ՄԱՐԿՈՍ 5
1 Ծովուն միւս եզերքը եկան՝ Գադարացիներուն երկիրը:
And they came ouer to the other side of the sea into the countrey of the Gadarens.
2 Երբ ինք նաւէն ելաւ, իսկոյն գերեզմաններէն ելած մարդ մը հանդիպեցաւ իրեն, որ անմաքուր ոգի ունէր:
And when he was come out of the shippe, there met him incontinently out of the graues, a man which had an vncleane spirit:
3 Անոր բնակած տեղը գերեզմաններուն մէջ էր, ու շղթայո՛վ ալ ո՛չ մէկը կրնար կապել զայն.
Who had his abiding among the graues, and no man could binde him, no not with chaines:
4 որովհետեւ յաճախ ոտնակապերով եւ շղթաներով կապուեր էր, բայց շղթաները կոտրտեր ու ոտնակապերը փշրեր էր, եւ ո՛չ մէկը կրնար նուաճել զայն:
Because that when hee was often bounde with fetters and chaines, he plucked the chaines asunder, and brake the fetters in pieces, neither could any man tame him.
5 Ամէն ատեն, գիշեր ու ցերեկ, գերեզմաններուն եւ լեռներուն մէջ՝՝ կ՚աղաղակէր, ու իր մարմինը կը ճեղքռտէր քարերով:
And alwayes both night and day he cryed in the mountaines, and in the graues, and strooke himselfe with stones.
6 Երբ հեռուէն տեսաւ Յիսուսը, վազեց ու երկրպագեց անոր,
And when he saw Iesus afarre off, he ranne, and worshipped him,
7 եւ բարձրաձայն աղաղակեց. «Դուն ի՞նչ գործ ունիս ինծի հետ, Յիսո՛ւս, Ամենաբա՛րձր Աստուծոյ Որդի. Աստուծմով կ՚երդմնեցնեմ քեզ, մի՛ տանջեր զիս»:
And cryed with a loude voyce, and saide, What haue I to doe with thee, Iesus the Sonne of the most high God? I will that thou sweare to me by God, that thou torment me not.
8 (Քանի որ կ՚ըսէր անոր. «Անմաքո՛ւր ոգի, ելի՛ր այդ մարդէն»: )
(For hee saide vnto him, Come out of the man, thou vncleane spirit.)
9 Հարցուց անոր. «Ի՞նչ է անունդ»: Ան ալ պատասխանեց. «Անունս Լեգէոն է, որովհետեւ բազմաթիւ ենք»:
And he asked him, What is thy name? and hee answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
10 Շատ կ՚աղաչէին անոր՝ որ այդ երկրէն դուրս չղրկէ զիրենք:
And hee prayed him instantly, that hee would not send them away out of the countrey.
11 Հոն, լերան մօտ, խոզերու մեծ երամակ մը կար՝ որ կ՚արածէր:
Now there was there in the mountaines a great heard of swine, feeding.
12 Բոլոր դեւերը աղաչեցին անոր եւ ըսին. «Մեզ խոզերո՛ւն ղրկէ, որպէսզի անոնց մէջ մտնենք»:
And all ye deuils besought him, saying, Send vs into the swine, that we may enter into them.
13 Յիսուս իսկոյն արտօնեց անոնց: Երբ անմաքուր ոգիները դուրս ելան ու խոզերուն մէջ մտան, երամակը գահավէժ տեղէն ծովը վազեց (երկու հազարի չափ կային), եւ ծովուն մէջ խեղդուեցան:
And incontinently Iesus gaue them leaue. Then the vncleane spirites went out, and entred into the swine, and the heard ranne headlong from the high banke into the sea, (and there were about two thousand swine) and they were choked vp in the sea.
14 Խոզարածները փախան, ու պատմեցին քաղաքին եւ արտերուն մէջ, ու մարդիկ դուրս ելան՝ տեսնելու թէ ի՛նչ էր պատահածը:
And the swineheards fled, and told it in the citie, and in the countrey, and they came out to see what it was that was done.
15 Եկան Յիսուսի քով, տեսան լեգէոն ունեցող դիւահարը, որ նստած էր՝ հագուած եւ սթափած, ու վախցան:
And they came to Iesus, and sawe him that had bene possessed with the deuil, and had the legion, sit both clothed, and in his right minde: and they were afraide.
