1 ১ হে স্বৰ্গৰ সিংহাসনত থাকোঁতা জনা, মই তোমাৰ ফালেই মোৰ চকু তুলি চাই থাকোঁ।

To you lift I up my eyes, O you that dwell in the heavens.

2 ২ গৰাকীৰ হাতলৈ যেনেকৈ দাসবোৰৰ চকু থাকে, আৰু দাসীৰ চকু যেনেকৈ গৰাকীয়ণীৰ হাতৰ ফালে থাকে, তেনেকৈ আমাক কৃপা নকৰা পর্যন্ত আমাৰ চকুৱে আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱালৈ চাই থাকে।

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait on the LORD our God, until that he have mercy on us.

3 ৩ আমাক কৃপা কৰা, হে যিহোৱা, আমাক কৃপা কৰা; কিয়নো আমি লোকসকলৰ তুচ্ছ-তাচ্ছিল্যত অধিককৈ পোঁত গ’লো।

Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4 ৪ আমাৰ প্রাণে বহন কৰিব পৰাতকৈ লোকসকলৰ বিদ্রূপ আৰু অহঙ্কাৰীবোৰৰ অপমান অধিক হ’ল।

Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
