اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 33

١ 1 اِهْتِفُوا أَيُّهَا ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ بِٱلرَّبِّ. بِٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِينَ يَلِيقُ ٱلتَّسْبِيحُ.

Exult, ye righteous, in Jehovah: praise is comely for the upright.

٢ 2 ٱحْمَدُوا ٱلرَّبَّ بِٱلْعُودِ. بِرَبَابَةٍ ذَاتِ عَشَرَةِ أَوْتَارٍ رَنِّمُوا لَهُ.

Give thanks unto Jehovah with the harp; sing psalms unto him with the ten-stringed lute.

٣ 3 غَنُّوا لَهُ أُغْنِيَةً جَدِيدَةً. أَحْسِنُوا ٱلْعَزْفَ بِهُتَافٍ.

Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud sound.

٤ 4 لِأَنَّ كَلِمَةَ ٱلرَّبِّ مُسْتَقِيمَةٌ، وَكُلَّ صُنْعِهِ بِٱلْأَمَانَةِ.

For the word of Jehovah is right, and all his work is in faithfulness.

٥ 5 يُحِبُّ ٱلْبِرَّ وَٱلْعَدْلَ. ٱمْتَلَأَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنْ رَحْمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ.

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the loving-kindness of Jehovah.

٦ 6 بِكَلِمَةِ ٱلرَّبِّ صُنِعَتِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتُ، وَبِنَسَمَةِ فِيهِ كُلُّ جُنُودِهَا.

By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

٧ 7 يَجْمَعُ كَنَدٍّ أَمْوَاهَ ٱلْيَمِّ. يَجْعَلُ ٱللُّجَجَ فِي أَهْرَاءٍ.

He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; he layeth up the deeps in storehouses.

٨ 8 لِتَخْشَ ٱلرَّبَّ كُلُّ ٱلْأَرْضِ، وَمِنْهُ لِيَخَفْ كُلُّ سُكَّانِ ٱلْمَسْكُونَةِ.

Let all the earth fear Jehovah; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

٩ 9 لِأَنَّهُ قَالَ فَكَانَ. هُوَ أَمَرَ فَصَارَ.

For he spoke, and it was [done]; he commanded, and it stood fast.

١٠ 10 ٱلرَّبُّ أَبْطَلَ مُؤَامَرَةَ ٱلْأُمَمِ. لَاشَى أَفْكَارَ ٱلشُّعُوبِ.

Jehovah frustrateth the counsel of the nations; he maketh the thoughts of the peoples of none effect.

١١ 11 أَمَّا مُؤَامَرَةُ ٱلرَّبِّ فَإِلَى ٱلْأَبَدِ تَثْبُتُ. أَفْكَارُ قَلْبِهِ إِلَى دَوْرٍ فَدَوْرٍ.

The counsel of Jehovah standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.

١٢ 12 طُوبَى لِلْأُمَّةِ ٱلَّتِي ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُهَا، ٱلشَّعْبِ ٱلَّذِي ٱخْتَارَهُ مِيرَاثًا لِنَفْسِهِ.

Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance!

١٣ 13 مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ نَظَرَ ٱلرَّبُّ. رَأَى جَمِيعَ بَنِي ٱلْبَشَرِ.

Jehovah looketh from the heavens; he beholdeth all the sons of men:

١٤ 14 مِنْ مَكَانِ سُكْنَاهُ تَطَلَّعَ إِلَى جَمِيعِ سُكَّانِ ٱلْأَرْضِ.

From the place of his habitation he looketh forth upon all the inhabitants of the earth;

١٥ 15 ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ قُلُوبَهُمْ جَمِيعًا، ٱلْمُنْتَبِهُ إِلَى كُلِّ أَعْمَالِهِمْ.

He who fashioneth the hearts of them all, who considereth all their works.

١٦ 16 لَنْ يَخْلُصَ ٱلْمَلِكُ بِكِثْرَةِ ٱلْجَيْشِ. ٱلْجَبَّارُ لَا يُنْقَذُ بِعِظَمِ ٱلْقُوَّةِ.

The king is not saved by the multitude of [his] forces; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

١٧ 17 بَاطِلٌ هُوَ ٱلْفَرَسُ لِأَجْلِ ٱلْخَلَاصِ، وَبِشِدَّةِ قُوَّتِهِ لَا يُنَجِّي.

The horse is a vain thing for safety; neither doth he deliver by his great power.

١٨ 18 هُوَذَا عَيْنُ ٱلرَّبِّ عَلَى خَائِفِيهِ ٱلرَّاجِينَ رَحْمَتَهُ،

Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his loving-kindness,

١٩ 19 لِيُنَجِّيَ مِنَ ٱلْمَوْتِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ، وَلِيَسْتَحْيِيَهُمْ فِي ٱلْجُوعِ.

To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

٢٠ 20 أَنْفُسُنَا ٱنْتَظَرَتِ ٱلرَّبَّ. مَعُونَتُنَا وَتُرْسُنَا هُوَ.

Our soul waiteth for Jehovah: he is our help and our shield.

٢١ 21 لِأَنَّهُ بِهِ تَفْرَحُ قُلُوبُنَا، لِأَنَّنَا عَلَى ٱسْمِهِ ٱلْقُدُّوسِ ٱتَّكَلْنَا.

For in him shall our heart rejoice, because we have confided in his holy name.

٢٢ 22 لِتَكُنْ يَارَبُّ رَحْمَتُكَ عَلَيْنَا حَسْبَمَا ٱنْتَظَرْنَاكَ.

Let thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee.
