ՅԱՅՏՆՈՒԹԻՒՆ ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆՈՒ 13

1 Տեսայ թէ գազան մը կը բարձրանար ծովէն. ան ունէր եօթը գլուխ ու տասը եղջիւր: Անոր եղջիւրներուն վրայ տասը թագ կար, եւ անոր գլուխներուն վրայ՝ հայհոյութեան անուններ:

And (he stood *N+KO) upon the sand of the sea. And I saw out of the sea a beast rising, having horns ten and heads seven and on the horns of it ten royal crowns and upon the heads of it (names *N+KO) of blasphemy.

2 Այդ գազանը նման էր ընձառիւծի. անոր ոտքերը՝ արջի ոտքերու պէս էին, եւ անոր երախը՝ առիւծի երախի պէս: Վիշապը տուաւ անոր իր զօրութիւնը, իր գահն ու մեծ իշխանութիւն:

And the beast that I saw was like as a leopard and the feet of it like (a bear’s *N+kO) and the mouth of it like [the] mouth of a lion. And gave to it the dragon the power of him and the throne of him and authority great.

3 Անոր գլուխներէն մէկը մորթուածի պէս էր. բայց անոր մահացու վէրքը բուժուեցաւ, եւ ամբողջ երկիրը սքանչանալով գազանին հետեւեցաւ՝՝:

And (I saw *K) one of the heads of it ([was] as *NK+o) slain to death, And the wound the of death of it was healed, and (marveled *NK+o) (in *ko) all ([on] the earth *NK+o) after the beast.

4 Անոնք երկրպագեցին վիշապին՝ որ իշխանութիւն տուաւ գազանին, ու երկրպագեցին գազանին՝ ըսելով. «Ո՞վ նման է գազանին. ո՞վ կրնայ պատերազմիլ անոր հետ»:

And they worshiped (the dragon *N+kO) (that *N+k+o) (gave *NK+o) authority to the beast and they worshiped (the beast *N+kO) saying; Who [is] like as the beast (And *no) who (is able *NK+o) to make war against it?

5 Անոր տրուեցաւ բերան մը՝ մեծ բաներ եւ հայհոյութիւններ խօսող, ու իշխանութիւն տրուեցաւ անոր՝ ընելու իր կամքը քառասուներկու ամիս:

And was given to it a mouth speaking great things and (blasphemies *NK+o) and was given to it authority (war *O) to act months forty (and *no) two.

6 Հայհոյութեամբ բացաւ իր բերանը Աստուծոյ դէմ, եւ հայհոյեց անոր անունին, խորանին ու երկինքը բնակողներուն դէմ:

And it opened the mouth of it unto (blasphemies *N+kO) against God to blaspheme the name of Him and the tabernacle of Him, (and *k) those in heaven dwelling.

7 Անոր իշխանութիւն տրուեցաւ սուրբերուն հետ պատերազմելու եւ յաղթելու անոնց: Անոր իշխանութիւն տրուեցաւ բոլոր տոհմերուն (եւ ժողովուրդներուն) ու լեզուներուն եւ ազգերուն վրայ:

And there was given to it to make war with the saints and to overcome them And was given to it authority over every tribe (and people *NO) and tongue and nation.

8 Անոր պիտի երկրպագեն բոլոր անոնք որ կը բնակին երկրի վրայ եւ որոնց անունը աշխարհի հիմնադրութենէն ի վեր գրուած չէ մորթուած Գառնուկին կեանքի գիրքին մէջ՝՝:

And will worship (it *N+kO) all those dwelling on the earth, (each of whom *N+kO) not have been written (the name *N+kO) (of him *no) in (the book *N+kO) of life of the Lamb which slain from [the] founding of [the] world.

9 Ո՛վ որ ականջ ունի, թող լսէ:

If anyone has an ear, he should hear.

10 Ա՛ն որ գերեվարէ, ի՛նք գերի պիտի տարուի. ա՛ն որ սուրով սպաննէ, պէտք է որ սուրո՛վ սպաննուի: Հո՛ս է սուրբերուն համբերութիւնն ու հաւատքը:

If anyone (into *n+o) captivity (gathers *K) into captivity he goes, If anyone with [the] sword (is to be killed, *N+kO) (it is necessary for *ko) him by [the] sword [is] to be killed; Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

11 Տեսայ նաեւ ուրիշ գազան մը, որ կը բարձրանար երկրէն. ունէր երկու եղջիւր՝ գառնուկի նման, եւ կը խօսէր վիշապի պէս:

And I saw another beast rising out of the earth, and it had horns two like as a lamb and it was speaking like a dragon.

12 Կը վարէր առաջին գազանին ամբողջ իշխանութիւնը՝ անոր առջեւ, ու կը ստիպէր երկիրը եւ անոր բնակիչները՝ որ երկրպագեն առաջին գազանին, որուն մահացու վէրքը բուժուած էր:

And the authority of the first beast all it exercises on behalf of it and (makes *NK+o) the earth and those in it dwelling that (they will worship *N+kO) the beast first, of whom was healed the wound the fatal of it.

13 Մեծ նշաններ կ՚ընէր, եւ մինչեւ անգամ երկինքէն կրակ կ՚իջեցնէր երկրի վրայ՝ մարդոց առջեւ:

And it works signs great so that even fire it may cause out of heaven (to come down to *NK+o) the earth in the presence of men.

14 Կը մոլորեցնէր երկրի բնակիչները այն նշաններով՝ որ ընելու կարողութիւն տրուած էր իրեն՝ գազանին առջեւ: Կ՚ըսէր երկրի բնակիչներուն որ շինեն պատկերը այն գազանին՝ որ սուրով վիրաւորուած էր բայց ապրեցաւ:

And it deceives (those *k) (mine *O) who dwelling on the earth through the signs that were given to it to perform before the beast telling to those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast (that *N+kO) (has *NK+o) the wound (from *o) of the sword and has lived.

15 Եւ կարողութիւն տրուեցաւ իրեն՝ որ հոգի տայ գազանին պատկերին, որպէսզի գազանին պատկերը խօսի, նաեւ մեռցնել տայ բոլոր անոնք՝ որ չեն երկրպագեր գազանին պատկերին:

And there was given (to it *NK+o) to give breath to the image of the beast so that also may speak the image of the beast, and may cause that as many as (might *N+kO) not shall worship (the image *N+kO) of the beast shall be killed.

16 Կը ստիպէր բոլո՛րն ալ, պզտիկ թէ մեծ, հարուստ թէ աղքատ, ազատ թէ ստրուկ, որ դրոշմ ընդունին իրենց աջ ձեռքին վրայ կամ իրենց ճակատին վրայ,

And it causes all the small and the great and the rich and the poor and the free and the servants, that (it may give *N+k+o) to them (a mark *N+kO) on the hand of them right or on (the *N+kO) (forehead *N+KO) of them,

17 որպէսզի ո՛չ մէկը կարենայ գնել կամ ծախել, բայց միայն ա՛ն՝ որ ունի դրոշմը, կամ գազանին անունը, կամ անոր անունին թիւը:

and that no one (may be able *NK+o) to buy or to sell only except the [one] having the mark — (or *K) the name of the beast or the number of the name of it.

18 Հո՛ս է իմաստութիւնը. ո՛վ որ միտք ունի, թող հաշուէ գազանին թիւը, քանի որ մարդու մը թիւն է, եւ անոր թիւը՝ վեց հարիւր վաթսունվեց է:

Here the wisdom is. The [one] having understanding he should count the number of the beast, number for a man’s it is, and the number of it (is *o) (six hundred sixty *N+KO) (six. *N+kO)
