رُؤيا 15

١ 1 ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُ آيَةً أُخْرَى فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ،عَظِيمَةً وَعَجِيبَةً: سَبْعَةَ مَلَائِكَةٍ مَعَهُمُ ٱلسَّبْعُ ٱلضَّرَبَاتُ ٱلْأَخِيرَةُ، لِأَنْ بِهَا أُكْمِلَ غَضَبُ ٱللهِ.

Then I saw another portent in the heavens — a great and marvellous portent — seven angels with the seven last Curses; because with them the Wrath of God is ended.

٢ 2 وَرَأَيْتُ كَبَحْرٍ مِنْ زُجَاجٍ مُخْتَلِطٍ بِنَارٍ، وَٱلْغَالِبِينَ عَلَى ٱلْوَحْشِ وَصُورَتِهِ وَعَلَى سِمَتِهِ وَعَدَدِ ٱسْمِهِ، وَاقِفِينَ عَلَى ٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلزُّجَاجِيِّ، مَعَهُمْ قِيثَارَاتُ ٱللهِ،

Then I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mixed with fire; and, standing by this sea of glass, holding the harps of God, I saw those who had come victorious out of the conflict with the Beast and its image and the number that formed its name.

٣ 3 وَهُمْ يُرَتِّلُونَ تَرْنِيمَةَ مُوسَى عَبْدِ ٱللهِ، وَتَرْنِيمَةَ ٱلْخَرُوفِ قَائِلِينَ: «عَظِيمَةٌ وَعَجِيبَةٌ هِيَ أَعْمَالُكَ، أَيُّهَا ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْإِلَهُ، ٱلْقَادِرُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ! عَادِلَةٌ وَحَقٌّ هِيَ طُرُقُكَ، يَا مَلِكَ ٱلْقِدِّيسِينَ!

They are singing the song of Moses, the Servant of God, and the song of the Lamb — ‘Great and marvellous are thy deeds, O Lord, our God, the Almighty. Righteous and true are thy ways, Eternal King.

٤ 4 مَنْ لَا يَخَافُكَ يَارَبُّ وَيُمَجِّدُ ٱسْمَكَ؟ لِأَنَّكَ وَحْدَكَ قُدُّوسٌ، لِأَنَّ جَمِيعَ ٱلْأُمَمِ سَيَأْتُونَ وَيَسْجُدُونَ أَمَامَكَ، لِأَنَّ أَحْكَامَكَ قَدْ أُظْهِرَتْ».

Who will not reverence and praise thy Name, O Lord? Thou alone art holy! All nations will come and worship before thee, for thy judgments have become manifest.’

٥ 5 ثُمَّ بَعْدَ هَذَا نَظَرْتُ وَإِذَا قَدِ ٱنْفَتَحَ هَيْكَلُ خَيْمَةِ ٱلشَّهَادَةِ فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ،

After this I saw that the inmost shrine of the Tabernacle of Revelation in Heaven was opened,

٦ 6 وَخَرَجَتِ ٱلسَّبْعَةُ ٱلْمَلَائِكَةُ وَمَعَهُمُ ٱلسَّبْعُ ٱلضَّرَبَاتِ مِنَ ٱلْهَيْكَلِ، وَهُمْ مُتَسَرْبِلُونَ بِكَتَّانٍ نَقِيٍّ وَبَهِيٍّ، وَمُتَمَنْطِقُونَ عِنْدَ صُدُورِهِمْ بِمَنَاطِقَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ.

and out of it came the seven angels with the seven Curses. They were adorned with precious stones, pure and bright, and had golden girdles round their breasts.

٧ 7 وَوَاحِدٌ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْبَعَةِ ٱلْحَيَوَانَاتِ أَعْطَى ٱلسَّبْعَةَ ٱلْمَلَائِكَةِ سَبْعَةَ جَامَاتٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، مَمْلُوَّةٍ مِنْ غَضَبِ ٱللهِ ٱلْحَيِّ إِلَى أَبَدِ ٱلْآبِدِينَ. (aiōn g165)

One of the four Creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls, filled with the Wrath of God who lives for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)

٨ 8 وَٱمْتَلَأَ ٱلْهَيْكَلُ دُخَانًا مِنْ مَجْدِ ٱللهِ وَمِنْ قُدْرَتِهِ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَحَدٌ يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ ٱلْهَيْكَلَ حَتَّى كَمِلَتْ سَبْعُ ضَرَبَاتِ ٱلسَّبْعَةِ ٱلْمَلَائِكَةِ.

‘The Temple was filled with smoke from the Glory’ and Majesty of God; and no one could enter the Temple, until the seven Curses inflicted by the seven angels were at an end.
