ԱՌԱՋԻՆ ՊԵՏՐՈՍԻ 4

1 Ուրեմն, քանի որ Քրիստոս չարչարուեցաւ մեզի համար՝ մարմինով, դո՛ւք ալ զինուեցէք նոյն մտադրութեամբ: Որովհետեւ ա՛ն որ չարչարուած է մարմինով՝ դադրած է մեղանչելէ,

Christ therefore having suffered (for of us *K) in [the] flesh also you yourselves the same mind do arm yourselves with, because the [one] having suffered (in *k) [the] flesh has himself done (with sin; *NK+o)

2 որպէսզի՝ իր մարմինին մէջ մնացած ժամանակը՝ այլեւս ապրի ո՛չ թէ մարդոց ցանկութիւններուն համաձայն, հապա՝ Աստուծոյ կամքին համաձայն:

so as no longer to men’s desires but to [the] will of God the remaining in [the] flesh to live time.

3 Որովհետեւ կը բաւէ մեզի գործադրած ըլլալ հեթանոսներուն կամքը՝ մեր կեանքին անցած ժամանակը, երբ կ՚ընթանայինք ցոփութիւններու, ցանկութիւններու, գինեմոլութիւններու, զեխութիւններու, արբեցութիւններու եւ անօրէն կռապաշտութիւններու մէջ:

[Is] sufficient for (to us *K) the having past time (of life *K) the (desire *N+kO) of the Gentiles (to have carried out *N+kO) having walked in sensuality, in lusts, in drunkenness, in orgies, in carousing, and in abominable idolatries;

4 Անոնք տարօրինակ կը սեպեն, որ դուք չէք սուրար իրենց հետ դէպի նոյն անառակութեան ծայրայեղութիւնը, ու կը հայհոյեն ձեզի:

With respect to this they think it strange not running with [them] of you into the same of debauchery overflow denigrating [you],

5 Անոնք հաշիւ պիտի տան անո՛ր՝ որ պատրաստ է դատել ողջերն ու մեռելները.

who will give account to Him who ready is (to judge *NK+o) [the] living and [the] dead.

6 քանի որ սա՛ նպատակով մեռելներո՛ւն ալ աւետարանուեցաւ, որպէսզի դատուին մարմինով՝ մարդոց համեմատ, իսկ ապրին հոգիով՝ Աստուծոյ համաձայն:

To this [end] indeed even to [the] dead it was evangelised, so that they may be judged indeed according to men in [the] flesh, they may live however according to God in [the] spirit.

7 Սակայն ամէն բանի վախճանը մօտեցած է. ուրեմն խոհե՛մ եղէք, եւ արթո՛ւն կեցէք՝ աղօթելու համար:

Of all now the end has drawn near; do be clear-minded therefore and do sober for the purpose of prayers

8 Ամէն բանէ առաջ՝ ջերմեռա՛նդ սէր ունեցէք իրարու հանդէպ. որովհետեւ սէրը կը ծածկէ մեղքերու բազմութիւնը:

above all things (now *k) among yourselves love fervent having, because love (covers over *N+kO) a multitude of sins.

9 Հիւրասէ՛ր եղէք իրարու հանդէպ՝ առանց տրտնջելու:

hospitable to one another without (complaint; *N+kO)

10 Քանի ձեզմէ իւրաքանչիւրը ստացած է շնորհ մը, սպասարկեցէ՛ք զայն իրարու՝ Աստուծոյ բազմազան շնորհքին բարի տնտեսներուն պէս:

each even as has received a gift to each other them serving as good stewards of [the] manifold grace of God:

11 Եթէ մէկը խօսի, թող խօսի Աստուծոյ պատգամներուն պէս. եթէ մէկը սպասարկէ, թող սպասարկէ Աստուծոյ հայթայթած ոյժին համեմատ. որպէսզի ամէն բանի մէջ Աստուած փառաւորուի Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով, որուն կը պատկանին փառքն ու զօրութիւնը դարէ դար՝՝: Ամէն: (aiōn g165)

if anyone speaks as oracles of God; if anyone serves as of strength (which *NK+o) supplies God; so that in all things may be glorified God through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory and the power to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)

12 Սիրելինե՛ր, տարօրինակ մի՛ սեպէք այն փորձութեան հրդեհը, որ կ՚ըլլայ ձեզ փորձելու համար, որպէս թէ օտար բան մը կը պատահի ձեզի:

Beloved, not do be surprised at the among you fire for a trial to you taking place as if a strange thing to you were happening;

13 Հապա ուրախացէ՛ք՝ քանի որ կը հաղորդակցիք Քրիստոսի չարչարանքներուն, որպէսզի անոր փառքի յայտնութեան ատենն ալ ուրախանաք ցնծութեամբ:

But as you have shared in the of Christ sufferings do rejoice, so that also in the revelation of the glory of Him you may rejoice exulting.

14 Եթէ նախատուիք Քրիստոսի անունին համար՝ երանելի՜ էք, որովհետեւ փառքի (ու զօրութեան) եւ Աստուծոյ Հոգին հանգչած է ձեր վրայ. արդարեւ ան կը հայհոյուի անոնցմէ, բայց կը փառաւորուի ձեզմէ՝՝:

If you are insulted in [the] name of Christ, [you are] blessed; because of glory and of God [the] Spirit upon you rests (according to indeed them he is blasphemed according to however you he is honored. *K)

15 Ձեզմէ ո՛չ մէկը թող չարչարուի իբր մարդասպան, կամ գող, կամ չարագործ, կամ իբր ուրիշին միջամուխ:

Not for any of you should suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a troublesome meddler;

16 Սակայն եթէ չարչարուի իբր քրիստոնեայ՝ թող չամչնայ, հապա թող փառաւորէ Աստուած այս մասին:

if however as a Christian, not he should be ashamed, he should glorify however God in (name *N+KO) this.

17 Որովհետեւ ատենը եկած է՝ որ դատաստանը սկսի Աստուծոյ տունէն: Ու եթէ նախ սկսի մեզմէ, հապա ի՞նչ պիտի ըլլայ վախճանը անոնց՝ որ չեն անսար Աստուծոյ աւետարանին:

For [it is] the time [for] to have begun the judgment from the house of God; if now first from us, what [will be] the outcome of those disobeying the of God gospel?

18 Եթէ արդարը հազիւ կը փրկուի, ի՞նչ պիտի ըլլան՝՝ ամբարիշտն ու մեղաւորը:

And If the righteous [one] with difficulty is saved, the (now *o) ungodly and sinner where will appear?

19 Հետեւաբար, անոնք որ կը չարչարուին Աստուծոյ կամքին համաձայն, բարիք գործելով թող աւանդեն իրենց անձերը անոր՝ իբր հաւատարիմ Արարիչին:

Therefore also those suffering according to the will of God (as *K) to [the] faithful Creator they should commit the souls (of them *N+kO) in well doing.
