< Hebrearrei 3 >

1 Bada, anaye sainduác, vocatione celestialen participant çaretenác, considera eçaçue gure confessioneco Apostolua eta Sacrificadore subiranoa, cein baita, Iesus Christ,
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,
2 Ordenatu vkan duenarençat fidel dena: Moyses-ere haren etche gucian beçala.
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
3 Ecen hambatez haur Moyses baino gloria handiagoren digne estimatu içan da, cembatez ohore handiagotan baita etchea edifiçatu duena, ecen ez etchea bera.
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 Ecen etche oro norbeitez edificatzen da: eta gauça hauc guciac edificatu dituena, Iaincoa da.
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 Eta segur Moyses fidel içan da haren etche gucian cerbitzari beçala, guero erraiteco ciraden gaucén testificatzeco:
Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 Baina Christ seme beçala da bere etchean: ceinen etchea baicara gu, baldin confidançá eta gloriatzen garen sperançá finerano fermu eduqui baditzagu.
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7 Halacotz Spiritu sainduac erraiten duen beçala, Egun baldin haren voza ençun badeçaçue
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
8 Eztitzaçuela gogor çuen bihotzac, tharritamenduan beçala, tentationeco egunean desertuan:
don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9 Non tentatu vkan bainaute çuen aitéc, experimentatu vkan bainaute- eta ikussi baitituzte ene obrác berroguey vrthez.
where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
10 Halacotz enoyatu içan naiz generatione hunez, eta erran vkan dut, Bethiere huts eguiten duté bihotzez, eta eztituzté eçagutu vkan ene bideac.
Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
11 Bada cin eguin vkan dut neure hirán, Baldin seculan sarthuren badirade ene reposean
As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
12 Gogoauçue, anayeác, çuetaric cembeitetan eztén bihotz sinheste gabetaco gaichtoa, Iainco viciaganic reuoltagarri:
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 Baina exhorta eçaçue elkar egun oroz, egungo egun deitzen deno, çuetaric nehor gogor eztadinçát bekatuaren enganioz.
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 Ecen Christen participant eguin içan gara, bay baldin hatse hura, ceinez sustengatzen baicara, fermu eduqui badeçagu finerano.
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
15 Erraiten deno, Egun baldin haren voza ençun badeçaçue, eztitzaçuela gogor çuen bihotzac tharritamenduan beçala.
while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
16 Ecen batzuc ençun vkan çutenean, tharrita ceçaten Iauna: baina ez Egyptetic Moysesez ilki içan ciraden guciéc.
For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
17 Baina ceinéz enoyatu içan da berroguey vrthez? ala ez bekatu eguin vkan çutenéz, ceinén gorputzac erori içan baitirade desertuan?
With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 Eta ceini cin eguin cerauen, haren reposean etziradela sarthuren, obeditu vkan etzuteney baicen?
To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 Eta badacussagu incredulitatearen causaz ecin sarthu içan diradela.
We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
