ԱՌԱՋԻՆ ՊԵՏՐՈՍԻ 3
1 Նմանապէս դո՛ւք, կինե՛ր, հպատակեցէ՛ք ձեր ամուսիններուն, որպէսզի եթէ նոյնիսկ ոմանք չանսան խօսքին, շահուին առանց խօսքի՝ կիներուն վարքով,
Likewise You wives be subject to [their] own husbands, so that even if any are disobedient to the word, through the of the wives conduct without word (they will be gained, *N+kO)
2 մինչ կը տեսնեն ձեր մաքրակենցաղ ու երկիւղած վարքը:
having witnessed the in respect pure conduct of you;
3 Ձեր զարդարանքը թող չըլլայ դուրսէն՝ մազերու հիւսքերով, ոսկիներու շարքերով կամ շքեղ հանդերձներ հագնելով,
whose should be not outward of braiding of hair and putting around of gold or putting on of garments adorning,
4 հապա ձեր զարդը թող ըլլայ սիրտին ծածուկ մարդը, հեզ եւ հանդարտ հոգիի մը անապականութեամբ, ինչ որ թանկագին է Աստուծոյ առջեւ:
but the hidden of the heart man in the imperishable of the gentle and quiet spirit, which is before the God of great worth.
5 Որովհետեւ ժամանակին սուրբ կիներն ալ, որոնք կը յուսային Աստուծոյ, ա՛յսպէս կը զարդարէին իրենք զիրենք՝ հպատակելով իրենց ամուսիններուն,
In this way for formerly also the holy women those hoping (in *N+kO) God were adorning themselves being subject to [their] own husbands;
6 ինչպէս Սառա կը հնազանդէր Աբրահամի՝ տէր կոչելով զայն: Դուք անոր զաւակներն էք, քանի բարիք կը գործէք ու չէք վախնար որեւէ սարսափէ:
as Sarah (obeyed *NK+o) Abraham lord him calling, of whom you have become children doing good and not fearing not one consternation.
7 Նմանապէս դո՛ւք, ամուսիննե՛ր, գիտակցելո՛վ բնակեցէք անոնց հետ, պատուելով կիները իբր աւելի տկար անօթներ եւ կեանքի շնորհքին ժառանգակիցներ, որպէսզի ձեր աղօթքները չընդհատուին:
you who [are] Husbands likewise, dwelling with [them] according to knowledge as with a weaker vessel with the female rendering honor since [they are] also (joint-heirs *N+kO) of [the] grace of life so as this not ([cause to] be impeded *N+kO) the prayers of you.
8 Վերջապէս, բոլո՛րդ եղէք համախոհ, կարեկից, եղբայրասէր, գթած ու բարեսիրտ:
Now the end All [be] single-minded, sympathetic, loving as brothers, tender-hearted, (humble, *N+KO)
9 Չարիքի փոխարէն չարիք մի՛ հատուցանէք, կամ հեգնանքի փոխարէն՝ հեգնանք. այլ ընդհակառակը՝ օրհնեցէ՛ք, գիտնալով թէ ատոր համար կանչուեցաք, որպէսզի օրհնութիւն ժառանգէք:
not repaying evil for evil or insult for insult, on the contrary however blessing (knowing *K) because to this you were called so that blessing you may inherit.
10 Որովհետեւ «ա՛ն որ կ՚ուզէ կեանքը սիրել ու բարի օրեր տեսնել, թող դադրեցնէ իր լեզուին չարախօսութիւնը, եւ իր շրթունքը խաբէութիւն թող չխօսի:
The [one] for desiring life to love and to see days good he should keep the tongue (of him *k) from evil and lips (of him *k) not to speak deceit.
11 Չարութենէ թող հեռանայ ու բարիք գործէ. խաղաղութիւն թող փնտռէ եւ անոր հետամուտ ըլլայ:
he should turn away (also *no) from evil and he should do good, he should seek peace and he should pursue it.
