1 Rəbb Musa ilə Haruna belə dedi:
And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,
2 «İsrail övladlarına belə deyin: “Quruda yaşayan heyvanlardan belələrinin ətini yemək olar.
Speak to the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 Hər hansı qoşadırnaqlı gövşəyən heyvanın ətini yeyə bilərsiniz.
Whatever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 Lakin gövşəyən yaxud qoşadırnaqlı heyvanlar içində bunları yeməyin: dəvə, çünki o gövşəsə də, qoşadırnaqlı deyil, buna görə də sizin üçün haramdır;
Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean to you.
5 qayadovşanı, çünki o gövşəsə də qoşadırnaqlı deyil, buna görə də sizin üçün haramdır;
And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean to you.

And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean to you.
7 donuz, çünki o qoşadırnaqlı olsa da, gövşəmir, buna görə də sizin üçün haramdır.
And the swine, though he divideth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 Onların nə ətini yeyin, nə də leşinə toxunun, onlar sizin üçün haramdır.
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
9 Sularda, dənizlərdə yaxud çaylarda yaşayan heyvanlardan üzgəcləri və pulcuqları olanların hamısını yeyə bilərsiniz.
These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 Amma sularda, dənizlərdə yaxud çaylarda qaynaşan heyvanlardan üzgəcləri və pulcuqları olmayan hər canlı məxluq sizin üçün iyrənc olsun.
And all that have not fins nor scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living creature which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination to you:
11 Onların ətini yeməyin və leşindən iyrənin; onlar sizin üçün iyrənc olsun.
They shall be even an abomination to you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Sularda üzgəcləri və pulcuqları olmayanların hamısı sizin üçün iyrənc olsun.
Whatever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination to you.
13 Quşlardan bunları iyrənc olduğuna görə yeməyin: qartal, keçələkərkəs, qaraquş,
And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
14 çalağan, bütün şahin cinsindən olanlar,
And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
15 bütün qarğa cinsindən olanlar,
Every raven after his kind;
16 dəvəquşu, bayquş, qağayı, bütün qırğı cinsindən olanlar,
And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
17 yapalaq, qarabatdaq, böyük bayquş,
And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
18 ağ bayquş, qutan, leş kərkəsi,
And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
19 leylək, bütün vağ cinsindən olanlar, şanapipik, yarasa.
And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
20 Dördayaqla gəzən, qanadlı qaynaşan heyvanların hamısı da sizin üçün iyrənc olsun.
All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination to you.
21 Lakin dördayaqla gəzən, qanadlı qaynaşan heyvanlardan yerdə sıçramaq üçün oynaqlı ayaqları olanları yeyə bilərsiniz;
Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap with upon the earth;
22 onlardan bütün çəyirtkə cinsindən olanları, bütün keçəl çəyirtkə cinsindən olanları, bütün sisək cinsindən olanları, bütün şala cırcıraması cinsindən olanları yemək olar.
Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the beetle after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.
23 Bütün digər dördayaqlı qanadlı qaynaşan heyvanlar isə sizin üçün iyrənc olsun.
But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination to you.
24 Bu heyvanlardan siz özünüz murdar ola bilərsiniz. Hər kim onların leşinə toxunursa, axşama qədər murdar sayılsın.
And for these ye shall be unclean: whoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the evening.
25 Onların leşindən bir hissəsini daşıyan hər kəs də geyimlərini yusun; axşama qədər murdar sayılsın.
And whoever beareth any of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
26 Qoşadırnağı olmayan yaxud gövşəməyən hər dırnaqlı heyvan sizin üçün murdar olsun. Onların leşinə toxunan hər kəs murdar sayılsın.
The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean to you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
27 Pəncələri üstündə yeriyən dördayaqlı hər heyvan sizin üçün murdar olsun; onların leşinə toxunan hər kəs axşama qədər murdar sayılsın.
And whatever goeth upon its paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean to you: whoever toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the evening.
