ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆՈԻ 7
1 Ասկէ ետք Յիսուս կը շրջէր Գալիլեայի մէջ, քանի որ չէր ուզեր շրջիլ Հրէաստանի մէջ, որովհետեւ Հրեաները կը ջանային սպաննել զինք:
After these things, Yeshua was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn’t walk in Judea, because the Judeans sought to kill him.
2 Հրեաներուն Տաղաւարներու տօնը մօտ էր.
Now the Jewish festival, the Feast of Sukkot, was at hand.
3 ուստի իր եղբայրները ըսին իրեն. «Մեկնէ՛ ասկէ ու գնա՛ Հրէաստան, որպէսզի աշակերտնե՛րդ ալ տեսնեն քու գործերդ՝ որ կ՚ընես:
His brothers therefore said to him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do.
4 Որովհետեւ ո՛չ մէկը գաղտնի կ՚ընէ որեւէ բան, երբ կը ջանայ բացորոշապէս ճանչցնել ինքզինք. եթէ կ՚ընես այդ բաները, դուն քեզ բացայայտէ՛ աշխարհի»:
For no one does anything in secret while he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world.”
5 Քանի որ իր եղբայրներն ալ չէին հաւատար իրեն:
For even his brothers didn’t believe in him.
6 Յիսուս ըսաւ անոնց. «Իմ ժամանակս դեռ հասած չէ, բայց ձեր ժամանակը պատրաստ է ամէն ատեն:
Yeshua therefore said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.
7 Աշխարհը չի կրնար ատել ձեզ, բայց կ՚ատէ զիս, որովհետեւ ես կը վկայեմ անոր մասին թէ իր գործերը չար են:
The world can’t hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.
8 Դո՛ւք բարձրացէք այս տօնին. ես (դեռ) չեմ բարձրանար այս տօնին, որովհետեւ ժամանակս դեռ լրացած չէ»:
You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled.”
9 Ասիկա ըսելով անոնց՝ ինք մնաց Գալիլեա:
Having said these things to them, he stayed in Galilee.
10 Բայց երբ իր եղբայրները բարձրացան, ի՛նքն ալ բարձրացաւ տօնին. ո՛չ թէ բացայայտօրէն, հապա՝ գաղտնի:
But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.
11 Իսկ Հրեաները կը փնտռէին զինք տօնին ատենը, ու կ՚ըսէին. «Ո՞ւր է ան»:
The Judeans therefore sought him at the feast, and said, “Where is he?”
12 Բազմութեան մէջ շատ տրտունջ կար անոր մասին: Ոմանք կ՚ըսէին. «Բարի մարդ է»: Ուրիշներ կ՚ըսէին. «Ո՛չ, այլ ընդհակառակը՝ բազմութի՛ւնը կը մոլորեցնէ»:
There was much murmuring amongst the multitudes concerning him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others said, “Not so, but he leads the multitude astray.”
13 Սակայն ո՛չ մէկը բացորոշապէս կը խօսէր անոր մասին՝ Հրեաներու վախէն:
Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Judeans.
14 Իսկ երբ տօնը կէս եղաւ՝ Յիսուս բարձրացաւ տաճարը, եւ կը սորվեցնէր:
But when it was now the middle of the feast, Yeshua went up into the temple and taught.
15 Հրեաները կը զարմանային ու կ՚ըսէին. «Ի՞նչպէս ասիկա գիտէ Գիրքերը, քանի բնա՛ւ սորված չէ զանոնք»:
The Judeans therefore marvelled, saying, “How does this man know letters, having never been educated?”
16 Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոնց. «Իմ ուսուցումս՝ ի՛մս չէ, հապա զիս ղրկողի՛նն է:
Yeshua therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.
17 Եթէ մէկը ուզէ գործադրել անոր կամքը, պիտի գիտնայ թէ այս ուսուցումը Աստուծմէ՛ է, թէ ես ինձմէ կը խօսիմ:
If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God or if I am speaking from myself.
18 Ա՛ն որ կը խօսի ինքնիրմէ՝ կը փնտռէ ի՛ր իսկ փառքը, բայց ա՛ն որ կը փնտռէ զինք ղրկողին փառքը՝ անիկա՛ ճշմարտախօս է, եւ անոր քով անիրաւութիւն չկայ:
He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
19 Մովսէս չտուա՞ւ ձեզի Օրէնքը. բայց ձեզմէ ո՛չ մէկը կը գործադրէ Օրէնքը:
Didn’t Moses give you the Torah, and yet none of you keeps the Torah? Why do you seek to kill me?”
