رُؤيا 8

١ 1 وَلَمَّا فَتَحَ ٱلْخَتْمَ ٱلسَّابِعَ حَدَثَ سُكُوتٌ فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ نَحْوَ نِصْفِ سَاعَةٍ.

And when he opened the seventh seal, there followed a silence in heaven, about the space of half an hour.

٢ 2 وَرَأَيْتُ ٱلسَّبْعَةَ ٱلْمَلَائِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقِفُونَ أَمَامَ ٱللهِ، وَقَدْ أُعْطُوا سَبْعَةَ أَبْوَاقٍ.

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given them.

٣ 3 وَجَاءَ مَلَاكٌ آخَرُ وَوَقَفَ عِنْدَ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ، وَمَعَهُ مِبْخَرَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، وَأُعْطِيَ بَخُورًا كَثِيرًا لِكَيْ يُقَدِّمَهُ مَعَ صَلَوَاتِ ٱلْقِدِّيسِينَ جَمِيعِهِمْ عَلَى مَذْبَحِ ٱلذَّهَبِ ٱلَّذِي أَمَامَ ٱلْعَرْشِ.

And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer, and a great quantity of incense was given him to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar, which was before the throne.

٤ 4 فَصَعِدَ دُخَانُ ٱلْبَخُورِ مَعَ صَلَوَاتِ ٱلْقِدِّيسِينَ مِنْ يَدِ ٱلْمَلَاكِ أَمَامَ ٱللهِ.

And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose up from the hand of the angel into the presence of God.

٥ 5 ثُمَّ أَخَذَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلْمِبْخَرَةَ وَمَلَأَهَا مِنْ نَارِ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ وَأَلْقَاهَا إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، فَحَدَثَتْ أَصْوَاتٌ وَرُعُودٌ وَبُرُوقٌ وَزَلْزَلَةٌ.

Then the angel took the censer, and he filled it with fire from the altar, and poured it upon the earth; and there followed thunders and voices and lightnings and an earthquake.

٦ 6 ثُمَّ إِنَّ ٱلسَّبْعَةَ ٱلْمَلَائِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُمُ ٱلسَّبْعَةُ ٱلْأَبْوَاقُ تَهَيَّأُوا لِكَيْ يُبَوِّقُوا.

And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow their trumpets.

٧ 7 فَبَوَّقَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلْأَوَّلُ، فَحَدَثَ بَرَدٌ وَنَارٌ مَخْلُوطَانِ بِدَمٍ، وَأُلْقِيَا إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، فَٱحْتَرَقَ ثُلْثُ ٱلْأَشْجَارِ، وَٱحْتَرَقَ كُلُّ عُشْبٍ أَخْضَرَ.

And the first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and it fell upon the earth; and the third part of the earth was burned up, and the third part of the trees, and all the green grass.

٨ 8 ثُمَّ بَوَّقَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلثَّانِي، فَكَأَنَّ جَبَلًا عَظِيمًا مُتَّقِدًا بِٱلنَّارِ أُلْقِيَ إِلَى ٱلْبَحْرِ، فَصَارَ ثُلْثُ ٱلْبَحْرِ دَمًا.

And the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea; and a third part of the sea became blood;

٩ 9 وَمَاتَ ثُلْثُ ٱلْخَلَائِقِ ٱلَّتِي فِي ٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلَّتِي لَهَا حَيَاةٌ، وَأُهْلِكَ ثُلْثُ ٱلسُّفُنِ.

and a third part of the living creatures in the sea died, and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

١٠ 10 ثُمَّ بَوَّقَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلثَّالِثُ، فَسَقَطَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ كَوْكَبٌ عَظِيمٌ مُتَّقِدٌ كَمِصْبَاحٍ، وَوَقَعَ عَلَى ثُلْثِ ٱلْأَنْهَارِ وَعَلَى يَنَابِيعِ ٱلْمِيَاهِ.

And the third angel blew his trumpet, and there fell from heaven a great star, blazing like a torch. It fell upon a third of the rivers and upon the springs. (The name of the star is called Wormwood.)

١١ 11 وَٱسْمُ ٱلْكَوْكَبِ يُدْعَى «ٱلْأَفْسَنْتِينَ». فَصَارَ ثُلْثُ ٱلْمِيَاهِ أَفْسَنْتِينًا، وَمَاتَ كَثِيرُونَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مِنَ ٱلْمِيَاهِ لِأَنَّهَا صَارَتْ مُرَّةً.

A third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ بَوَّقَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلرَّابِعُ، فَضُرِبَ ثُلْثُ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَثُلْثُ ٱلْقَمَرِ وَثُلْثُ ٱلنُّجُومِ، حَتَّى يُظْلِمَ ثُلْثُهُنَّ، وَٱلنَّهَارُ لَا يُضِيءُ ثُلْثُهُ، وَٱللَّيْلُ كَذَلِكَ.

And the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and the third part of the sun was blasted, and a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars; so that the third part of them should be darkened, and for a third part of the day there was no light, and at night it was the same.

١٣ 13 ثُمَّ نَظَرْتُ وَسَمِعْتُ مَلَاكًا طَائِرًا فِي وَسَطِ ٱلسَّمَاءِ قَائِلًا بِصَوْتٍ عَظِيمٍ: «وَيْلٌ! وَيْلٌ! وَيْلٌ لِلسَّاكِنِينَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِنْ أَجْلِ بَقِيَّةِ أَصْوَاتِ أَبْوَاقِ ٱلثَّلَاثَةِ ٱلْمَلَائِكَةِ ٱلْمُزْمِعِينَ أَنْ يُبَوِّقُوا!».

And I looked and I heard a solitary eagle flying in mid-heaven, and crying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe for all who live on the earth, Because of the rest of the trumpet-blasts That the three angels are about to blow!"
