اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 62

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ عَلَى «يَدُوثُونَ». مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ إِنَّمَا لِلهِ ٱنْتَظَرَتْ نَفْسِي. مِنْ قِبَلِهِ خَلَاصِي.

To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation.

٢ 2 إِنَّمَا هُوَ صَخْرَتِي وَخَلَاصِي، مَلْجَإِي، لَا أَتَزَعْزَعُ كَثِيرًا.

He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [he is] my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

٣ 3 إِلَى مَتَى تَهْجِمُونَ عَلَى ٱلْإِنْسَانِ؟ تَهْدِمُونَهُ كُلُّكُمْ كَحَائِطٍ مُنْقَضٍّ، كَجِدَارٍ وَاقِعٍ!

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall [shall ye be, and as] a tottering fence.

٤ 4 إِنَّمَا يَتَآمَرُونَ لِيَدْفَعُوهُ عَنْ شَرَفِهِ. يَرْضَوْنَ بِٱلْكَذِبِ. بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ يُبَارِكُونَ وَبِقُلُوبِهِمْ يَلْعَنُونَ. سِلَاهْ.

They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)

٥ 5 إِنَّمَا لِلهِ ٱنْتَظِرِي يَا نَفْسِي، لِأَنَّ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ رَجَائِي.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.

٦ 6 إِنَّمَا هُوَ صَخْرَتِي وَخَلَاصِي، مَلْجَإِي فَلَا أَتَزَعْزَعُ.

He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defence; I shall not be moved.

٧ 7 عَلَى ٱللهِ خَلَاصِي وَمَجْدِي، صَخْرَةُ قُوَّتِي مُحْتَمَايَ فِي ٱللهِ.

In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.

٨ 8 تَوَكَّلُوا عَلَيْهِ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ يَا قَوْمُ. ٱسْكُبُوا قُدَّامَهُ قُلُوبَكُمْ. ٱللهُ مَلْجَأٌ لَنَا. سِلَاهْ.

Trust in him at all times; [ye] people, pour out your heart before him: God [is] a refuge for us. (Selah)

٩ 9 إِنَّمَا بَاطِلٌ بَنُو آدَمَ. كَذِبٌ بَنُو ٱلْبَشَرِ. فِي ٱلْمَوَازِينِ هُمْ إِلَى فَوْقُ. هُمْ مِنْ بَاطِلٍ أَجْمَعُونَ.

Surely men of low degree [are] vanity, [and] men of high degree [are] a lie: to be laid in the balance, they [are] altogether [lighter] than vanity.

١٠ 10 لَا تَتَّكِلُوا عَلَى ٱلظُّلْمِ وَلَا تَصِيرُوا بَاطِلًا فِي ٱلْخَطْفِ. إِنْ زَادَ ٱلْغِنَى فَلَا تَضَعُوا عَلَيْهِ قَلْبًا.

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [upon them].

١١ 11 مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً تَكَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ، وَهَاتَيْنِ ٱلِٱثْنَتَيْنِ سَمِعْتُ: أَنَّ ٱلْعِزَّةَ لِلهِ،

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God.

١٢ 12 وَلَكَ يَارَبُّ ٱلرَّحْمَةُ، لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ تُجَازِي ٱلْإِنْسَانَ كَعَمَلِهِ.

Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
