اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 24
| لِدَاوُدَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِلرَّبِّ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِلْؤُهَا. ٱلْمَسْكُونَةُ، وَكُلُّ ٱلسَّاكِنِينَ فِيهَا. | ١ 1 |
The earth is Adonai’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.
| لِأَنَّهُ عَلَى ٱلْبِحَارِ أَسَّسَهَا، وَعَلَى ٱلْأَنْهَارِ ثَبَّتَهَا. | ٢ 2 |
For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.
| مَنْ يَصْعَدُ إِلَى جَبَلِ ٱلرَّبِّ؟ وَمَنْ يَقُومُ فِي مَوْضِعِ قُدْسِهِ؟ | ٣ 3 |
Who may ascend to Adonai’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place?
| اَلطَّاهِرُ ٱلْيَدَيْنِ، وَٱلنَّقِيُّ ٱلْقَلْبِ، ٱلَّذِي لَمْ يَحْمِلْ نَفْسَهُ إِلَى ٱلْبَاطِلِ، وَلَا حَلَفَ كَذِبًا. | ٤ 4 |
He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.
| يَحْمِلُ بَرَكَةً مِنْ عِنْدِ ٱلرَّبِّ، وَبِرًّا مِنْ إِلَهِ خَلَاصِهِ. | ٥ 5 |
He shall receive a blessing from Adonai, righteousness from the God of his yesha' ·salvation·.
| هَذَا هُوَ ٱلْجِيلُ ٱلطَّالِبُهُ، ٱلْمُلْتَمِسُونَ وَجْهَكَ يَا يَعْقُوبُ. سِلَاهْ. | ٦ 6 |
This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face— even Jacob [Supplanter]. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
| اِرْفَعْنَ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْأَرْتَاجُ رُؤُوسَكُنَّ، وَٱرْتَفِعْنَ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْأَبْوَابُ ٱلدَّهْرِيَّاتُ، فَيَدْخُلَ مَلِكُ ٱلْمَجْدِ. | ٧ 7 |
Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the Melek haKavod [King of Weighty glory] will come in.
| مَنْ هُوَ هَذَا مَلِكُ ٱلْمَجْدِ؟ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْقَدِيرُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ، ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْجَبَّارُ فِي ٱلْقِتَالِ. | ٨ 8 |
Who is the Melek haKavod [King of Weighty glory]? Adonai strong and mighty, Adonai mighty in battle.
| ٱرْفَعْنَ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْأَرْتَاجُ رُؤُوسَكُنَّ، وَٱرْفَعْنَهَا أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْأَبْوَابُ ٱلدَّهْرِيَّاتُ، فَيَدْخُلَ مَلِكُ ٱلْمَجْدِ. | ٩ 9 |
Lift up your heads, you gates; yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the Melek haKavod [King of Weighty glory] will come in.
| مَنْ هُوَ هَذَا مَلِكُ ٱلْمَجْدِ؟ رَبُّ ٱلْجُنُودِ هُوَ مَلِكُ ٱلْمَجْدِ. سِلَاهْ. | ١٠ 10 |
Who is this Melek haKavod [King of Glory]? Adonai Tzva'ot [Yahweh Commander of heaven’s armies] is the Melek haKavod [King of Glory]! (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
