ՄԱՐԿՈՍ 7
1 Փարիսեցիներէն ու դպիրներէն ոմանք՝ որ եկած էին Երուսաղէմէն՝ իր քով հաւաքուեցան:
Then the Pharisees [Separated] and some of the Torah-Teachers gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem [City of peace].
2 Երբ տեսան թէ անոր աշակերտներէն ոմանք՝ պիղծ, այսինքն՝ անլուայ ձեռքերով հաց կ՚ուտեն, մեղադրեցին.
Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is unwashed, hands, they found fault.
3 որովհետեւ Փարիսեցիներն ու բոլոր Հրեաները հաց չեն ուտեր՝ մինչեւ որ լա՛ւ մը լուան իրենց ձեռքերը, քանի որ նախնիքներուն աւանդութիւնը կը պահեն:
(For the Pharisees [Separated] and all the Jews [Praisers], don’t eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders.
4 Շուկայէն եկած ատեն եթէ չլուացուին՝ չեն ուտեր: Ասոնց նման շատ բաներ կան, որոնք ընդունած են ու կը պահեն, ինչպէս՝ գաւաթներու, փարչերու, պղինձէ անօթներու եւ սեղաններու լուացումը:
They don’t eat when they come from the marketplace unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things, which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)
5 Հետեւաբար Փարիսեցիներն ու դպիրները հարցուցին անոր. «Ինչո՞ւ քու աշակերտներդ նախնիքներուն աւանդութեան համաձայն չեն շարժիր, եւ անլուայ ձեռքերով հաց կ՚ուտեն»:
The Pharisees [Separated] and the Torah-Teachers asked him, “Why don’t your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”
6 Ինք ալ պատասխանեց անոնց. «Եսայի ճի՛շդ մարգարէացաւ ձեր մասին, կեղծաւորնե՛ր, ինչպէս գրուած է. “Այս ժողովուրդը միայն շրթունքո՛վ կը պատուէ զիս, բայց իրենց սիրտը հեռու է ինձմէ.
He answered them, “Well did Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 ու պարապ տեղը կը պաշտեն զիս՝ մարդոց պատուէրները իբր վարդապետութիւն սորվեցնելով”:
But they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 Որովհետեւ Աստուծոյ պատուիրանը ձգելով՝ մարդո՛ց աւանդութիւնը կը պահէք, ինչպէս՝ փարչերու եւ գաւաթներու լուացումը, ու ասոնց նման շատ ուրիշ բաներ կ՚ընէք»:
“For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men— the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”
9 Եւ ըսաւ անոնց. «Լա՛ւ կ՚անարգէք Աստուծոյ պատուիրանը, որպէսզի ձեր աւանդութիւնը պահէք:
He said to them, “Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
10 Քանի որ Մովսէս ըսաւ. “Պատուէ՛ հայրդ ու մայրդ. եւ ո՛վ որ անիծէ իր հայրը կամ մայրը, մահո՛վ թող վախճանի”:
For Moses [Drawn out] said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
11 Բայց դուք կ՚ըսէք. “Եթէ մէկը իր հօր կամ մօր ըսէ. "Ի՛նչ օգուտ որ ինձմէ պիտի ստանաս՝ Աստուծոյ տալիք կորբան է", (որ կը նշանակէ՝ ընծայ, ) ան ազատ կ՚ըլլայ”,
But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban, that is to say, given to God”’;
12 եւ ա՛լ թոյլ չէք տար անոր՝ բա՛ն մը ընել իր հօր կամ մօր:
then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
13 Անվաւեր կը դարձնէք Աստուծոյ խօսքը՝ ձեր փոխանցած աւանդութեամբ, ու շատ ուրիշ բաներ կ՚ընէք՝ ասոր նման»:
making void ha D'var Elohim · the Word of God· by your tradition, which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”
14 Ամբողջ բազմութիւնը իրեն կանչելով՝ ըսաւ անոնց. «Բոլո՛րդ ալ մտիկ ըրէք ինծի, ու հասկցէ՛ք:
He called all the multitude to himself, and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand.
15 Ոչինչ կայ՝ որ դուրսէն մտնէ մարդուն մէջ ու կարող ըլլայ պղծել զայն. հապա ինչ որ դուրս կ՚ելլէ անկէ, անիկա՛ է որ կը պղծէ մարդը:
There is nothing from outside of the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
16 Ո՛վ որ ականջ ունի լսելու՝ թող լսէ»:
If anyone has ears to hear, let him sh'ma ·hear obey·!”
