اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 61

١ 1 لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ عَلَى «ذَوَاتِ ٱلْأَوْتَارِ». لِدَاوُدَ اِسْمَعْ يَا ٱللهُ صُرَاخِي، وَٱصْغَ إِلَى صَلَاتِي.

To the Chief Musician. Upon a Stringed Instrument. David’s. Hear, O God, my loud cry, Attend unto my prayer:

٢ 2 مِنْ أَقْصَى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَدْعُوكَ إِذَا غُشِيَ عَلَى قَلْبِي. إِلَى صَخْرَةٍ أَرْفَعَ مِنِّي تَهْدِينِي.

From the end of the earth, unto thee do I cry, When my heart fainteth away, Unto a rock that is higher than I, wilt thou lead me.

٣ 3 لِأَنَّكَ كُنْتَ مَلْجَأً لِي، بُرْجَ قُوَّةٍ مِنْ وَجْهِ ٱلْعَدُوِّ.

For thou hast been, A Refuge to me, A Tower of Strength, from the face of the foe.

٤ 4 لَأَسْكُنَنَّ فِي مَسْكَنِكَ إِلَى ٱلدُّهُورِ. أَحْتَمِي بِسِتْرِ جَنَاحَيْكَ. سِلَاهْ.

I would be a guest in thy tent to the ages, I would seek refuge in the concealment of thy wings. (Selah)

٥ 5 لِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ يَا ٱللهُ ٱسْتَمَعْتَ نُذُورِي. أَعْطَيْتَ مِيرَاثَ خَائِفِي ٱسْمِكَ.

For, thou, O God, hast hearkened to my vows, Thou hast granted a possession, unto them who revere thy Name.

٦ 6 إِلَى أَيَّامِ ٱلْمَلِكِ تُضِيفُ أَيَّامًا. سِنِينُهُ كَدَوْرٍ فَدَوْرٍ.

Days—unto the days of the king, wilt thou add. His years, as of generation after generation:

٧ 7 يَجْلِسُ قُدَّامَ ٱللهِ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ. ٱجْعَلْ رَحْمَةً وَحَقًّا يَحْفَظَانِهِ.

Let him retain his seat age-abidingly before God, Appoint that, lovingkindness and faithfulness, my watch over him!

٨ 8 هَكَذَا أُرَنِّمُ لِٱسْمِكَ إِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ، لِوَفَاءِ نُذُورِي يَوْمًا فَيَوْمًا.

So, will I sing thy Name unto futurity, Paying my vows, day by day.
