اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 57
| لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. عَلَى «لَا تُهْلِكْ». مُذَهَّبَةٌ لِدَاوُدَ عِنْدَمَا هَرَبَ مِنْ قُدَّامِ شَاوُلَ فِي ٱلْمَغَارَةِ. اِرْحَمْنِي يَا ٱللهُ ٱرْحَمْنِي، لِأَنَّهُ بِكَ ٱحْتَمَتْ نَفْسِي، وَبِظِلِّ جَنَاحَيْكَ أَحْتَمِي إِلَى أَنْ تَعْبُرَ ٱلْمَصَائِبُ. | ١ 1 |

| أَصْرُخُ إِلَى ٱللهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ، إِلَى ٱللهِ ٱلْمُحَامِي عَنِّي. | ٢ 2 |
to call: call to to/for God Most High to/for God to cease upon me
| يُرْسِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ وَيُخَلِّصُنِي. عَيَّرَ ٱلَّذِي يَتَهَمَّمُنِي. سِلَاهْ. يُرْسِلُ ٱللهُ رَحْمَتَهُ وَحَقَّهُ. | ٣ 3 |
to send: depart from heaven and to save me to taunt to crush me (Selah) to send: depart God kindness his and truth: faithful his
| نَفْسِي بَيْنَ ٱلْأَشْبَالِ. أَضْطَجِعُ بَيْنَ ٱلْمُتَّقِدِينَ بَنِي آدَمَ. أَسْنَانُهُمْ أَسِنَّةٌ وَسِهَامٌ، وَلِسَانُهُمْ سَيْفٌ مَاضٍ. | ٤ 4 |
soul my in/on/with midst lion to lie down: lay down to kindle son: child man tooth their spear and arrow and tongue their sword sharp
| ٱرْتَفِعِ ٱللَّهُمَّ عَلَى ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ. لِيَرْتَفِعْ عَلَى كُلِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ مَجْدُكَ. | ٥ 5 |
to exalt [emph?] upon [the] heaven God upon all [the] land: country/planet glory your
| هَيَّأُوا شَبَكَةً لِخَطَوَاتِي. ٱنْحَنَتْ نَفْسِي. حَفَرُوا قُدَّامِي حُفْرَةً. سَقَطُوا فِي وَسَطِهَا. سِلَاهْ. | ٦ 6 |

| ثَابِتٌ قَلْبِي يَا ٱللهُ، ثَابِتٌ قَلْبِي. أُغَنِّي وَأُرَنِّمُ. | ٧ 7 |
to establish: establish heart my God to establish: establish heart my to sing and to sing
| ٱسْتَيْقِظْ يَا مَجْدِي! ٱسْتَيْقِظِي يَارَبَابُ وَيَا عُودُ! أَنَا أَسْتَيْقِظُ سَحَرًا. | ٨ 8 |
to rouse [emph?] glory my to rouse [emph?] [the] harp and lyre to rouse dawn
| أَحْمَدُكَ بَيْنَ ٱلشُّعُوبِ يَارَبُّ. أُرَنِّمُ لَكَ بَيْنَ ٱلْأُمَمِ. | ٩ 9 |
to give thanks you in/on/with people Lord to sing you not people
| لِأَنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ قَدْ عَظُمَتْ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ، وَإِلَى ٱلْغَمَامِ حَقُّكَ. | ١٠ 10 |
for great: large till heaven kindness your and till cloud truth: faithful your
| ٱرْتَفِعِ ٱللَّهُمَّ عَلَى ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ. لِيَرْتَفِعْ عَلَى كُلِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ مَجْدُكَ. | ١١ 11 |