20 Ինչո՞ւ կը ջանաք սպաննել զիս»: Բազմութիւնը պատասխանեց. «Դե՛ւ կայ քու ներսդ. ո՞վ կը ջանայ սպաննել քեզ»:
The multitude answered, “You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?”
21 Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոնց. «Գործ մը ըրի, եւ բոլորդ ալ կը զարմանաք:
Yeshua answered them, “I did one work and you all marvel because of it.
22 Մովսէս տուաւ ձեզի թլփատութիւնը, (որ ո՛չ թէ Մովսէսէ էր՝ հապա նախնիքներէն, ) ու մարդ կը թլփատէք Շաբաթ օրը:
Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a boy.
23 Եթէ մարդ կը թլփատուի Շաբաթ օրը՝ որպէսզի Մովսէսի Օրէնքը չլուծուի, կը դառնանա՞ք ինծի դէմ՝ որ ամբողջ մարդ մը բժշկեցի Շաբաթ օրը:
If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath, that the Torah of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me because I made a man completely healthy on the Sabbath?
24 Մի՛ դատէք երեւոյթին համեմատ, հապա դատեցէք արդարութեա՛մբ»:
Don’t judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgement.”
25 Ուստի Երուսաղեմացիներէն ոմանք կ՚ըսէին. «Ասիկա չէ՞ ան՝ որ կը ջանան սպաննել:
Therefore some of them of Jerusalem said, “Isn’t this he whom they seek to kill?
26 Ահա՛ համարձակօրէն կը խօսի, ու ոչինչ կ՚ըսեն անոր. միթէ պետերը գիտցա՞ն թէ ճշմա՛րտապէս ա՛յս է Քրիստոսը:
Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Messiah?
27 Սակայն մենք գիտե՛նք թէ ասիկա ուրկէ՛ է. բայց երբ Քրիստոս գայ, ո՛չ մէկը պիտի գիտնայ անոր ուրկէ՛ ըլլալը»:
However, we know where this man comes from, but when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he comes from.”
28 Իսկ Յիսուս՝ սորվեցնելու ատեն՝ տաճարին մէջ աղաղակեց. «Զի՛ս ալ կը ճանչնաք, եւ ուրկէ՛ ըլլալս ալ գիտէք: Ես ինձմէ եկած չեմ, հապա ա՛ն որ ղրկեց զիս՝ ճշմարիտ է: Դուք չէք ճանչնար զայն.
Yeshua therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, “You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don’t know.
29 բայց ես կը ճանչնամ զայն, որովհետեւ ես անկէ եմ, եւ ա՛ն ղրկեց զիս»:
I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.”
30 Ուստի կը ջանային ձերբակալել զինք. բայց ո՛չ մէկը ձեռք բարձրացուց իր վրայ, որովհետեւ իր ժամը դեռ հասած չէր:
They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.
31 Բազմութենէն շատեր հաւատացին իրեն, ու կ՚ըսէին. «Երբ Քրիստոս գայ, միթէ աւելի՞ նշաններ պիտի ընէ՝ քան անոնք որ ասիկա ըրաւ»:
But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said, “When the Messiah comes, he won’t do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?”
32 Փարիսեցիները լսեցին բազմութեան այս տրտունջը անոր մասին. եւ Փարիսեցիներն ու քահանայապետները սպասաւորներ ղրկեցին՝ որպէսզի ձերբակալեն զայն:
The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him.
33 Իսկ Յիսուս ըսաւ. «Քիչ մը ժամանակ ալ ձեզի հետ եմ, ապա կ՚երթամ անոր՝ որ ղրկեց զիս:
Then Yeshua said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.
34 Դուք պիտի փնտռէք զիս՝ բայց պիտի չգտնէք, եւ չէք կրնար գալ իմ եղած տեղս»:
You will seek me and won’t find me. You can’t come where I am.”