28 Onların leşini daşıyan geyimlərini yusun və axşama qədər murdar sayılsın. Bu heyvanlar sizin üçün murdar sayılsın.
And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening: they are unclean to you.
29 Yerdə qaynaşan heyvanlar arasında sizin üçün murdar olan bunlardır: kor siçan, siçan, hər növ kərtənkələ,
These also shall be unclean to you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after its kind,
30 gekkon, varan, kərtəncik, kələz, buqələmun.
And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
31 Bunlar bütün qaynaşan heyvanlar arasında sizin üçün murdar olsun. Onların leşinə toxunan hər kəs axşamadək murdar sayılsın.
These are unclean to you among all that creep: whoever doth touch them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the evening.
32 Onlardan birisinin leşi üstünə düşən hər şey murdar sayılsın. Hər taxta, parça, dəri yaxud giş əşya nə cür iş üçün işlənsə, suya salınsın. Axşama qədər murdar sayılsın, axşamdan sonra təmiz sayılsın.
And upon whatever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, in which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; so it shall be cleansed.
33 Onlardan biri gil qabın içinə düşsə, onun içindəki hər şey murdar sayılsın və qab qırılsın.
And every earthen vessel, into which any of them falleth, whatever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
34 Belə bir qabdan su xörəyin içinə tökülsə, o xörək murdarlanır. Bu cür qabın içində hər içki murdarlanır.
Of all food which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
35 O heyvanlardan birinin leşi üstünə düşən hər bir şey murdar sayılsın. İstər təndir, istərsə də ocaq sökülsün, çünki murdarlanıb; onlar sizin üçün murdar olsun.
And every thing on which any part of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether an oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
36 Ancaq su bulağı yaxud su anbarı pak sayılsın. Bu heyvanların leşinə toxunan hər kəs murdar sayılsın.
Nevertheless a fountain or pit, in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
37 Bunlardan birinin leşi əkin üçün ayrılmış toxumun üstünə düşərsə, o toxum təmiz sayılsın.
And if any part of their carcase shall fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
38 Amma leş suya salınmış toxumun üstünə düşərsə, toxum sizin üçün murdar olsun.
But if any water shall be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase shall fall on it, it shall be unclean to you.
39 Əti sizin üçün yeməli olan heyvanlardan biri ölərsə, leşinə toxunan adam axşama qədər murdar sayılsın.
And if any beast, of which ye may eat, shall die; he that toucheth its carcase shall be unclean until the evening.
40 O heyvanın leşindən yeyən adam geyimini yusun və axşama qədər murdar sayılsın. Leşini daşıyan adam da geyimləri yusun və axşama qədər murdar sayılsın.
And he that eateth of its carcase shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening: he also that beareth its carcase shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.
41 Yer üzündə sürünən hər qaynaşan heyvan sizin üçün iyrənc olsun; onu yeməyin.
And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
42 İstər qarnı üstündə, istər dörd ayağı ilə sürünən ya da yer üzündəki çoxayaqlı olan qaynaşan heyvanlardan yeməyin, çünki onlar iyrəncdir.
Whatever goeth upon the belly, and whatever goeth upon all four, or whatever hath many feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
43 Qaynaşan heyvanların heç biri ilə özünüzü iyrənc edib murdarlamayın, çünki onlara görə siz murdar olarsınız.
Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled by them.
44 Allahınız Rəbb Mənəm. Özünüzü təqdis edin və müqəddəs olun, çünki Mən müqəddəsəm; özünüzü yerdə sürünən heç bir qaynaşan heyvanla murdar etməyin.
For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
45 Çünki Allahınız olmaq üçün sizi Misir torpağından çıxaran Rəbb Mənəm. Müqəddəs olun, çünki Mən müqəddəsəm”».
For I am the LORD that bringeth you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
46 Heyvan, quş, sularda üzən hər cür canlı məxluq, yer üzündə qaynaşan hər cür heyvan haqqında təlimat budur.
This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
47 Bununla pakla murdar şeylər arasında, yeyilən və yeyilməyən heyvanlar arasında fərq qoyulur.
To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
