المَزامِير 26

١ 1 رَبُّ أَظْهِرْ بَرَاءَتِي لأَنِّي قَدْ سَلَكْتُ بِكَمَالِي، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَلاَ أَتَزَعْزَعُ

Yahweh, show that I (am innocent/have not done what is wrong). I always do what is right; I have trusted in you and never doubted [that you would help me].

٢ 2 افْحَصْنِي أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ وَاخْتَبِرْنِي. امْتَحِنْ دَخَائِلِي وَقَلْبِي،

Yahweh, examine what I have done and test me; thoroughly evaluate what I think [IDM].

٣ 3 لأَنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ نُصْبَ عَيْنَيَّ، وَقَدْ سَلَكْتُ فِي حَقِّكَ.

I never forget that you faithfully love me, I conduct my life according to your truth.

٤ 4 لَمْ أُجَالِسْ أَهْلَ الْبَاطِلِ وَمَعَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لاَ أَشْتَرِكُ.

I do not spend my time with liars and I stay away from hypocrites.

٥ 5 بَلْ أَبْغَضْتُ مَعْشَرَ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ، وَلَمْ أَجْلِسْ مَعَ الأَشْرَارِ.

I do not like to be with evil people, and I avoid wicked people.

٦ 6 أَغْسِلُ يَدَيَّ عُرْبُونَ بَرَاءَتِي وَأَنْضَمُّ إِلَى الْمُجْتَمِعِينَ حَوْلَ مَذْبَحِكَ يَارَبُّ.

Yahweh, I wash my hands to show that I (am innocent/have not done what was wrong). As I join with others marching around your altar,

٧ 7 مُتَرَنِّماً بِصَوْتِ الْحَمْدِ وَأُحَدِّثُ بِأَعْمَالِكَ الْعَجِيبَةِ كُلِّهَا.

we sing songs to thank you, and we tell others the wonderful things that you [have done].

٨ 8 رَبُّ، قَدْ أَحْبَبْتُ الإِقَامَةَ فِي بَيْتِكَ، حَيْثُ يَحِلُّ مَجْدُكَ.

Yahweh, I love [to be in] the temple where you live, in the place where your glory appears.

٩ 9 فَلاَ تَجْمَعْ نَفْسِي مَعَ الْخَاطِئِينَ، وَلاَ حَيَاتِي مَعَ سَافِكِي الدَّمِ،

Do not get rid of me like you get rid of sinners; do not cause me to die like you cause those who murder [MTY] people to die,

١٠ 10 الَّذِينَ أَيْدِيهِمْ مُلَوَّثَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ، وَيَمِينُهُمْ مَلأَى بِالرِّشْوَةِ.

and people who [SYN] are ready to do wicked things and people who are always taking bribes.

١١ 11 أَمَّا أَنَا فَبِكَمَالِي أَسْلُكُ، فَافْدِنِي وَتَحَنَّنْ عَلَيَّ.

But as for me, I always try to do what is right. So be kind to me and rescue me.

١٢ 12 قَدَمَايَ مُنْتَصِبَتَانِ عَلَى طَرِيقٍ مُسْتَوِيَةٍ، وَأُرَنِّمُ لِلرَّبِّ جَهْراً فِي مَحَافِلِ الْعِبَادَةِ.

I stand in places where I am safe, and when [all your people] gather together, I praise you.