35 Ուրեմն Հրեաները ըսին իրարու. «Ո՞ւր պիտի երթայ, որ մենք պիտի չգտնենք զինք. միթէ հեթանոսներուն մէջ ցրուածներո՞ւն պիտի երթայ, եւ հեթանոսներո՞ւն պիտի սորվեցնէ:
The Judeans therefore said amongst themselves, “Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Diaspora amongst the Greeks and teach the Greeks?
36 Ի՞նչ է այն խօսքը՝ որ ըսաւ. “Դուք պիտի փնտռէք զիս բայց պիտի չգտնէք, եւ չէք կրնար գալ իմ եղած տեղս”»:
What is this word that he said, ‘You will seek me, and won’t find me;’ and ‘Where I am, you can’t come’?”
37 Տօնին վերջին մեծ օրը՝ Յիսուս կայնած էր ու կ՚աղաղակէր. «Եթէ մէկը ծարաւ է, թող գայ ինծի եւ խմէ:
Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!
38 Ա՛ն որ հաւատայ ինծի, կենարար ջուրի գետեր պիտի բխին անոր փորէն, ինչպէս Գիրքը կ՚ըսէ»:
He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”
39 Ասիկա ըսաւ Հոգիին մասին՝ որ իրեն հաւատացողները պիտի ընդունէին. որովհետեւ Սուրբ Հոգին տրուած չէր տակաւին, քանի որ Յիսուս փառաւորուած չէր տակաւին:
But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Yeshua wasn’t yet glorified.
40 Բազմութենէն շատեր՝ երբ լսեցին այս խօսքը՝ կ՚ըսէին. «Ճշմա՛րտապէս ա՛յս է մարգարէն»:
Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, “This is truly the Prophet.”
41 Ուրիշներ կ՚ըսէին. «Ա՛յս է Քրիստոսը»: Ուրիշներ ալ կ՚ըսէին. «Միթէ Քրիստոս Գալիլեայէ՞ն պիտի գայ:
Others said, “This is the Messiah.” But some said, “What, does the Messiah come out of Galilee?
42 Միթէ Գիրքը չ՚ը՞սեր թէ Քրիստոս պիտի գայ Դաւիթի զարմէն ու Դաւիթի եղած գիւղէն՝ Բեթլեհէմէն»:
Hasn’t the Scripture said that the Messiah comes of the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”
43 Ուստի պառակտում եղաւ բազմութեան մէջ՝ անոր պատճառով:
So a division arose in the multitude because of him.
44 Անոնցմէ ոմանք ուզեցին ձերբակալել զայն, բայց ո՛չ մէկը ձեռք բարձրացուց անոր վրայ:
Some of them would have arrested him, but no one laid hands on him.
45 Ուստի սպասաւորները եկան քահանայապետներուն եւ Փարիսեցիներուն քով, որոնք ըսին անոնց. «Ինչո՞ւ հոս չբերիք զայն»:
The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said to them, “Why didn’t you bring him?”
46 Սպասաւորները պատասխանեցին. «Ո՛չ մէկը երբե՛ք խօսած է այս մարդուն պէս»:
The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this man!”
47 Ուստի Փարիսեցիները պատասխանեցին անոնց. «Միթէ դո՞ւք ալ մոլորեցաք:
The Pharisees therefore answered them, “You aren’t also led astray, are you?
48 Պետերէն կամ Փարիսեցիներէն մէ՛կը հաւատա՞ց անոր.
Have any of the rulers or any of the Pharisees believed in him?
49 բայց այս բազմութիւնը՝ որ չի գիտեր Օրէնքը՝ անիծեալ է»:
But this multitude that doesn’t know the Torah is cursed.”
50 Նիկոդեմոս ըսաւ անոնց, (որ նախապէս՝ գիշերուան մէջ գացեր էր իրեն, եւ անոնցմէ մէկն էր.)
Nicodemus (he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them,
51 «Միթէ մեր Օրէնքը կը դատէ՞ մարդ մը, եթէ նախապէս չլսէ զայն, եւ չգիտնայ թէ ի՛նչ կ՚ընէ»:
“Does our Torah judge a man unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?”
52 Պատասխանեցին անոր. «Միթէ դո՞ւն ալ Գալիլեայէն ես. զննէ՛ ու նայէ՛, որ Գալիլեայէն մարգարէ չ՚ելլեր»:
They answered him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.”
53 Ապա իւրաքանչիւրը գնաց իր տունը:
Everyone went to his own house,
