Yeremya 2
1 Mənə Rəbbin sözü nazil oldu: «Get Yerusəlimə ucadan elan et ki,
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 Rəbb belə deyir: “Mən sənin cavanlığındakı mehrini, Gəlin olanda məhəbbətini, Səhrada, ot bitməyən torpaqda ardımca gəldiyini yadıma saldım.
Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thy espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.
3 Onda İsrail Rəbbə həsr olunmuşdu Və Onun məhsulunun nübarı idi. Onu udmaq istəyənlərin hamısı mühakimə olunur, Üstlərinə bəla gəlirdi” Rəbb belə bəyan edir.
Israel was holiness to the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD.
4 Ey Yaqub nəsli, ey İsrail nəslinin bütün tayfaları, Rəbbin sözünü eşidin,
Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:
5 Rəbb belə deyir: “Atalarınız Məndə nə haqsızlıq tapdılar ki, Məndən uzaqlaşdılar və puç bütlər ardınca getdilər, Özləri də puç adam oldular.
Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and have become vain?
6 Daha demədilər ki, Misir torpağından bizi çıxaran, Səhrada, uçurumlarla dolu boz çöllərdə, Ölüm kölgəsində qalan quraq torpaqda, Bir insanın keçmədiyi, heç kəsin yaşamadığı Diyarda gəzdirən Rəbb haradadır?
Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
7 Mən sizi bərəkətli torpağa gətirdim ki, Onun meyvələrindən və nemətlərindən dadasınız. Ancaq siz oraya girən kimi torpağımı murdar etdiniz, Mülkümü iyrənc bir yerə çevirdiniz.
And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit of it and the goodness of it but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.
8 Kahinlər ‹Rəbbi axtaraq› demədilər, Qanun müəllimləri Məni tanımadılar, Rəhbərlər Mənə qarşı üsyan etdilər, Peyğəmbərlər Baalın adı ilə peyğəmbərlik etdilər, Faydasız şeylərin dalınca getdilər”.
The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
9 Buna görə Rəbb belə bəyan edir: “Mən yenə sizinlə çəkişəcəyəm, Mən övladlarınızın övladları ilə də çəkişəcəyəm.
Therefore I will yet plead with you, saith the LORD, and with your children’s children will I plead.
10 Siz Kittim adalarına gedib görün, Qedara adam göndərib öyrənin. Görün belə bir şey oldumu?
For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send to Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there is such a thing.
11 Bir millət allahlarını dəyişdirdimi? Əslində onlar allah deyil. Ancaq Mənim xalqım öz Calalını faydasız bütlərə dəyişdi.
Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
12 Ey göylər, siz buna heyrət edib tir-tir əsin və dəhşətə gəlin” Rəbb belə bəyan edir.
Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.
13 “Çünki xalqım iki pis əməl etdi: Məni – axar suların mənbəyini atıb Özlərinə hovuzlar, su saxlamayan çatlı hovuzlar düzəltdilər.
For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed out for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
14 Məgər İsrail quldur? Yoxsa o, kölə doğulmuşdu? Bəs nə üçün qarət malı oldu?
Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he laid waste?
15 Onun üstünə cavan aslanlar nərildədi və səslərini ucaltdılar. Ölkəsini viran etdilər. Şəhərləri yandı, bir nəfər sakin qalmadı.
The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.
16 Nof və Taxpanxes sakinləri sənin başını yardı.
Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head.
17 Səni yolla aparan Allahın Rəbbi tərk etməklə Bu işi öz başına gətirmədinmi?
Hast thou not procured this to thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee by the way?
18 Bəs Şixor suyundan içmək üçün Misirə niyə gedirsən? Fərat suyundan içmək üçün Aşşura niyə gedirsən?
And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
19 Səni öz pisliyin cəzalandıracaq, Dönüklüyün töhmətini alacaqsan. Sən də görüb bil ki, Allahın Rəbbi atmağın, Məndən qorxmamağın pis və acı şeydir” Ordular Rəbbi Xudavənd belə bəyan edir.
Thy own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
20 “Sən boyunduruğunu ta qədimdən qırdın, iplərini qopardın Və ‹sənə qulluq etməyəcəyəm› dedin. Üstəlik hər uca təpənin üstündə, Hər kölgəli ağacın altında yerə sərilib Bütlərə səcdə edərək Mənə xəyanət etdin.
