ԵՐԿՐՈՐԴ ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆՈՒ 1
1 Երէցը՝ ընտրեալ տիկնոջ եւ անոր զաւակներուն, որ կը սիրեմ ճշմարտութեամբ, (ո՛չ միայն ես, այլ նաեւ բոլոր անոնք՝ որ գիտցած են ճշմարտութիւնը, )
The eldere man, to the chosun ladi, and to her children, whiche Y loue in treuthe; and not Y aloone, but also alle men that knowen treuthe;
for the treuthe that dwellith in you, and with you schal be with outen ende. (aiōn g165)
3 ձեզի հետ թող ըլլան շնորհք, ողորմութիւն եւ խաղաղութիւն՝ Հայր Աստուծմէ ու Տէր Յիսուս Քրիստոսէ, Հօրը Որդիէն, ճշմարտութեամբ եւ սիրով:
Grace be with you, merci, and pees of God the fadir, and of Jhesu Crist, the sone of the fadir, in treuthe and charite.
4 Մեծապէս ուրախացայ, գտնելով թէ զաւակներէդ ոմանք կ՚ընթանան ճշմարտութեամբ, այն պատուիրանին համաձայն՝ որ ստացանք Հօրմէն:
I ioiede ful myche, for Y foond of thi sones goynge in treuthe, as we resseyueden maundement of the fadir.
5 Հիմա կը թախանձեմ քեզի, տիկի՛ն, որ սիրենք զիրար. կը գրեմ քեզի ո՛չ թէ նոր պատուիրան մը, հապա ա՛ն՝ որ ունէինք սկիզբէն:
And now Y preye thee, ladi, not as writinge a newe maundement to thee, but that that we hadden fro the bigynnyng, that we loue ech other.
6 Սէրը սա՛ է.- ընթանալ անոր պատուիրաններուն համաձայն: Եւ պատուիրանը սա՛ է.- ընթանալ սկիզբէն ի վեր ձեր լսածին համաձայն:
And this is charite, that we walke after his maundementis. For this is the comaundement, that as ye herden at the bigynnyng, walke ye in hym.
7 Արդարեւ աշխարհ մտած են շատ մոլորեցուցիչներ, որոնք չեն դաւանիր թէ Յիսուս Քրիստոս մարմինով եկաւ: Այսպիսին մոլորեցուցիչ ու նեռ է:
For many disseyueris wenten out in to the world, which knoulechen not that Jhesu Crist hath come in fleisch; this is a disseyuere and antecrist.
8 Զգուշացէ՛ք դուք ձեզի համար, որ չկորսնցնենք մեր աշխատանքը, հապա ստանանք լման վարձատրութիւն:
Se ye you silf, lest ye lesen the thingis that ye han wrouyt, that ye resseyue ful mede;
9 Ո՛վ որ զանցառու կ՚ըլլայ եւ չի մնար Քրիստոսի ուսուցումին մէջ, չունի Աստուած: Իսկ ա՛ն որ կը կենայ Քրիստոսի ուսուցումին մէջ, ունի թէ՛ Հայրը, թէ՛ ալ Որդին:
witynge that ech man that goith bifore, and dwellith not in the teching of Crist, hath not God. He that dwellith in the teching, hath bothe the sone and the fadir.
10 Եթէ մէկը գայ ձեզի ու չբերէ այս ուսուցումը, մի՛ ընդունիք զայն ձեր տունը, եւ մի՛ բարեւէք.
If ony man cometh to you, and bryngith not this teching, nyle ye resseyue hym in to hous, nether seie ye to hym, Heil.
11 որովհետեւ ո՛վ որ բարեւէ զայն՝ կը հաղորդակցի անոր չար գործերուն:
For he that seith to hym, Heil, comyneth with hise yuel werkis. Lo! Y biforseide to you, that ye be not confoundid in the dai of oure Lord Jhesu Crist.
12 Ձեզի գրելիք շատ բան ունէի, բայց չուզեցի գրել թուղթով ու մելանով. քանի որ կը յուսամ գալ ձեզի եւ խօսիլ դէմ առ դէմ, որպէսզի մեր ուրախութիւնը լման ըլլայ:
Y haue mo thingis to write to you, and Y wolde not bi parchemyn and enke; for Y hope that Y schal come to you, and speke mouth to mouth, that your ioye be ful.
13 Ընտրեալ քրոջդ զաւակները կը բարեւեն քեզ:
The sones of thi chosun sistir greten thee wel. The grace of God be with thee. Amen.