17 Երբ ինք՝ զատուելով այդ բազմութենէն՝ տուն մտաւ, իր աշակերտները հարցուցին իրեն այդ առակին մասին:
When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.
18 Ըսաւ անոնց. «Դո՞ւք ալ այդպէս անխելք էք. չէ՞ք ըմբռներ թէ ամէն ինչ՝ որ դուրսէ՛ն կը մտնէ մարդուն մէջ, չի կրնար պղծել զայն,
He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him,
19 որովհետեւ ո՛չ թէ անոր սիրտին մէջ կը մտնէ՝ հապա փորը, եւ արտաքնոցը դուրս կ՚ելլէ. ուստի բոլոր կերակուրները մաքուր են՝՝»:
because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, thus purifying all foods?”
20 Նաեւ ըսաւ. «Ինչ որ կ՚ելլէ մարդուն ներսէն, անիկա՛ կը պղծէ մարդը:
He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
21 Որովհետեւ ներսէ՛ն, մարդոց սիրտէ՛ն, կ՚ելլեն չար մտածումներ, շնութիւններ, պոռնկութիւններ, սպանութիւններ,
For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, moicheiai ·adulteries·, porhneia ·sexual immorality·, murders, thefts,
22 գողութիւններ, ագահութիւններ, չարութիւններ, նենգութիւն, ցոփութիւն, չար աչք, հայհոյութիւն, ամբարտաւանութիւն, անմտութիւն:
covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
23 Այս բոլոր չար բաները ներսէ՛ն կ՚ելլեն ու կը պղծեն մարդը»:
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
24 Կանգնելով՝ անկէ գնաց Տիւրոսի եւ Սիդոնի հողամասերը, ու տուն մը մտնելով՝ կ՚ուզէր որ ո՛չ մէկը գիտնայ. բայց չկրցաւ թաքուն մնալ:
From there he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice.
25 Որովհետեւ կին մը, որուն աղջիկը անմաքուր ոգի ունէր իր մէջ, լսեց անոր մասին, եկաւ եւ ինկաւ անոր ոտքը:
For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.
26 Այդ կինը հեթանոս էր, փիւնիկ-ասորի ցեղէն, ու կը թախանձէր անոր՝ որ հանէ դեւը իր աղջիկէն:
Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
27 Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Թո՛յլ տուր՝ որ նախ զաւակնե՛րը կշտանան, քանի որ լաւ չէ առնել զաւակներուն հացը եւ նետել շուներուն»:
But Yeshua [Salvation] said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
28 Ան ալ պատասխանեց անոր. «Այո՛, Տէ՛ր. սակայն շուներն ալ՝ սեղանին ներքեւ՝ կը կերակրուին զաւակներուն փշրանքներէն»:
But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Այդ խօսքիդ համար՝ գնա՛, դեւը դուրս ելաւ աղջիկէդ»:
He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
30 Կինը իր տունը երթալով՝ գտաւ որ դեւը ելած էր, իսկ աղջիկը՝ պառկած մահիճին վրայ:
She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
31 Դարձեալ Տիւրոսի եւ Սիդոնի հողամասերէն մեկնելով՝ գնաց Գալիլեայի ծովեզերքը, Դեկապոլիսի հողամասին մէջէն:
Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee [District, Circuit], through the middle of the region of Decapolis.
32 Մէկը բերին անոր առջեւ, խուլ ու դժուարախօս, եւ կ՚աղաչէին՝ որ ձեռք դնէ անոր վրայ:
They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.
33 Բազմութենէն մէկդի առնելով զայն՝ իր մատները մխեց անոր ականջներուն մէջ ու թքնեց, եւ դպաւ անոր լեզուին.
He took him aside from the multitude, privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue.
34 ապա երկինք նայելով՝ հառաչեց ու ըսաւ անոր. «Եփփաթա՛», (որ ըսել է՝ բացուէ՛.)
Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Hippatach! ·Be opened·!”
35 իսկոյն բացուեցան անոր ականջները եւ քակուեցաւ անոր լեզուին կապը, ու շիտակ կը խօսէր:
Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
36 Պատուիրեց անոնց՝ որ ո՛չ մէկուն ըսեն. սակայն ինք ո՛րքան կը պատուիրէր անոնց, անոնք ա՛լ աւելի կը հրապարակէին:
He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
37 Չափազանց կ՚ապշէին ու կ՚ըսէին. «Ան ամէն ինչ լաւ կ՚ընէ. խուլերուն լսել կու տայ, եւ համրերուն՝ խօսիլ»:
They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear, and the mute speak!”
