যেরেমিয়া 6
1 ১ “হে বিন্যামীনৰ সন্তান সকল, তোমালোকে যিৰূচালেমৰ মাজৰ পৰা ৰক্ষাৰ পাবৰ বাবে পলোৱা, আৰু তকোৱাত শিঙা বজোৱা। আৰু বৈৎহক্কেৰমত এক নিচান তোলা; কিয়নো উত্তৰ ফালৰ পৰা এক অমঙ্গল আৰু মহাসংহাৰে দেখা দিছে।
Strengthen yourselves, ye children of Benjamin, [to flee] out of the midst of Jerusalem, and sound an alarm with the trumpet in Thecue, and set up a signal over Baethacharma: for evil threatens from the north, and a great destruction is coming.
And [thy] pride, O daughter of Sion, shall be taken away.
3 ৩ মেৰ-ছাগ ৰখীয়াবোৰে নিজ নিজ জাক লগত লৈ তাইৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিব; তেওঁলোকে তাইৰ বিৰুদ্ধে চাৰিওফালে নিজ নিজ তম্বু তৰিব, আৰু প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ঠাইত চৰিব।
The shepherds and their flocks shall come to her; and they shall pitch [their] tents against her round about, and shall feed [their flocks] each with his hand.
4 ৪ তোমালোকে তাইৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধৰ আয়োজন কৰা। “আমি উঠি দুপৰীয়া যাত্ৰা কৰোঁহক। কি দুখৰ বিষয়! চোৱা, দিনৰ শেষ হৈছে, এনে কি, সন্ধিয়া বেলাৰ ছাঁ দীঘলীয়া হৈছে।
Prepare yourselves for war against her; rise up, and let us go up against her at noon. Woe to us! for the day has gone down, for the shadows of the day fail.
Rise, and let us go up against her by night, and destroy her foundations.
6 ৬ কিয়নো বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: তোমালোকে কাঠ কাটি যিৰূচালেমৰ অহিতে দ’ম বান্ধা। সেয়ে দণ্ড পাবলগীয়া নগৰী; তাৰ মাজত সম্পূৰ্ণ অত্যাচাৰ আছে।
For thus saith the Lord, Hew down her trees, array a numerous force against Jerusalem. O false city; [there is] all oppression in her.
7 ৭ যেনকৈ ভুমুকে নিজৰ শীতল পানী উলিয়াই থাকে, তেনেকৈ তাই নিজৰ দুষ্টতা উলিয়াই থাকে। তাইৰ মাজত অত্যাচাৰ আৰু লুটৰ কথা শুনা যায়; নৰিয়া পৰা আৰু ঘা লগা সদায় মোৰ চকুত পৰে।
As a cistern cools water, so her wickedness cools her, ungodliness and misery shall be heard in her, [as] continually before her.
8 ৮ হে যিৰূচালেম, সতৰ্ক হোৱা, নহ’লে মোৰ মন তোমাৰ পৰা নিলগত হব; নহ’লে মই তোমাক উচ্ছন্ন ঠাই আৰু নিবাসীহীন দেশ কৰিম।
Thou shalt be chastened, O Jerusalem, with pain and the scourge, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee a desert land, which shall not be inhabited.
9 ৯ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: যে তেওঁলোকে দ্ৰাক্ষাফলৰ দৰে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ অৱশিষ্টখিনি সম্পূৰ্ণকৈ গোটাব। দ্ৰাক্ষাগুটি চপাওঁতা জনৰ নিচিনা তুমি বাৰে বাৰে পাচিলৈ হাত নিয়া।
For thus saith the Lord, Glean, glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel: turn back [your hands] as a grape-gatherer to his basket.
10 ১০ তোমালোকে শুনিবৰ কাৰণে মই কাৰ আগত কম, আৰু সাক্ষ্য দিম? চোৱা, তেওঁলোকৰ কাণ অচুন্নৎ, তেওঁলোকে শুনিব নোৱাৰে; চোৱা! যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য তেওঁলোকৰ ধিক্কাৰৰ বিষয় হৈছে; তেওঁলোকে তাত একো সন্তোষ নাপায়।
To whom shall I speak, and testify, that he may hearken? behold, thine ears are uncircumcised, and they shall not be able to hear: behold, the word of the Lord is become to them a reproach, they will not at all desire it.
