اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 70

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. لِدَاوُدَ لِلتَّذْكِيرِ اَللَّهُمَّ، إِلَى تَنْجِيَتِي. يَارَبُّ، إِلَى مَعُونَتِي أَسْرِعْ.

To the Chief Musician. David’s. To call to Remembrance. [Be pleased] O God, to rescue me, O Yahweh, to help me—make haste.

٢ 2 لِيَخْزَ وَيَخْجَلْ طَالِبُو نَفْسِي. لِيَرْتَدَّ إِلَى خَلْفٍ وَيَخْجَلِ ٱلْمُشْتَهُونَ لِي شَرًّا.

Let them turn pale and then at once blush, Who are seeking my life, —Let them draw back, and be confounded, Who are taking pleasure in my misfortune;

٣ 3 لِيَرْجِعْ مِنْ أَجْلِ خِزْيِهِمُ ٱلْقَائِلُونَ: «هَهْ! هَهْ!».

Let them turn back, on account of their own shame, Who are saying, Aha! Aha!

٤ 4 وَلْيَبْتَهِجْ وَيَفْرَحْ بِكَ كُلُّ طَالِبِيكَ، وَلْيَقُلْ دَائِمًا مُحِبُّو خَلَاصِكَ: «لِيَتَعَظَّمِ ٱلرَّبُّ».

Let all them be glad and rejoice in thee, Yea, let them, who are seekers of thee, —say continually, God be magnified! Who are lovers of thy salvation.

٥ 5 أَمَّا أَنَا فَمِسْكِينٌ وَفَقِيرٌ. اَللَّهُمَّ، أَسْرِعْ إِلَيَّ. مُعِينِي وَمُنْقِذِي أَنْتَ. يَارَبُّ، لَا تَبْطُؤْ.

But, I, being humbled and needy, O God, haste to me, —My help and my deliverer, art thou, O Yahweh do not tarry.
