رُؤيا 16

١ 1 وَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا عَظِيمًا مِنَ ٱلْهَيْكَلِ قَائِلًا لِلسَّبْعَةِ ٱلْمَلَائِكَةِ: «ٱمْضُوا وَٱسْكُبُوا جَامَاتِ غَضَبِ ٱللهِ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ».

Then I heard a loud voice, which came from the Temple, saying to the seven angels – “Go and empty the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth.”

٢ 2 فَمَضَى ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَسَكَبَ جَامَهُ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، فَحَدَثَتْ دَمَامِلُ خَبِيثَةٌ وَرَدِيَّةٌ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ ٱلَّذِينَ بِهِمْ سِمَةُ ٱلْوَحْشِ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَسْجُدُونَ لِصُورَتِهِ.

The first angel went and emptied his bowl on the earth; and it turned to loathsome and painful sores on all who bore the brand of the Beast and who worshiped its image.

٣ 3 ثُمَّ سَكَبَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلثَّانِي جَامَهُ عَلَى ٱلْبَحْرِ، فَصَارَ دَمًا كَدَمِ مَيِّتٍ. وَكُلُّ نَفْسٍ حَيَّةٍ مَاتَتْ فِي ٱلْبَحْرِ.

Then the second angel emptied his bowl on the sea; and it turned to blood like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died – everything in the sea.

٤ 4 ثُمَّ سَكَبَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلثَّالِثُ جَامَهُ عَلَى ٱلْأَنْهَارِ وَعَلَى يَنَابِيعِ ٱلْمِيَاهِ، فَصَارَتْ دَمًا.

Then the third angel emptied his bowl on the rivers and springs of water; and it turned to blood.

٥ 5 وَسَمِعْتُ مَلَاكَ ٱلْمِيَاهِ يَقُولُ: «عَادِلٌ أَنْتَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْكَائِنُ وَٱلَّذِي كَانَ وَٱلَّذِي يَكُونُ، لِأَنَّكَ حَكَمْتَ هَكَذَا.

And I heard the angel of the Waters saying – “Righteous are you, you who is and who is, the Holy One, in inflicting this judgment;

٦ 6 لِأَنَّهُمْ سَفَكُوا دَمَ قِدِّيسِينَ وَأَنْبِيَاءَ، فَأَعْطَيْتَهُمْ دَمًا لِيَشْرَبُوا. لِأَنَّهُمْ مُسْتَحِقُّونَ!».

for men shed the blood of Christ’s people and of the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve.”

٧ 7 وَسَمِعْتُ آخَرَ مِنَ ٱلْمَذْبَحِ قَائِلًا: «نَعَمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْإِلَهُ ٱلْقَادِرُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ! حَقٌّ وَعَادِلَةٌ هِيَ أَحْكَامُكَ».

And I heard the response from the altar – “Yes, Lord, our God, the Almighty, true and righteous are they judgments.”

٨ 8 ثُمَّ سَكَبَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلرَّابِعُ جَامَهُ عَلَى ٱلشَّمْسِ، فَأُعْطِيَتْ أَنْ تُحْرِقَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِنَارٍ،

Then the fourth angel emptied his bowl on the sun; and he was permitted to scorch men with fire;

٩ 9 فَٱحْتَرَقَ ٱلنَّاسُ ٱحْتِرَاقًا عَظِيمًا، وَجَدَّفُوا عَلَى ٱسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى هَذِهِ ٱلضَّرَبَاتِ، وَلَمْ يَتُوبُوا لِيُعْطُوهُ مَجْدًا.

and men were scorched by the intense heat. They blasphemed the name of God who controlled these curses, yet they did not repent and give him praise.

١٠ 10 ثُمَّ سَكَبَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلخَامِسُ جَامَهُ عَلَى عَرْشِ ٱلْوَحْشِ، فَصَارَتْ مَمْلَكَتُهُ مُظْلِمَةً. وَكَانُوا يَعَضُّونَ عَلَى أَلْسِنَتِهِمْ مِنَ ٱلْوَجَعِ.

Then the fifth angel emptied his bowl on the throne of the Beast; and darkness fell on its kingdom. Men gnawed their tongues for pain,

١١ 11 وَجَدَّفُوا عَلَى إِلَهِ ٱلسَّمَاءِ مِنْ أَوْجَاعِهِمْ وَمِنْ قُرُوحِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يَتُوبُوا عَنْ أَعْمَالِهِمْ.

and blasphemed the God of heaven, because of their pains and because of their sores; yet they did not repent of what they had done.