16 Անոնք որ տեսեր էին՝ պատմեցին իրենց թէ ի՛նչ պատահեցաւ դիւահարին, նաեւ խոզերուն մասին.
And they that saw it, tolde them, what was done to him that was possessed with the deuil, and concerning the swine.
17 իրենք ալ սկսան աղաչել անոր, որպէսզի իրենց հողամասէն երթայ:
Then they began to pray him, that hee would depart from their coastes.
18 Երբ ան նաւ մտաւ, դիւահարը կ՚աղաչէր անոր՝ որ ըլլայ անոր հետ:
And when he was come into the shippe, he that had bene possessed with the deuil, prayed him that he might be with him.
19 Բայց Յիսուս թոյլ չտուաւ անոր, հապա ըսաւ անոր. «Գնա՛ տունդ՝ քուկիններուդ քով, ու պատմէ՛ անոնց ամէն ինչ որ Տէրը ըրաւ քեզի, եւ ի՛նչպէս ողորմեցաւ քեզի»:
Howbeit, Iesus would not suffer him, but said vnto him, Goe thy way home to thy friendes, and shewe them what great thinges the Lord hath done vnto thee, and howe hee hath had compassion on thee.
20 Ան ալ գնաց, եւ սկսաւ Դեկապոլիսի մէջ հրապարակել ամէն ինչ որ Յիսուս ըրաւ իրեն. ու բոլորը կը զարմանային:
So he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis, what great things Iesus had done vnto him: and all men did marueile.
21 Երբ Յիսուս դարձեալ նաւով անցաւ ծովուն միւս եզերքը, մեծ բազմութիւն մը հաւաքուեցաւ անոր քով, եւ ինք ծովեզերքն էր:
And when Iesus was come ouer againe by ship vnto the other side, a great multitude gathered together to him, and he was neere vnto the sea.
22 Ժողովարանի պետերէն մէկը եկաւ, որուն անունը Յայրոս էր, ու երբ տեսաւ զայն՝ ինկաւ անոր ոտքը,
And beholde, there came one of the rulers of the Synagogue, whose name was Iairus: and when he sawe him, he fell downe at his feete,
23 շատ աղաչեց անոր եւ ըսաւ. «Աղջիկս մեռնելու մօտ է. եկո՛ւր, դի՛ր ձեռքդ անոր վրայ՝ որպէսզի բուժուի, ու պիտի ապրի»:
And besought him instantly, saying, My litle daughter lyeth at point of death: I pray thee that thou wouldest come and lay thine hands on her, that she may be healed, and liue.
24 Ան ալ գնաց անոր հետ: Մեծ բազմութիւն մը իրեն կը հետեւէր, եւ կը սեղմէր զինք:
Then hee went with him, and a great multitude folowed him, and thronged him.
25 Կին մը՝ որ արիւնահոսութիւն ունէր տասներկու տարիէ ի վեր,
(And there was a certaine woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelue yeeres,
26 շատ չարչարանք կրած էր բազմաթիւ բժիշկներէ, եւ իր ամբողջ ունեցածը ծախսած էր բայց բնա՛ւ չէր օգտուած, այլ փոխարէնը վիճակը կը վատթարանար:
And had suffred many things of many physicions, and had spent all that she had, and it auailed her nothing, but she became much worse.
27 Երբ լսեց Յիսուսի մասին, ետեւէն եկաւ՝ բազմութեան մէջ, ու դպաւ անոր հանդերձին.
When she had heard of Iesus, shee came in the preasse behinde, and touched his garment.
28 քանի որ կ՚ըսէր. «Եթէ միա՛յն անոր հանդերձներուն դպչիմ՝ պիտի բժշկուիմ»:
For she said, If I may but touch his clothes, I shalbe whole.
29 Իսկոյն իր արիւնին աղբիւրը ցամքեցաւ, եւ իր մարմինին մէջ գիտցաւ թէ տանջանքէն բժշկուեցաւ:
And straightway the course of her blood was dried vp, and she felt in her body, that she was healed of that plague.
