اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 99

١ 1 اَلرَّبُّ قَدْ مَلَكَ. تَرْتَعِدُ ٱلشُّعُوبُ. هُوَ جَالِسٌ عَلَى ٱلْكَرُوبِيمِ. تَتَزَلْزَلُ ٱلْأَرْضُ.

Adonai reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned among the cherubim. Let the earth be moved.

٢ 2 ٱلرَّبُّ عَظِيمٌ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ، وَعَالٍ هُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ ٱلشُّعُوبِ.

Adonai is great in Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]. He is high above all the peoples.

٣ 3 يَحْمَدُونَ ٱسْمَكَ ٱلْعَظِيمَ وَٱلْمَهُوبَ، قُدُّوسٌ هُوَ.

Let them yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to your great and awesome name. He is Holy!

٤ 4 وَعِزُّ ٱلْمَلِكِ أَنْ يُحِبَّ ٱلْحَقَّ. أَنْتَ ثَبَّتَّ ٱلِٱسْتِقَامَةَ. أَنْتَ أَجْرَيْتَ حَقًّا وَعَدْلًا فِي يَعْقُوبَ.

The King’s strength also 'ahav ·affectionately loves· mishpat ·justice·. You do establish equity. You execute mishpat ·justice· and righteousness in Jacob [Supplanter].

٥ 5 عَلُّوا ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَنَا، وَٱسْجُدُوا عِنْدَ مَوْطِئِ قَدَمَيْهِ. قُدُّوسٌ هُوَ.

Exalt Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God]. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship at his footstool. He is Holy!

٦ 6 مُوسَى وَهَارُونُ بَيْنَ كَهَنَتِهِ، وَصَمُوئِيلُ بَيْنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ بِٱسْمِهِ. دَعَوْا ٱلرَّبَّ وَهُوَ ٱسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ.

Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] were among his priests, Samuel among those who call on his name; they called on Adonai, and he answered them.

٧ 7 بِعَمُودِ ٱلسَّحَابِ كَلَّمَهُمْ. حَفِظُوا شَهَادَاتِهِ وَٱلْفَرِيضَةَ ٱلَّتِي أَعْطَاهُمْ.

He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, the statute that he gave them.

٨ 8 أَيُّهَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا، أَنْتَ ٱسْتَجَبْتَ لَهُمْ. إِلَهًا غَفُورًا كُنْتَ لَهُمْ، وَمُنْتَقِمًا عَلَى أَفْعَالِهِمْ.

You answered them, Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God]. You are a God who forgave them, although you took vengeance for their doings.

٩ 9 عَلُّوا ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَنَا، وَٱسْجُدُوا فِي جَبَلِ قُدْسِهِ، لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ إِلَهَنَا قُدُّوسٌ.

Exalt Adonai, our God. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship at his holy hill, for Adonai, our God, is holy!