١٢ 12 ثُمَّ سَكَبَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلسَّادِسُ جَامَهُ عَلَى ٱلنَّهْرِ ٱلْكَبِيرِ ٱلْفُرَاتِ، فَنَشِفَ مَاؤُهُ لِكَيْ يُعَدَّ طَرِيقُ ٱلْمُلُوكِ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنْ مَشْرِقِ ٱلشَّمْسِ.

Then the sixth angel emptied his bowl on the great river Euphrates; and the water in the river was dried up, so that the road for the kings of the East might be made ready.

١٣ 13 وَرَأَيْتُ مِنْ فَمِ ٱلتِّنِّينِ، وَمِنْ فَمِ ٱلْوَحْشِ، وَمِنْ فَمِ ٱلنَّبِيِّ ٱلْكَذَّابِ، ثَلَاثَةَ أَرْوَاحٍ نَجِسَةٍ شِبْهَ ضَفَادِعَ،

And I saw three foul spirits, like frogs, come from the mouth of the Dragon and from the mouth of the Beast and from the mouth of the false prophet.

١٤ 14 فَإِنَّهُمْ أَرْوَاحُ شَيَاطِينَ صَانِعَةٌ آيَاتٍ، تَخْرُجُ عَلَى مُلُوكِ ٱلْعَالَمِ وَكُلِّ ٱلْمَسْكُونَةِ، لِتَجْمَعَهُمْ لِقِتَالِ ذَلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ، يَوْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلْقَادِرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ.

They are the spirits of demons, and perform marvels; they go to kings all over the world, to collect them for the battle on the great day of Almighty God.

١٥ 15 «هَا أَنَا آتِي كَلِصٍّ! طُوبَى لِمَنْ يَسْهَرُ وَيَحْفَظُ ثِيَابَهُ لِئَلَّا يَمْشِيَ عُرْيَانًا فَيَرَوْا عُرْيَتَهُ».

(“I am coming like a thief! Happy will he be who is on the watch, and keeps his clothing at hand, so that he will not have to walk about unclothed and let men see his nakedness.”)

١٦ 16 فَجَمَعَهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْضِعِ ٱلَّذِي يُدْعَى بِٱلْعِبْرَانِيَّةِ «هَرْمَجَدُّونَ».

And the spirits collected the kings at the place called in Hebrew “Har-Magedon.”

١٧ 17 ثُمَّ سَكَبَ ٱلْمَلَاكُ ٱلسَّابِعُ جَامَهُ عَلَى ٱلْهَوَاءِ، فَخَرَجَ صَوْتٌ عَظِيمٌ مِنْ هَيْكَلِ ٱلسَّمَاءِ مِنَ ٱلْعَرْشِ قَائِلًا: «قَدْ تَمَّ!».

Then the seventh angel emptied his bowl on the air. (A loud voice came from the throne in the Temple; it said “All is over.”)

١٨ 18 فَحَدَثَتْ أَصْوَاتٌ وَرُعُودٌ وَبُرُوقٌ. وَحَدَثَتْ زَلْزَلَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ، لَمْ يَحْدُثْ مِثْلُهَا مُنْذُ صَارَ ٱلنَّاسُ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ، زَلْزَلَةٌ بِمِقْدَارِهَا عَظِيمَةٌ هَكَذَا.

There followed flashes of lightning, cries, and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as had not occurred since man began to be on the earth – none so great;

١٩ 19 وَصَارَتِ ٱلْمَدِينَةُ ٱلْعَظِيمَةُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَقْسَامٍ، وَمُدُنُ ٱلْأُمَمِ سَقَطَتْ، وَبَابِلُ ٱلْعَظِيمَةُ ذُكِرَتْ أَمَامَ ٱللهِ لِيُعْطِيَهَا كَأْسَ خَمْرِ سَخَطِ غَضَبِهِ.

and the great city was torn in three, and the cities of the nation fell, and God remembered Babylon the Great, and gave her the maddening wine-cup of his wrath;

٢٠ 20 وَكُلُّ جَزِيرَةٍ هَرَبَتْ، وَجِبَالٌ لَمْ تُوجَدْ.

and every island vanished, and the mountains disappeared.

٢١ 21 وَبَرَدٌ عَظِيمٌ، نَحْوُ ثِقَلِ وَزْنَةٍ، نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ. فَجَدَّفَ ٱلنَّاسُ عَلَى ٱللهِ مِنْ ضَرْبَةِ ٱلْبَرَدِ، لِأَنَّ ضَرْبَتَهُ عَظِيمَةٌ جِدًّا.

Great hailstones, a pound in weight, are falling on men from the heavens. And men blasphemed God because of the curse of the hail, for it was a very terrible curse.