11 ১১ এই হেতুকে মই যিহোৱাৰ ক্ৰোধেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হৈছোঁ; মই তাক আটক কৰি ৰাখিবলৈ ক্লান্ত হৈছোঁ। আলিত শিশুসকলৰ ওপৰত, আৰু ডেকাসকলৰ সভাৰ ওপৰত তাক একেবাৰে ঢালি দিয়া। কিয়নো ভাৰ্য্যাৰে সৈতে স্বামী, সম্পূৰ্ণ আয়ুসপ্ৰাপ্ত লোকৰ সৈতে বৃদ্ধ, সকলোকে ধৰা যাব।
And I allowed my wrath to come to full, yet I kept [it] in, and did not utterly destroy them: I will pour it out on the children without, and on the assembly of young men together: for man and woman shall be taken together, the old man with him that is full of days.
12 ১২ তেওঁলোকৰ ঘৰবোৰ, পথাৰবোৰ আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মহিলাসকলক অন্যক দিয়া যাব। কাৰণ যিহোৱাই কৈছে, মই দেশনিবাসীসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে মোৰ হাত মেলিম।
And their houses shall be turned to others, [with] their fields and their wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of this land, saith the Lord.
13 ১৩ কিয়নো তেওঁলোকৰ সৰুৰ পৰা বৰলৈকে প্ৰতিজন লোভত আসক্ত, আৰু ভাববাদীৰ পৰা পুৰোহিতলৈকে প্ৰতিজনে প্ৰবঞ্চনা কাৰ্য কৰে।
For from the least of them even to the greatest they have all committed iniquity; from the priest even to the false prophet they have all wrought falsely.
14 ১৪ যেতিয়া কোনো ‘শান্তি! নাই, তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে শান্তি! বুলি কৈ মোৰ প্ৰজাসকলৰ ঘা সামান্যৰূপে সুস্থ কৰিলে।
And they healed the breach of my people [imperfectly], making light [of it], and saying, Peace, peace, and where is peace?
15 ১৫ তেওঁলোক ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্য কৰাত তেওঁলোকে লাজ পাওক ছাৰি মুখ বিবৰ্ণ কৰিবলৈ জনা নাই; সেই কাৰণে তেওঁলোকে পতিত হোৱা লোকসকলৰ মাজত পতিত হব। যিহোৱাই কৈছে, মই তেওঁলোকক দণ্ড দিয়াৰ সময়ত তেওঁলোকে উজুটি খাই পৰিব।”
They were ashamed because they failed; yet they were not ashamed as those who are [truly] ashamed, and they knew not their own disgrace: therefore shall they [utterly] fall when they do fall, and in the time of visitation shall they perish, said the Lord.
16 ১৬ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: যে, তোমালোকে চাৰিআলিৰ মূৰত থিয় হৈ চোৱা; আৰু প্ৰাচীন পথবোৰৰ বিষয়ে সোধা, ‘উত্তম পথ কোনটো? আৰু তাত চলা; তাতে তোমালোকৰ প্ৰাণত বিশ্ৰাম পাবলৈ এটি ঠাই বিচাৰি লোৱা; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, আমি তাত নচলোঁ।
Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths of the Lord; and see what is the good way, and walk in it, and ye shall find purification for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [in them].
17 ১৭ শিঙাৰ শব্দলৈ কাণ পাতিবা বুলি কৈ, মই তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত প্ৰহৰীবোৰ নিযুক্ত কৰিলোঁ; কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “আমি কাণ নাপাতিম।”
I have set watchmen over you, [saying], Hear ye the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hear [it].
Therefore have the nations heard, and they that feed their flocks.
19 ১৯ শুনা, হে পৃথিৱী! চোৱা, মই এই জাতিৰ ওপৰত অমঙ্গল ঘটাম, তেওঁলোকৰ কল্পনাবোৰৰ ফল দিম। কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে মোৰ বাক্যলৈ কাণ দিয়া নাই, আৰু মোৰ ব্যৱস্থা অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰিলে।
Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evils upon this people, [even] the fruit of their rebellions; for they have not heeded my words, and they have rejected my law.
20 ২০ চিবাৰ পৰা মোৰ ওচৰলৈ কুন্দুৰু, আৰু দূৰ দেশৰ পৰা সুগন্ধি বচ কি অভিপ্ৰায়েৰে আহিছে? তোমালোকৰ হোম-বলিবোৰ গ্ৰহণীয় নহয়, নাইবা তোমালোকৰ মঙ্গলাৰ্থক বলি মোৰ সন্তোষজনক নহয়।
Wherefore do ye bring me frankincense from Saba, and cinnamon from a land afar off? your whole-burnt-offerings are not acceptable, and your sacrifices have not been pleasant to me.