30 Յիսուս իսկոյն գիտցաւ ինքնիր մէջ թէ զօրութիւն մը ելաւ իրմէ դուրս, դարձաւ բազմութեան ու ըսաւ. «Ո՞վ դպաւ իմ հանդերձներուս»:
And immediatly when Iesus did knowe in himselfe the vertue that went out of him, he turned him round about in the preasse, and said, Who hath touched my clothes?
31 Իր աշակերտները ըսին իրեն. «Կը տեսնե՛ս թէ բազմութիւնը կը սեղմէ քեզ, եւ կ՚ըսես. “Ո՞վ դպաւ ինծի”»:
And his disciples said vnto him, Thou seest the multitude throng thee, and sayest thou, Who did touche me?
32 Իր շուրջը կը նայէր՝ որպէսզի տեսնէ այս բանը ընողը:
And he looked round about, to see her that had done that.
33 Կինը վախցաւ ու դողաց, որովհետեւ գիտէր թէ ի՛նչ պատահեցաւ իրեն. եկաւ, ինկաւ անոր առջեւ, եւ պատմեց անոր ամբողջ ճշմարտութիւնը:
And the woman feared and trembled: for she knewe what was done in her, and shee came and fell downe before him, and tolde him the whole trueth.
34 Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Աղջի՛կ, հաւատքդ բժշկեց քեզ. գնա՛ խաղաղութեամբ, ու բժշկուա՛ծ եղիր քու տանջանքէդ»:
And hee saide to her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.)
35 Երբ ինք դեռ կը խօսէր, ժողովարանի պետին տունէն ոմանք եկան եւ ըսին. «Աղջիկդ մեռաւ, ա՛լ ինչո՞ւ կ՚անհանգստացնես վարդապետը»:
While hee yet spake, there came from the same ruler of the Synagogues house certaine which said, Thy daughter is dead: why diseasest thou the Master any further?
36 Իսկ Յիսուս, երբ լսեց ըսուած խօսքը, իսկոյն ըսաւ ժողովարանի պետին. «Մի՛ վախնար, միա՛յն հաւատա»:
Assoone as Iesus heard that word spoken, he said vnto the ruler of the Synagogue, Be not afraide: onely beleeue.
37 Ու ո՛չ մէկուն թոյլ տուաւ որ իրեն ուղեկցի, բայց միայն Պետրոսի, Յակոբոսի եւ Յակոբոսի եղբօր՝ Յովհաննէսի:
And he suffered no man to follow him saue Peter and Iames, and Iohn the brother of Iames.
38 Ժողովարանի պետին տունը հասնելով՝ նշմարեց աղմուկը, նաեւ անոնք՝ որ շատ կու լային ու կը հեծեծէին:
So hee came vnto the house of the ruler of the Synagogue, and sawe the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 Ներս մտնելով՝ ըսաւ անոնց. «Ինչո՞ւ իրար անցած էք եւ կու լաք. մանուկը մեռած չէ, հապա կը քնանայ»:
And he went in, and said vnto them, Why make ye this trouble, and weepe? the childe is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 Անոնք ալ զինք ծաղրեցին. բայց ինք բոլորը դուրս հանելով՝ իրեն հետ առաւ մանուկին հայրն ու մայրը, եւ իրեն հետ եղողները, ու մտաւ հոն՝ ուր մանուկը պառկած էր:
And they laught him to scorne: but hee put them all out, and tooke the father, and the mother of the childe, and them that were with him, and entred in where the childe lay,
41 Մանուկին ձեռքէն բռնելով՝ ըսաւ անոր. «Տալիթա՛, կումի՛», որ կը թարգմանուի. «Աղջի՛կ, (քեզի՛ կ՚ըսեմ, ) ոտքի՛ ելիր»:
And tooke the childe by the hand, and saide vnto her, Talitha cumi, which is by interpretation, Mayden, I say vnto thee, arise.
42 Իսկոյն աղջիկը կանգնեցաւ եւ քալեց, որովհետեւ տասներկու տարեկան էր. ու տեսնողները հիացումէն զմայլեցան:
And straightway the mayden arose, and walked: for shee was of the age of twelue yeeres, and they were astonied out of measure.
43 Յիսուս սաստիկ պատուիրեց անոնց՝ որ ո՛չ մէկը գիտնայ այս բանը, եւ ըսաւ՝ որ ուտելիք տան անոր:
And he charged them straitly that no man should knowe of it, and commanded to giue her meate.
