اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 26

١ 1 لِدَاوُدَ اِقْضِ لِي يَارَبُّ لِأَنِّي بِكَمَالِي سَلَكْتُ، وَعَلَى ٱلرَّبِّ تَوَكَّلْتُ بِلَا تَقَلْقُلٍ.

`To Dauid. Lord, deme thou me, for Y entride in myn innocens; and Y hopynge in the Lord schal not be made vnstidfast.

٢ 2 جَرِّبْنِي يَارَبُّ وَٱمْتَحِنِّي. صَفِّ كُلْيَتَيَّ وَقَلْبِي.

Lord, preue thou me, and asaie me; brenne thou my reynes, and myn herte.

٣ 3 لِأَنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَمَامَ عَيْنِي. وَقَدْ سَلَكْتُ بِحَقِّكَ.

For whi thi merci is bifor myn iyen; and Y pleside in thi treuthe.

٤ 4 لَمْ أَجْلِسْ مَعَ أُنَاسِ ٱلسُّوءِ، وَمَعَ ٱلْمَاكِرِينَ لَا أَدْخُلُ.

I sat not with the counsel of vanyte; and Y schal not entre with men doynge wickid thingis.

٥ 5 أَبْغَضْتُ جَمَاعَةَ ٱلْأَثَمَةِ، وَمَعَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ لَا أَجْلِسُ.

I hatide the chirche of yuele men; and Y schal not sitte with wickid men.

٦ 6 أَغْسِلُ يَدَيَّ فِي ٱلنَّقَاوَةِ، فَأَطُوفُ بِمَذْبَحِكَ يَارَبُّ،

I schal waische myn hondis among innocentis; and, Lord, Y schal cumpasse thin auter.

٧ 7 لِأُسَمِّعَ بِصَوْتِ ٱلْحَمْدِ، وَأُحَدِّثَ بِجَمِيعِ عَجَائِبِكَ.

That Y here the vois of heriyng; and that Y telle out alle thi merueils.

٨ 8 يَارَبُّ، أَحْبَبْتُ مَحَلَّ بَيْتِكَ وَمَوْضِعَ مَسْكَنِ مَجْدِكَ.

Lord, Y haue loued the fairnesse of thin hows; and the place of the dwellyng of thi glorie.

٩ 9 لَا تَجْمَعْ مَعَ ٱلْخُطَاةِ نَفْسِي، وَلَا مَعَ رِجَالِ ٱلدِّمَاءِ حَيَاتِي.

God, leese thou not my soule with vnfeithful men; and my lijf with men of bloodis.

١٠ 10 ٱلَّذِينَ فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ رَذِيلَةٌ، وَيَمِينُهُمْ مَلآنَةٌ رِشْوَةً.

In whose hondis wyckidnessis ben; the riythond of hem is fillid with yiftis.

١١ 11 أَمَّا أَنَا فَبِكَمَالِي أَسْلُكُ. ٱفْدِنِي وَٱرْحَمْنِي.

But Y entride in myn innocens; ayenbie thou me, and haue merci on me.

١٢ 12 رِجْلِي وَاقِفَةٌ عَلَى سَهْلٍ. فِي ٱلْجَمَاعَاتِ أُبَارِكُ ٱلرَّبَّ.

Mi foot stood in riytfulnesse; Lord, Y schal blesse thee in chirchis.
