ԱՌԱՋԻՆ ԿՈՐՆԹԱՑԻՍ 5

1 Առհասարակ կը լսուի թէ ձեր մէջ պոռնկութիւն կայ. եւ այնպիսի պոռնկութիւն՝ որ հեթանոսներուն մէջ իսկ չկայ, որպէս թէ մէկը ունենայ իր հօր կինը:

There goeth a comen sayinge that ther is fornicacion amoge you and soche fornicacion as is not once named amonge the gentyls: that one shuld have his fathers wyfe.

2 Ու դուք հպարտացած էք, փոխանակ սգալու, որպէսզի ձեր մէջէն վերցուի ա՛ն՝ որ այս արարքը կատարեց:

And ye swell and have not rather sorowed yt he which hath done this dede myght be put fro amoge you.

3 Արդարեւ ես - թէպէտ մարմինով բացակայ եմ, բայց հոգիով՝ ներկայ - արդէն իսկ դատեցի այսպիսի արարք գործողը, որպէս թէ ներկայ ըլլալով:

For I verely as absent in body even so present in sprete have determyned all redy (as though I were present) of him that hath done this dede

4 Մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի անունով, երբ հաւաքուիք՝ դուք եւ իմ հոգիս, մեր Տէրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի զօրութեամբ,

in the name of oure Lorde Iesu Christ when ye are gaddered togedder and my sprete with the power of the Lorde Iesus Christ

5 մատնեցէ՛ք այդպիսի մէկը Սատանային՝ մարմինին աւերումին համար, որպէսզի հոգին փրկուի Տէր Յիսուսի օրը:

to deliver him vnto Satan for ye destruccio of the flesshe yt the sprete maye be saved in ye daye of ye Lorde Iesus.

6 Այդ ձեր պարծանքը լաւ չէ: Չէ՞ք գիտեր թէ քիչ մը խմորը՝ կը խմորէ ամբողջ զանգուածը:

Youre reioysinge is not good: knowe ye not that a lytle leve sowreth the whole lompe of dowe.

7 Ուրեմն մաքրուեցէ՛ք հին խմորէն՝ որպէսզի ըլլաք նոր զանգուած մը, քանի որ անխմոր էք: Որովհետեւ Քրիստոս՝ մեր զատիկը՝ զոհուեցաւ մեզի համար.

Pourge therfore the olde leven that ye maye be newe dowe as ye are swete breed. For Christ oure esterlambe is offered vp for vs.

8 հետեւաբար տօ՛ն կատարենք՝ ո՛չ թէ հին խմորով, ո՛չ ալ չարամտութեան եւ չարութեան խմորով, հապա անկեղծութեան ու ճշմարտութեան անխմոր հացով:

Therfore let vs kepe holy daye not with olde leve nether with the leven of maliciousnes and wickednes: but with the swete breed of purenes and truth.

9 Գրեցի ձեզի նամակին մէջ, որ չյարաբերիք պոռնկողներուն հետ:

I wrote vnto you in a pistle that ye shuld not company with fornicatours.

10 Սակայն ոչ անշուշտ այս աշխարհի պոռնկողներուն, կամ ագահներուն, կամ յափշտակողներուն, կամ կռապաշտներուն հետ. այլապէս՝ պարտաւոր պիտի ըլլայիք աշխարհէն դուրս ելլել:

And I meat not at all of the fornicatours of this worlde ether of the coveteous or of extorsioners ether of the ydolaters: for then must ye nedes have gone out of ye worlde.

11 Իսկ հիմա գրեցի ձեզի որ չյարաբերիք, եթէ ոեւէ մէկը՝ որ եղբայր կը կոչուի՝՝, ըլլայ պոռնկող, կամ ագահ, կամ կռապաշտ, կամ հեգնող, կամ արբեցող, կամ յափշտակող. այդպիսի մարդու հետ մի՛ ուտէք անգամ:

But now I write vnto you that ye company not togedder yf eny that is called a brother be a fornicator or coveteous or a worshipper of ymages ether a raylar ether a dronkard or an extorcionar: with him that is soche se that ye eate not.

12 Որովհետեւ ի՞նչ պէտք ունիմ դատելու դուրսինները. միթէ դուք չէ՞ք դատեր ներսինները.

For what have I to do to iudge them which are with out? Do ye not iudge them that are with in?

13 իսկ Աստուա՛ծ պիտի դատէ դուրսինները: Ուստի վերցուցէ՛ք չարը ձեր մէջէն:

Them that are with out God shall iudge. Put awaye from amonge you that evyll parson.
