اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 147
| سَبِّحُوا ٱلرَّبَّ، لِأَنَّ ٱلتَّرَنُّمَ لِإِلَهِنَا صَالِحٌ. لِأَنَّهُ مُلِذٌّ. ٱلتَّسْبِيحُ لَائِقٌ. | ١ 1 |
Halleluyah ·praise Yah·, for it is good to sing tehilahot ·praise songs· to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to make zahmar ·musical praise· unto him.
| ٱلرَّبُّ يَبْنِي أُورُشَلِيمَ. يَجْمَعُ مَنْفِيِّي إِسْرَائِيلَ. | ٢ 2 |
Adonai builds up Jerusalem [City of peace]. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel [God prevails].
| يَشْفِي ٱلْمُنْكَسِرِي ٱلْقُلُوبِ، وَيَجْبُرُ كَسْرَهُمْ. | ٣ 3 |
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
| يُحْصِي عَدَدَ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ. يَدْعُو كُلَّهَا بِأَسْمَاءٍ. | ٤ 4 |
He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.
| عَظِيمٌ هُوَ رَبُّنَا، وَعَظِيمُ ٱلْقُوَّةِ. لِفَهْمِهِ لَا إِحْصَاءَ. | ٥ 5 |
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
| ٱلرَّبُّ يَرْفَعُ ٱلْوُدَعَاءَ، وَيَضَعُ ٱلْأَشْرَارَ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ٦ 6 |
Adonai upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.
| أَجِيبُوا ٱلرَّبَّ بِحَمْدٍ. رَنِّمُوا لِإِلَهِنَا بِعُودٍ. | ٧ 7 |
Sing to Adonai with thanksgiving. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· on the harp to our God,
| ٱلْكَاسِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ سَحَابًا، ٱلْمُهَيِّئِ لِلْأَرْضِ مَطَرًا، ٱلْمُنْبِتِ ٱلْجِبَالَ عُشْبًا، | ٨ 8 |
who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.
| ٱلْمُعْطِي لِلْبَهَائِمِ طَعَامَهَا، لِفِرَاخِ ٱلْغِرْبَانِ ٱلَّتِي تَصْرُخُ. | ٩ 9 |
He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.
| لَا يُسَرُّ بِقُوَّةِ ٱلْخَيْلِ. لَا يَرْضَى بِسَاقَيِ ٱلرَّجُلِ. | ١٠ 10 |
He does not delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
| يَرْضَى ٱلرَّبُّ بِأَتْقِيَائِهِ، بِٱلرَّاجِينَ رَحْمَتَهُ. | ١١ 11 |
Adonai takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his cheshed ·loving-kindness·.
| سَبِّحِي يَا أُورُشَلِيمُ ٱلرَّبَّ، سَبِّحِي إِلَهَكِ يَاصِهْيَوْنُ. | ١٢ 12 |
Praise Adonai, Jerusalem [City of peace]! Praise your God, Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]!
| لِأَنَّهُ قَدْ شَدَّدَ عَوَارِضَ أَبْوَابِكِ. بَارَكَ أَبْنَاءَكِ دَاخِلَكِ. | ١٣ 13 |
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
| ٱلَّذِي يَجْعَلُ تُخُومَكِ سَلَامًا، وَيُشْبِعُكِ مِنْ شَحْمِ ٱلْحِنْطَةِ. | ١٤ 14 |
He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
| يُرْسِلُ كَلِمَتَهُ فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. سَرِيعًا جِدًا يُجْرِي قَوْلَهُ. | ١٥ 15 |
He sends his word out over the earth. His word runs very swiftly.
| ٱلَّذِي يُعطِي ٱلثَّلْجَ كَٱلصُّوفِ، وَيُذَرِّي ٱلصَّقِيعَ كَٱلرَّمَادِ. | ١٦ 16 |
He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
| يُلْقِي جَمْدَهُ كَفُتَاتٍ. قُدَّامَ بَرْدِهِ مَنْ يَقِفُ؟ | ١٧ 17 |
He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?
| يُرْسِلُ كَلِمَتَهُ فَيُذِيبُهَا. يَهُبُّ بِرِيحِهِ فَتَسِيلُ ٱلْمِيَاهُ. | ١٨ 18 |
He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
| يُخْبِرُ يَعْقُوبَ بِكَلِمَتِهِ، وَإِسْرَائِيلَ بِفَرَائِضِهِ وَأَحْكَامِهِ. | ١٩ 19 |
He shows his word to Jacob [Supplanter]; his statutes and his judgments to Israel [God prevails].
| لَمْ يَصْنَعْ هَكَذَا بِإِحْدَى ٱلأُمَمِ، وَأَحْكَامُهُ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوهَا. هَلِّلُويَا. | ٢٠ 20 |
He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his judgments. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
