Jeshu saith to them, A little further time is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, that the darkness overtake you not. And whoever walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 Arguia duçueno sinhets eçaçue. Arguia baithan, Arguiaren seme çaretençat. Gauça hauc erran citzan Iesusec: guero ioanic gorde cedin hetaric.
While you have the light, believe in the light, that the sons of light you may become. These spake Jeshu, and went (and) concealed himself from them.
37 Eta hambat miraculu eguin baçuen-ere hayén aitzinean, etzuten sinhesten hura baithan:
Yet though all these signs he had done before them, they believed not in him:
38 Esaias prophetaren hitza compli ledinçát, cein erran vkan baitu, Iauna, norc sinhetsi vkan du gure hitza, eta Iaunaren bessoa nori reuelatu içan çayo?
that the word of the prophet Eshaia might be fulfilled, who said, My Lord, who hath believed our report, And the arm of the Lord, to whom hath it been revealed?
39 Halacotz ecin sinhets ceçaqueten, ceren berriz erran baitu Esaiasec,
Because of this they were not able to believe: Wherefore again Eshaia had said,
40 Itsutu vkan ditu hayén beguiac, eta gogortu vkan du hayén bihotza: beguiz ikus ezteçatençat, eta bihotzez adi ez teçaten, eta conuerti ez titecen, eta senda ez titzadan.
He hath blinded their eyes, And darkened their heart, That they should not see with their eyes, And understand with their heart, And be turned, and I should heal them.
41 Gauça hauc erran citzan Esaiasec, haren gloriá ikussi çuenean, eta minçatu içan da harçaz.
These said Eshaia when he saw his glory, and spake concerning him.
42 Badaric-ere principaletaric-ere anhitzec hura baithan sinhets ceçaten: baina Phariseuacgatic etzuten aithortzen, synagogatic campora egotz litecen beldurrez.
Yet of the chiefs also many believed in him: but because of the Pharishee they did not confess, that they might not be put out of the synagogue:
43 Ecen maiteago vkan dute guiçonén gloriá, ecen ez Iaincoaren gloriá.
for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of Aloha.
44 Orduan oihu eguin ceçan Iesusec, eta erran ceçan, Ni baithan sinhesten duenac, eztu sinhesten ni baithan, baina ni igorri nauena baithan.
But Jeshu cried and said, He who believeth in me, believeth not in me, but in him who sent me.
45 Eta ni ikusten nauenac, ikusten du ni igorri nauena.
And he who seeth me seeth him who sent me.
46 Ni Argui mundura ethorri naiz, ni baithan sinhesten duenic batre, ilhumbean eztagoençát
I the light am come into the world, that every one who believeth in me might not abide in darkness.
47 Eta baldin nehorc ençun baditza ene hitzac, eta ez sinhets, nic eztut condemnatzen hura: ecen eznaiz ethorri mundua condemna deçadançát, baina mundua salua deçadançat.
And he who heareth my words, and doth not keep them, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 Ni iraizten nauenac, eta ez recebitzen ene hitzac, badu norc hura condemna deçan: ni minçatu naicen hitzac condemnaturen du hura azquen egunean,
He who rejecteth me, and receiveth not my word, hath that which judgeth him: the word which I speak, that judgeth him in the last day.
49 Ecen ni neure burutic eznaiz minçatu: baina ni igorri nauen Aitac berac manamendu eman draut, cer erran deçaquedan eta cer minça naiten.
For I of myself have not spoken, but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 Eta badaquit ecen haren manamendua vicitze eternal dela: bada nic erraiten ditudan gauçác, nola Aitac eman baitrauzquit, hala erraiten ditut. (aiōnios g166)
And I know that his commandments are life everlasting: these therefore which I speak, as said to me my Father, so I speak. (aiōnios g166)