21 ২১ এই হেতুকে যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, মই এই জাতিৰ আগত উজুটি খোৱা মূঢ়া থম; তেতিয়া বাপেক আৰু পুতেকহঁতে একে সময়ত তাত উজুটি খাই পৰিব। ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়া আৰু তাৰ বন্ধু বিনষ্ট হ’ব।
Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I [will] bring weakness upon this people, and the fathers and sons shall be weak together; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
22 ২২ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, উত্তৰ দেশৰ পৰা এক জাতি আহিছে, পৃথিৱীৰ অন্তভাগৰ পৰা এক মহাজাতি উত্তেজিত হৈছে।
Thus saith the Lord, Behold, a people comes from the north, and nations shall be stirred up from the end of the earth.
23 ২৩ তেওঁলোকে ধনু আৰু বৰছা ধৰিব। তেওঁলোক নিষ্ঠুৰ আৰু দয়াহীন; তেওঁলোকৰ শব্দ সমুদ্ৰৰ গৰ্জ্জনৰ নিচিনা, আৰু তেওঁলোক ঘোঁৰাত উঠে; হে চিয়োন-জীয়াৰী, তোমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে তেওঁলোক প্ৰতিজনে যুদ্ধাৰুৰ দৰে সাজু হৈ আছে।
They shall lay hold on bow and spear; [the people] is fierce, and will have no mercy; their voice is as the roaring sea; they shall array themselves for war against thee as fire on horses and chariots, O daughter of Sion.
24 ২৪ আমি তেওঁলোকৰ যশস্যা শুনিছোঁ। আমাৰ হাত দুৰ্ব্বল হ’ল। যাতনাই, প্ৰসৱকাৰীণীৰ বেদনাৰ দৰে বেদনাই আমাক ধৰিছে।
We have heard the report of them: our hands are weakened: anguish has seized us, the pangs as of a woman in travail.
25 ২৫ পথাৰলৈ নাযাবা, আৰু ৰাজআলিত অহা-যোৱা নকৰিবা, কিয়নো শত্ৰূ তৰোৱাল, চাৰিওফালে ত্ৰাসৰ সৃষ্টি কৰি আছে।
Go not forth into the field, and walk not in the ways; for the sword of the enemy lingers round about.
26 ২৬ হে মোৰ জাতিস্বৰূপা জীয়াৰী, কঁকালত চট বান্ধা, আৰু ছাইত বাগৰা; একেটি পুত্ৰৰ মৃত্যুৰ বাবে শোক কৰাৰ দৰে শোক কৰা। আৰু অত্যন্ত বিলাপ কৰা, কিয়নো বিনষ্ট কৰোঁতাই অকস্মাতে আমাৰ ওপৰত আক্ৰমণ চলাব।
O daughter of my people, gird thyself with sackcloth: sprinkle [thyself] with ashes; make for thyself pitiable lamentation, [as] the mourning for a beloved [son]: for misery will come suddenly upon you.
27 ২৭ মোৰ প্ৰজাসকলৰ পথ পৰীক্ষা কৰি জানিবৰ বাবে, মই তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত তোমাক পৰীক্ষক কৰি দুৰ্গস্বৰূপে স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ।
I have caused thee to be tried among tried nations, and thou shalt know me when I have tried their way.
28 ২৮ তেওঁলোক সকলোৱেই অতিশয় বিদ্ৰোহী আৰু পৰচৰ্চ্চাকাৰী। তেওঁলোক পিতল আৰু লোহাস্বৰূপ; তেওঁলোক সকলো দুৰাচাৰী।
[They are] all disobedient, walking perversely: [they are] brass and iron; they are all corrupted.
29 ২৯ ভাতীয়ে বৰকৈ তাও দিছে; সীহ জুইত নষ্ট হৈছে; লোকে মিছাকৈয়ে খপি থাকিছে; কিয়নো ভাঁজস্বৰূপ দুষ্টবোৰক বাহিৰ কৰা নাযায়।
The bellows have failed from the fire, the lead has failed: the silversmith works at his trade in vain; their wickedness is not consumed.
Call ye them reprobate silver, because the Lord has rejected them.