For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot.
21 Mən səni gözəl meynə, tər-təmiz toxum kimi əkmişdim. Sən necə əleyhimə çıxıb cır, yabanı meynə oldun?
Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine to me?
22 İndi isə sən gilabı ilə yuyunsan, çoxlu sabun əritsən də, Yenə günahın önümdə ləkə kimi qalacaq” Xudavənd Rəbb belə bəyan edir.
For though thou shalt wash thee with lye, and take thee much soap, yet thy iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.
23 “Axı necə deyə bilərsən ki, murdar olmadım, Baal bütlərinin ardınca getmədim? Dərədə necə rəftar etdiyinə bax, nə etdiyini gör. Sən qızışan, ora-bura qaçan dişi dəvə kimi,
How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
24 Şəhvətlə havanı iyləyən, səhraya öyrəşmiş vəhşi eşşək kimisən. Qızanda onu kim saxlaya bilər? Onu istəyənlər özlərini yormaz, cütləşmə vaxtı onu tapar.
A wild donkey used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.
25 Ayaqyalın gəzmə, boğazın susuzluqdan qurumasın. Ancaq sən dedin: ‹Xeyr, olmaz! Çünki mən yad allahları sevdim və onların ardınca gedəcəyəm›.
Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
26 Oğru tutulanda necə utanırsa, İsrail nəsli də padşahları, başçıları, kahinləri Və peyğəmbərləri ilə birgə eləcə utanırlar.
As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,
27 Onlar ağaca ‹atamsan›, daşa ‹bizi sən doğdun› deyir. Çünki Mənə tərəf üzlərini deyil, arxalarını çevirdilər. Ancaq üstlərinə bəla gələndə ‹qalxıb bizi qurtar› deyirlər.
Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back to me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.
28 Bəs özün üçün düzəltdiyin bütlərin haradadır? Başına bəla gəldiyi vaxt səni qurtara bilərlərsə, gəlsinlər. Sənin allahların şəhərlərinin sayı qədərdir, ey Yəhuda!
But where are thy gods that thou hast made for thyself? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
29 Nə üçün Mənimlə çəkişirsiniz? Hamınız Mənə qarşı üsyan etdiniz” Rəbb belə bəyan edir.
Why will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD.
30 “Övladlarınızı nahaq yerə cəzalandırdım, Çünki onlar ibrət götürmədilər. Öz qılıncınız qırıb-çatan aslan kimi Peyğəmbərlərinizi tələf etdi”.
In vain have I smitten your children; they have received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
31 Ey bu nəslin övladları, Rəbbin sözünə diqqət edin: “Məgər Mən İsrail üçün bir səhra oldum? Yaxud bir zülmət ölkəsi oldum? Xalqım nə üçün deyir ki, biz öz-özümüzə ağayıq, Bir daha Sənə tərəf gəlmərik?
O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? a land of darkness? why say my people, We are lords; we will come no more to thee?
32 Qız öz bəzəklərini, gəlin öz cehizini unuda bilərmi? Ancaq xalqım uzun müddət Məni unutdu.
Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.
33 Oynaşlarının ardınca düşməkdə nə qədər mahirsən. Ən pis arvadlar belə, səndən dərs ala bilər.
Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.
34 Sənin ətəklərin öldürdüyün Məzlum, günahsız adamların qanına bulaşıb, Halbuki onları oğurluq üstündə tutmadın. Hələ bununla belə,
Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
35 Sən deyirsən: ‹Mən təqsirsizəm, Rəbbin qəzəbi hökmən məndən yan keçəcək›. Bax Mən səni mühakimə edəcəyəm, Çünki günah etmədiyini söyləyirsən.
Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.
36 Nə üçün tez-tez dolanıb dönüklük edirsən? Aşşurda pərt olduğun kimi Misirdə də pərt olacaqsan.
Why dost thou go about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria.
37 Oradan da əllərinlə başını tutub çıxacaqsan, Çünki bel bağladıqlarını Rəbb rədd etdi, Onlarla uğur qazana bilməyəcəksən”.
Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thy hands upon thy head: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them.