12 Որովհետեւ Տէրոջ աչքերը արդարներուն վրայ են, ու իր ականջները բաց են անոնց աղերսանքին. բայց Տէրոջ երեսը չարագործներուն դէմ է»:
Because (the *k) eyes of [the] Lord [are] on [the] righteous, and [the] ears of Him toward prayer of them, [The] face however of [the] Lord [is] against those doing evil.
13 Եւ ո՞վ պիտի չարչարէ ձեզ՝ եթէ դուք նմանիք բարիին:
And who [is] he who will harm you, if for that which [is] good (zealous *N+KO) you shall be?
14 Բայց նոյնիսկ եթէ չարչարուիք արդարութեան համար՝ երանելի՛ էք, եւ մի՛ վախնաք անոնց ահէն, ու մի՛ վրդովիք:
But if even you would suffer because of righteousness, [you are] blessed. And the threats of them not shall you be afraid of neither shall you be troubled;
15 Հապա սրբացուցէ՛ք Տէր Աստուածը ձեր սիրտերուն մէջ, եւ միշտ պատրա՛ստ եղէք հեզութեամբ ու երկիւղածութեամբ ջատագովական ներկայացնելու ամէն մէկուն՝ որ կը խնդրէ ձեզմէ ձեր մէջ եղած յոյսին պատճառը.
[As] Lord however (Christ *N+KO) do sanctify in the hearts of you. ready (now *k) always for a defense to everyone who is asking you an account concerning the in you hope, (yet *NO) with gentleness and fear,
16 բարի՛ խղճմտանք ունեցէք, որպէսզի՝ այն բանին համար որ կը բամբասեն ձեզ իբր չարագործներ, ամօթահար ըլլան անո՛նք՝ որ կը պախարակեն Քրիստոսով եղած ձեր բարի վարքը:
a conscience having good, so that in this (you are spoken against *N+k+o) (you as to evildoers *KO) they may be ashamed those reviling your good in Christ manner of life.
17 Որովհետեւ աւելի լաւ է չարչարուիլ - եթէ ա՛յդ է Աստուծոյ կամքը - բարի՛ք ընելով, քան թէ չարիք ընելով:
[It is] better for doing good if (one would desire *N+kO) the will of God, to suffer than doing evil;
18 Արդարեւ Քրիստո՛ս ալ մէ՛կ անգամ չարչարուեցաւ՝ մեղքերու համար, Արդարը՝ անարդարներուն համար, որպէսզի մօտեցնէ մեզ Աստուծոյ: Ան մարմինով մեռցուեցաւ, բայց Հոգիով կեանք ստացաւ,
because also Christ once for sins (suffered, *NK+O) [the] righteous for [the] unrighteous, so that (you *N+KO) He may bring to God, having been put to death indeed in [the] flesh, having been made alive however (in the *k) spirit,
19 եւ անով ալ գնաց ու քարոզեց բանտի մէջ եղած հոգիներուն:
in which also to the in prison spirits having gone He preached
20 Անոնք ժամանակին անհնազանդ եղան, երբ Աստուծոյ համբերատարութիւնը կը սպասէր անոնց՝ Նոյի օրերը, մինչ տապանը կը կերտուէր: Անոր մէջ քիչեր, այսինքն ութ անձ, փրկուեցան ջուրէն:
having disobeyed at one time, when (he was expecting *N+kO) the of God longsuffering in [the] days of Noah when is being prepared [the] ark, in which (few *N+kO) That is eight souls — were saved through water;
21 Անոր կրկնատիպը եղող մկրտութիւնն ալ հիմա կը փրկէ մեզ, (ո՛չ թէ մարմինին աղտը լքելը, հապա Աստուծոյ հանդէպ բարի խղճմտանքի մը յանձնառութիւնը, ) Յիսուս Քրիստոսի յարութեամբ:
which also (you *N+KO) prefigures now saving baptism, not of flesh a putting away of [the] filth, but of a conscience good [the] demand toward God, through [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22 Ան երկինք գացած՝ Աստուծոյ աջ կողմն է, եւ հրեշտակները, իշխանութիւններն ու զօրութիւնները հպատակած են իրեն:
who is at [the] right hand of God having gone into heaven, when were being subjected to Him angels and authorities and powers.
