اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 135

١ 1 هَلِّلُويَا. سَبِّحُوا ٱسْمَ ٱلرَّبِّ. سَبِّحُوا يَا عَبِيدَ ٱلرَّبِّ،

Let the Lord be praised. O you servants of the Lord, give praise to the name of the Lord.

٢ 2 ٱلْوَاقِفِينَ فِي بَيْتِ ٱلرَّبِّ، فِي دِيَارِ بَيْتِ إِلَهِنَا.

You who are in the house of the Lord, and in the open spaces of the house of our God,

٣ 3 سَبِّحُوا ٱلرَّبَّ لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ صَالِحٌ. رَنِّمُوا لِٱسْمِهِ لِأَنَّ ذَاكَ حُلْوٌ.

Give praise to Jah, for he is good: make melody to his name, for it is pleasing.

٤ 4 لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ قَدِ ٱخْتَارَ يَعْقُوبَ لِذَاتِهِ، وَإِسْرَائِيلَ لِخَاصَّتِهِ.

For the Lord has taken Jacob for himself, and Israel for his property.

٥ 5 لِأَنِّي أَنَا قَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ عَظِيمٌ، وَرَبَّنَا فَوْقَ جَمِيعِٱلْآلِهَةِ.

I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is greater than all other gods.

٦ 6 كُلَّ مَا شَاءَ ٱلرَّبُّ صَنَعَ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي ٱلْأَرْضِ، فِي ٱلْبِحَارِ وَفِي كُلِّ ٱللُّجَجِ.

The Lord has done whatever was pleasing to him, in heaven, and on the earth, in the seas and in all the deep waters.

٧ 7 ٱلْمُصْعِدُ ٱلسَّحَابَ مِنْ أَقَاصِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. ٱلصَّانِعُ بُرُوقًا لِلْمَطَرِ. ٱلْمُخْرِجُ ٱلرِّيحِ مِنْ خَزَائِنِهِ.

He makes the mists go up from the ends of the earth; he makes thunder-flames for the rain; he sends out the winds from his store-houses.

٨ 8 ٱلَّذِي ضَرَبَ أَبْكَارَ مِصْرَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَى ٱلْبَهَائِمِ.

He put to death the first-fruits of Egypt, of man and of beast.

٩ 9 أَرْسَلَ آيَاتٍ وَعَجَائِبَ فِي وَسَطِكِ يَا مِصْرُ، عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَلَى كُلِّ عَبِيدِهِ.

He sent signs and wonders among you, O Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants.

١٠ 10 ٱلَّذِي ضَرَبَ أُمَمًا كَثِيرَةً، وَقَتَلَ مُلُوكًا أَعِزَّاءَ:

He overcame great nations, and put strong kings to death;

١١ 11 سِيحُونَ مَلِكَ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ، وَعُوجَ مَلِكَ بَاشَانَ، وَكُلَّ مَمَالِكِ كَنْعَانَ.

Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;

١٢ 12 وَأَعْطَى أَرْضَهُمْ مِيرَاثًا، مِيرَاثًا لِإِسْرَائِيلَ شَعْبِهِ.

And gave their land for a heritage, even for a heritage to Israel his people.

١٣ 13 يَارَبُّ، ٱسْمُكَ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ. يَارَبُّ، ذِكْرُكَ إِلَى دَوْرٍ فَدَوْرٍ.

O Lord, your name is eternal; and the memory of you will have no end.

١٤ 14 لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ يَدِينُ شَعْبَهُ، وَعَلَى عَبِيدِهِ يُشْفِقُ.

For the Lord will be judge of his people's cause; his feelings will be changed to his servants.

١٥ 15 أَصْنَامُ ٱلْأُمَمِ فِضَّةٌ وَذَهَبٌ، عَمَلُ أَيْدِي ٱلنَّاسِ.

The images of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

١٦ 16 لَهَا أَفْوَاهٌ وَلَا تَتَكَلَّمُ. لَهَا أَعْيُنٌ وَلَا تُبْصِرُ.

They have mouths, but no voice, they have eyes, but they do not see;

١٧ 17 لَهَا آذَانٌ وَلَا تَسْمَعُ. كَذَلِكَ لَيْسَ فِي أَفْوَاهِهَا نَفَسٌ!

They have ears, but no hearing; and there is no breath in their mouths.

١٨ 18 مِثْلَهَا يَكُونُ صَانِعُوهَا، وَكُلُّ مَنْ يَتَّكِلُ عَلَيْهَا.

Those who make them are like them; and so is everyone who puts his hope in them.

١٩ 19 يَا بَيْتَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ. يَا بَيْتَ هَارُونَ، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ.

Give praise to the Lord, O children of Israel: give praise to the Lord, O sons of Aaron:

٢٠ 20 يَا بَيْتَ لَاوِي، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ. يَا خَائِفِي ٱلرَّبِّ، بَارِكُوا ٱلرَّبَّ.

Give praise to the Lord, O sons of Levi: let all the worshippers of the Lord give him praise.

٢١ 21 مُبَارَكٌ ٱلرَّبُّ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ، ٱلسَّاكِنُ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ. هَلِّلُويَا.

Praise be to the Lord out of Zion, even to the Lord whose house is in Jerusalem, Let the Lord be praised.
