1 Beraz Christec libre eguin gaituen libertatean, çaudete fermu, eta berriz etzaiteztela eduqui suiectionezco vztarriaz.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2 Huná, nic Paulec erraiten drauçuet ecen baldin circoncidi baçaiteztez Christ etzaiçuela deus probetchaturen.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3 Eta testificatzen draucat berriz circonciditzen den guiçon guciari, ecen hura Legue guciaren beguiratzera çordun dela.

For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4 Christez gabetu çarete Legueaz iustificatu nahi çareten gucioc: eta gratiatic erori çarete.

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5 Ecen gu fedetic den Spirituaz iustitiazco sperançaren beguira gaude:

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6 Ecen Iesus Christean ez circoncisioneac du deus balio, ezeta preputioac: baina charitatez obratzen duen fedeac.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

7 Vngui laster eguiten cenduten, norc empatchatu çaituztéz, eguia obedi etzeneçaten?

Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

8 Persuasione hori ezta çuec deitzen çaituztenaganic.

This persuasion [cometh] not of him that calleth you.

9 Altchagarri appurbatec orhe gucia mincen du

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

10 Ni seguratzen naiz çueçaz gure Iaunean, ecen eztuçuela berce sendimenduric vkanen: baina çuec trublatzen çaituztenac, ekarriren du condemnationea, norere baita hura.

I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

11 Bada niçaz den becembatean, anayeác, baldin are circoncisionea predicatzen badut, cergatic are persecutatzen naiz? beraz abolitu da crutzeazco scandaloa.

And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

12 Ailitez trenca çuec trublatzen çaituztenac.

I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

13 Ecen, anayeác, çuec libertatera deithu içan çaréte: solament beguirauçue, libertatea eztén haraguiari occasionetan: baina elkar charitatez cerbitza eçaçue.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 Ecen Legue gucia hitz batetan complitzen da, cein baita, Onhetsiren duc eure hurcoa eure buruä beçala.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 Baldineta elkar aussiquiten eta iresten baduçue: beguirauçue bata berceaz consumi etzaitezten.

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 Eta haur erraiten drauçuet, Spirituaren araura ebil çaiteztez: eta haraguiaren guthiciac eztitzaçuela compli.

[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 Ecen haraguiac guthiciatzen du Spirituaren contrá, eta Spirituac haraguiaren contra: eta gauça hauc elkarren contra dirade: hala non nahi dituçuen gauça guciac ezpaitituçue eguiten.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 Baldineta Spirituaz guidatzen baçarete, etzarete Leguearen azpico.

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Bada, çogueriac dirade haraguiaren obrác, cein baitirade, adulterioa, paillardiçá, satsutassuna, insolentiá,

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatriá, poçoinqueriá, etsaigoác, bekaizteriác, asserretassunac, liscarrac, diuisioneac, heresiác,

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Inuidiác, guiça-erhaitecác, hordiqueriác, gormandiçác, eta hauc irudiac, gauça hauc aitzinetic erraiten drauzquiçuet, lehen- ere erran dudan beçala: ecen halaco gauçác eguiten dituztenéc Iaincoaren resumá heretaturen eztutela.

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 Bailla Spirituaren fructua da charitatea, alegrançá, baquea, spiritu patienta, benignitatea, ontassuna, fedea, emetassuna, temperantiá.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Hunelacoén contra legueric ezta.

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 Ecen Christen diradenéc haraguia crucificatu duté affectionéquin eta guthiciéquin.

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 Baldin vici bagara Spirituz, Spirituz ebil-ere gaitecen.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Ezgaitecela vana-gloria guthicioso eguin, elkar tharritatuz, elkargana inuidia vkanez.

Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
